The Folks Who Wear Vagina Hats And Call Us ‘Teabaggers’ Are Offended By Trump’s Vulgarity

Loading

You have no doubt heard about theĀ latestĀ Donald Trump Outrage. It is reported that Trump, during negotiations over the immigration deal, referred to certain African countries and Haiti as “shithole countries.” He then asked, allegedly, “why we need more Haitians” to come here as immigrants.

The White House rather noticeably refused to deny these reports at first. Finally, this morning, Trump issued a vague denial,Ā claimingĀ that he used “tough language” but “this was not the language used.” So it seems apparent that he either said “shithole” or something similar to it.

Predictably, the Left, the media, and some on the Right have been, shall we say, extremely displeased with the President. CNN went to full on Apocalyptic Freak Out Mode,Ā callingĀ Trump a “shithole” on air, andĀ declaringĀ him racist. These were news anchors, by the way, making these unbiased proclamations. A law professor at Yale even suggested that Trump could beĀ impeachedĀ for his salty language because he committed “an offense against the spirit animating the Reconstruction Amendments.” And on and on it goes. You know the drill by now.

Here is what I’ll say about the whole thing. Three points:

1) The Left obviously is in no position to lecture anyone for “vulgar and offensive” language. These are the same people who spent eight years calling their political opponents “teabaggers.” “Shithole” is a PG-13 term. “Teabagger” is X-rated. It’s also a personal attack on actual people, as opposed to an attack on the general conditions of a country. And let’s not forget the time they donned vagina hats and marched through the streets with signs referring rather explicitly to their “p*ssies.” I could go on at great length citing examples of the gleeful vulgarity that has spewed from the mouths of the people now so scandalized by the “s” word.

I’ve seen many on the Left lament that Trump has “coarsened the culture” to such an extent that our children can’t even watch the news anymore. AĀ reporterĀ for the Washington Post worried that “shithole” will be “all over the schoolyard tomorrow” because our kids will have learned of the term, for the first time, from Donald Trump.

I agree that the culture is too coarse and our children are too exposed to it. But “shit” is the least of our problems, I’m afraid to say. Your child is far more scandalized by the pop songs you let her listen to all day than she is by the words the President uses in a closed door meeting at the White House. Yet if I were to point out that pop music is inappropriate, you’d scoff at me and call me a Puritan. Something doesn’t add up here.

I grew up during the Clinton years. I was not allowed to be in the room when my Dad watched the news; precautions that, sadly, had little effect. I still heard all about Clinton’s vulgar exploits in school the next day. Before I graduated elementary school I had learned about dress stains and creative uses for cigars, among other tidbits. “Shithole” would have been laughably tame compared to the moral corruption I suffered as a young boy thanks to the degenerate these Leftists, with their virgin ears, placed in the White House.

2) I don’t think Trump’s comments were racist, and I don’t think the point he was making was particularly incredible or shocking. In his untactful way, he seemed to be communicating two facts: First, that third world countries are dilapidated and miserable. “Shithole” is an uncharitable way of referring to them, but there is no pleasant way to describe a nation like Haiti. Would “hellhole” be better? Whatever word you use, the point remains. These are awful places.

Second, our immigration system should favor those immigrants who will add something useful to society. The media can faint like wilting flowers all they want, but a great many people in the United States agree with the President. They see that we are deep in debt, the Welfare State is bankrupting our children, our cities are overrun with crime and poverty, and they do not want to import immigrants who will contribute to any of those problems. White or black or in between. The race is not the concern here. The concern is far more practical and logical, and it’s exactly the concern that should be primary for the President of the United States.

Trump has denied calling Haiti a shithole and Sen. Cotton and Sen. Perdue, both of whom were in the room, claimed they didn’t hear the comment. Giving the WaPo story the benefit of the doubt that they aren’t reporting fake news as is par for the course with them (NBC already claimed that the U.S. ambassador to Panama was the first to resign in protest when he in fact submitted his resignation letter on Dec. 27 thus making their claim fake news), let’s say he did call Haiti a shithole.

First of all, who cares what CNN and all the rest of the loony left have to say? No matter what Trump does or says they’ll label him a racist regardless of facts just like he was labeled a Russian agent with no proof. Second, the statement is true. Want proof? Look at all the unhinged lefties who promised to leave the country if he was elected and check out where they were going to move to. It wasn’t Haiti or any other predominately black country. They were all white dominated countries. They must either be racist for not wanting to move there or they think they are shitholes. Third, one of the major arguments of the illegal immigrants first, American citizens second pro DACA crowd is that we can’t deny entry or send them back because of the awful living conditions in their native countries. They have now negated that argument by claiming those countries aren’t shitholes. Fourth, if the left cared so much about Haiti, why are they so silent about the Clinton’s making millions of dollars off of all those poor people?

