The military hates Obama

Loading

In his first term, President Obama oversaw repeal of the controversial “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Then he broke with one of the military’s most deeply rooted traditions and vowed to lift the ban on women serving in combat.

And the commander in chief has aggressively sought to change military culture by cracking down on sexual assault and sexual harassment, problems that for years were underreported or overlooked.

Obama is an unpopular president in the eyes of the men and women in uniform. Yet his two-term administration is etching a deep imprint on the culture inside the armed forces. As commander in chief, he will leave behind a legacy that will shape the Pentagon’s personnel policies and the social customs of rank-and-file troops for decades to come.

For Obama’s supporters, the cultural changes he’s overseeing are on a level with President Truman’s 1948 order that desegregated the military and put it at the forefront of the national push for racial equality.

But to his critics, his moves amount to heavy-handed social engineering that erode deep-seated traditions and potentially undermine good order and discipline.

And for the troops in today’s career force, the wave of changes to deep-seated policies and attitudes can be jarring.

Obama has a responsibility to push back on the nation’s journalism community when it is planning to publish anti-jihadi articles that might cause a jihadi attack against the nation’s defenses forces, the White House’s press secretary said Jan. 12.
This unprecedented reversal of Americans’ civil-military relations, and of the president’s duty to protect the First Amendment, was pushed by Josh Earnest as he tried to excuse the administration’s opposition in 2012 to the publication of anti-jihadi cartoons by the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
“The president … will not now be shy about expressing a view or taking the steps that are necessary to try to advocate for the safety and security of our men and women in uniform,” Earnest said.
He added:

It would not be the first time that there has been a discussion in this country about the kinds of responsibilities that go along with exercising the right to freedom of speech. And in the scenario — or in the circumstances in which my predecessor was talking about this issue, there was a genuine concern that the publication of some of those materials could put Americans abroad at risk, including American soldiers at risk.

Yes, Obama is going to try to enforce U.N. Resolution 16/18 by justifying it as a protection for our troops!

This is backwards thinking since BEHAVIOR is only part of the crimes punishable by death in Islam.
Many other death offences in Islam are STATUS crimes.
Simply the state of being a non-Muslim(infidel), or of being a homosexual, or of being a Christian, Jew or atheist/agnostic is enough for death.
Obama trying to force us into a ”freedom of speech” corner so small we cannot even write about Islam in any true, but critical way won’t save even one life!

one has to ask who is pulling the fool’s strings? the idiot is not that bright. Hitler and Moa were exceptional commanders as were Clausewitz and Sun Tzu. On War and The Art of War are classic pieces of literature that define the character of a commander. Thucydides in his work History of the Peloponnesian War articulately defines leadership in a commander.
maybe the fool can not read.

I would say that an extreme dislike for this President is not exclusive to just the military…
