I don't know how else to get our industry help. I'm concerned and feel disappointed, discouraged, and disrespected. We are breaking our balls to supply Americans during this crisis my location has quarantined us completely from the entire facility….

Why must drivers sit and make sure their load is exactly what it was supposed to be?
It is a delay of over 4 hours per trip.
Can’t the paperwork be adjusted so IF there’s damage or a mistake it can be corrected in 90 (30? 10?) days or less?
I know a guy who only drives 1/2 of the way to CA from Utah.
He then trades trucks with a guy who drives 1/2 way from CA toward Utah. He brings imported goods to specialty shops in Utah and halfway delivers Utah honey and cheese and beer toward California.
No paperwork involved at the tradeoff point, just whatever the truck has on board.
This is what happens when people sequestered in their rarefied environments of liberal bliss make decisions that affect WORKING people. Of course, they worry little about it because they can blame Trump for all the shortages.
depending on the trucker’s manifest, accurate accounting of trailer content is necessary. Americans have no idea of what truckers deliver every day, especially those truckers that handle federal/agency materials.