This will soon be a distant memory just like all of the other hyper-reactionary, bogus charges that have been leveled against POTUS.

It wasnt Trump it was that other guy

@kitt: Jake the Fake Tapper is now even “reporting” that “sources” who were there and “sources” who know people who there said there was a “conflation” of two different remarks and Trump didn’t call Haiti a shithole and that when he said, “take them out” he meant out of the deal not out as in kill or whatever nonsense the left is trying to imply. But they said he called countries in Africa shitholes. I guess since they completely blew their original story (read lied) we are supposed to take them at their word over their new version of the story. This is the status quo for the left be it Russiagate or the “tell all” book- lie to get the bogus charges out there and then keep talking about it as though it were true even after it is proven to be bogus. A common tactic that was used by Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, and all the other left wing dictatorships in history.

This wasn’t difficult to find. Liberals routinely make loathsome remarks concerning the areas where intelligent, America-loving citizens have congregated and refuse to vote for the failure and corruption which promotes the liberal agenda.

As mentioned above, Trump has denied saying that, so it appears that the characterization of those countries being “shitholes” was the opinion of the liberal liar that ran from the meeting with the intention of, again, wrecking any bipartisan negotiations.

@another vet: The Dems came to the meeting with a sh*tty deal and Trump told them to shove it up their sh*tholes. They assumed it was the sh*thole Hillary and Bill left after robbing the Hatians of billions in aid.

Kitt and Deplorable Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois who made the DACA proposal with Sen Lindsey Graham asserted Trump made the vile comments—are you saying he’s lying?
How can anyone deny Trump is a racist?
Why has he cancelled his trip to Great Britain–afraid of the reception he’d
receive?

You Trumpeteers are gonna put The House and Senate back in Dem hands next year—Thanks

Actually Curt, it was the tea party who originally named themselves teabaggers and even prided themselves with that term. Quite ignorantly at that. Remember?

@another vet:

Trump has denied calling Haiti a shithole and Sen. Cotton and Sen. Perdue, both of whom were in the room, claimed they didnā€™t hear the comment.

For starters, Trump is a renowned blatant serial liar. I would think that one would be a given for even the most loyalist of the trump bowel dwellers here.

And yeah, while Cotton and Perdue both ducked by claiming they didn’t hear it, Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham (both who were also in the room) admitted they did. And Sarah Huckabee said yesterday in a presser that it was okay as it was “good for their base” (those “good Nazis and good KKK folks that they need so bad in their pursuit of making America white again).

So your attempt to spin reality that he didn’t say it is just another desperate attempt to manipulate reality that is so prevalent of the Flopping Asshats.

We all know he said it. That isn’t arguable, We all know he is a goddamn liar. That too isn’t arguable. All you have left in the reasonable rationale world is to try to somehow spin that he somehow really isn’t racist. That too really isn’t arguable.

@Rich Wheeler #6 ā€œHow can anyone deny Trump is a racist?ā€

Oh, I donā€™t knowā€¦

Maybe, just for fun, you could try looking at some actual statistics rather than participating in the daily lefty ā€˜two minutes hateā€™ ā€“ although it appears Orwell massively underestimated how much time lefties could spend on hate per day.

ā€œWhat about other metrics of black economic progress under Trump? It’s early for sure, but we have some preliminary results since Election Day, when the stock market started its latest bull market run.

The black unemployment rate has fallen by a full percentage point in the last year, black labor force participation is up and the number of black Americans with a job has risen by 600,000 from last year. Preliminary data show black wages and incomes are up since the election.

The rate of job growth per month for blacks under Trump has so far been 40 percent higher than the monthly average under ā€ŽObama. Trump has averaged nearly 30,000 new black jobs per month. That’s especially remarkable because Obama was elected when employment was way down.ā€ http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-race-trump-economy-progress-0822-story.html

Soooā€¦ does that sound racist? Iā€™m not sure, I apparently donā€™t hear things the same way lefties do.

ā€Another issue that is critically important to black and Hispanic economic progress is good schools. Trump is advancing the idea of school choice so that every child can attend a quality school, public or private. In cities such as Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee, the children who benefit from voucher and scholarship programs are predominantly black. Trump wants to increase by tenfold the number of black children who benefit from these vouchers and scholarships.ā€

Racist yet?

ā€The same people who denounce Trump for being a racist hypocritically oppose Trump’s plan for better school options for black childrenā€¦

ā€¦Now we have liberals and teachers unions figuratively standing in front of the high-quality white private schools like modern-day George Wallaceā€™s trying to keep black children out.ā€

Waitā€¦

That sounds like the claimed ā€˜racistā€™ is the one trying to help the minority children, while those calling him ā€˜racistā€™ are the ones preventing them from having those opportunities.

Huhā€¦
I keep hearing how heā€™s such a racist, letā€™s keep reading.

ā€Trump also wants more infrastructure spending, more energy jobs and more apprenticeship programs so our youth have access to better jobs and better training. Disproportionately, blacks and other minorities will benefit from these programs, because fewer have the financial capability to go to a four-year college.

So is Trump a racist who doesn’t care about the future of black Americans? Let’s face it. He’s no Jack Kemp when it comes to talking about race and healing wounds with his words. But Trump is creating more jobs and higher incomes for blacks and other minorities and is trying to give a better education to every disadvantaged black child in America. That is a pretty impressive civil rights record. ā€œ

Maybe I need someone smarter like you to decode that for me, Richā€¦

Cuz Iā€™m not getting anything to ā€˜proveā€™ heā€™s racist out of that and quite a bit that seems to ā€˜denyā€™ it.

Help me out hereā€¦

@Jay: Black unemployment down 1% under DT over 7% under Obama.
Should we just ignore Archie Bunker–er DT’S statements like the one at DACA meeting?–you and I know it’s but one of many.You also know he’s a blatant liar.

I’ve watched his act for 40 years–my father’s firm represented Fred Trump–when dt has come as a Dem a Reform Party an Indie or whatever we’ve laughed and sent him home. this time he stayed—he won because of HRC and the vote of those reacting to an African American as POTUS.

BTW WHICH FOOT KEPT HIM OUT OF VIET NAM? Patriot he’s not.

@RICH WHEELER:

How can anyone deny Trump is a racist?

Pretty much anyone with an operating brain not racially prejudiced by liberal propaganda.

Why has he cancelled his trip to Great Britainā€“afraid of the reception heā€™d receive?

He explained it. Pay attention to something besides propaganda.

@Ajay42302:

Actually Curt, it was the tea party who originally named themselves teabaggers and even prided themselves with that term.

Of course, they referred to the actual tea bag, not the practice you are so fond of opening up and saying “Ahhhhh” for.

For starters, Trump is a renowned blatant serial liar.

Speaking of renown liars, when do you think you will get around to answering for YOUR lies? How about making a resolution for 2018 to not be the predictable cowardly liar and answer these:

What is your substantiation for calling Trump a racist?

Does Hillary dropping N-bombs make her a racist (and, by extension, all of her supporters)?

Is ANTIFA committing violence?

Shouldnā€™t the left be demanding Yale University change its name because Elihu Yale was a slave trader and the school was built with support from slave traders?

Tell us of how Trump “breached the Constitution”.

Why do liberals get to make vile, unsubstantiated accusations in media but conservatives get fired if they voice a non-liberal opinion?

How is questioning Obama’s demonstrably dubious birth records racist?

Are immigration laws expected to be enforced?

Who is justifying “mass murdering people not of their heritage”?

Who has ever asserted that “all Hispanic and Latinos are murders, rapist, and drug dealersā€?

When did Trump ever grab anyoneā€™s vagina and who was it?

What did Trump lie about?

Whose wages did Trump steal?

What is the nature of Trumpā€™s ā€œconā€?

How did I indicate your answers would be meaningless?

What answer have you provided that has been ignored?

Can you show us an incident when conservatives overreacted to a tragedy and accused the wrong responsible party?

Do you denounce those who are rejoicing in the slaughter in Las Vegas and using it for obscene political gain?

Trump said a word. Weinstein groped, fondled andā€¦ whatever else that shall be revealed. Are you intellectually incapable of understanding the difference?

What is Trump doing that is “energizing the KKK and Neo-Nazis”?

Provide examples of anyone that “harass and falsely imprison and then beat and attributed death to people of color (even openly declaring his prison as his ā€œown personal concentration camp)”.

How is calling Warren, who lied about being Native American, Pocahontas a slur?

Who has ever admitted that theyā€™d vote for satan or Hitler or Kim Jong over a Demaocrat? Names and quotes, please.

@Jay: The left abhors the idea that minorities will enjoy economic opportunity and climb out from under the controlling thumb of liberal oppression. So, they attack and denounce any policies or program which actually enable them to improve their lot in life.

@Rich #9 “Black unemployment down 1% under DT over 7% under Obama.”

Based on???

Rich #9 “Should we just ignore Archie Bunkerā€“er DTā€™S statements like the one at DACA meeting?ā€“you and I know itā€™s but one of many.You also know heā€™s a blatant liar.”

Links were provided above for him denying it and video to prove it…

Meh, gauging by Hillary, Nancy, et al on the Dem side, there is plenty of lying to go around…

Much of it by lefties trying desperately to make Trump look bad.

No one worried about the highly unprofessional behavior of the senator telling tales out of school. What do you think of a man that while at work in a closed door meeting coming out and sharing the bosses words with everyone?
He would be cleaning out a desk. At the very least he should be disinvited for future negotiations.

@Jay: Bureau of statistics Black unemployment Jan 2009 12.7%–Jan 2017 8.9% has Continued down to 6.8%
Stock market under Obama rose from approx. 8500 to 17.500 and has Continued up to 25,000.

There is no question CNN is trying to make DT look bad. But you gotta admit DT gives em a lot of ammo to work with.

What is all the distraction for? The One World Order uniparty is at it again https://boingboing.net/2018/01/11/section-702.html

@rich wheeler: Some interesting facts from Obamas hood http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-race-trump-economy-progress-0822-story.html
But look a squirrel!

@RICH WHEELER: #6
It seems Durban has a history of lying about things said in private meetings:
https://www.dailywire.com/news/25817/dick-durbin-has-history-lying-about-private-white-ryan-saavedra
But that’s okay with you, because he has good intentions. He lies to make Conservatives look bad.
It’s the Liberal way.

@kitt: Remember how cute it was when Biden dropped the F-bomb on national television, describing the worst law ever passed? Of course, they LOVE their celebrity-gods profanity-laced attacks on Trump. Once again, the left proves they have no principles.

@rich wheeler:

Stock market under Obama rose from approx. 8500 to 17.500 and has Continued up to 25,000.

It was supposed to crash if Trump got elected. Remember? Yet ANOTHER liberal prediction failed. Note, though, that Trump is not inspiring the markets by offering them free money (freshly printed) at 0.0% interest. This is actual growth with actual consumer confidence, full-time jobs and labor participation.

@Rich #13 ā€œBureau of statistics Black unemployment Jan 2009 12.7%ā€“Jan 2017 8.9% has Continued down to 6.8%ā€

Rich, you DO realize you snuck Trumps first year in there, donā€™t you?

Wonder why you felt the need to do that?

Tell you what, letā€™s try and take Trump Derangement Syndrome out of the equation. What was being said about black unemployment under Obama before Trump was on the scene?

Now, mind you, this is a black columnist writing for an organization that refers to itself as ā€œThe Voice of the Black Communityā€ with a date of January 5, 2015, when yā€™all werenā€™t melting down over the fact that Hillary shot herself in both feet.

ā€œā€œLike the rest of America, Black America, in the aggregate, is better off now than it was when I came into office,ā€ said President Obama on December 19, in response to a question by Urban Radio Networks White House Correspondent April Ryan.

What planet African Americans are doing ā€œbetter offā€ on is unknown. What is known is that President Obama is about to leave office with African Americans in their worst economic situation since Ronald Reagan. A look at every key stat as President Obama starts his sixth year in office illustrates that.

Unemployment. The average Black unemployment under President Bush was 10 percent. The average under President Obama after six years is 14 percent. Black unemployment, ā€œhas always been doubleā€ [that of Whites] but it hasnā€™t always been 14 percent.

Poverty. The percentage of Blacks in poverty in 2009 was 25 percent; it is now 27 percent.

The Black/White Wealth Gap. The wealth gap between Blacks and Whites in America is at a 24-year highā€¦From 2010 to 2013, the median income for Black households plunged 9 percent.

Education: The high school dropout rate has improved during the Obama administration. However, currently 42 percent of Black children attend high poverty schools, compared to only 6 percent of White students. The Department of Educationā€™s change to Parent PLUS loans requirements cost HBCUā€™s (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) more than $150 million and interrupted the educations of 28,000-plus HBCU students.

SBA Loans. In March 2014, the Wall Street Journal reported that only 1.7 percent of $23 billion in SBA loans went to Black-owned businesses in 2013, the lowest loan of SBA lending to Black businesses on record. During the Bush presidency, the percentage of SBA loans to Black businesses was 8 percent ā€“ more than four times the Obama rate.

All segments of Black America seem willing to give President Obama a pass on his failure to deliver for African Americans.ā€

http://www.blackpressusa.com/is-black-america-better-off-under-obama/

There is an old saying that what you do matters more than what you say.

Would you prefer someone who talks a good game while accomplishing little to nothing? Or would you rather have someone less glib and politically correct who manages to get done what others have only managed to yak about?

@Jay: In addition, the majority of the jobs created under Obama were low-paying and part time. Trump is creating manufacturing jobs that provide higher pay, benefits and training for future economic growth and movement.

But, that matters little, I suppose. Hate Trump. Hate, hate, hate, hate. Must Hate Trump. Must ignore positive accomplishments. Hate, hate, hate. Deny, deny, deny deny. Deny and hate. Hate and deny.

@ Rich #13 ā€œStock market under Obama rose from approx. 8500 to 17.500 and has Continued up to 25,000.ā€

Again, Rich, you are including Trumpā€™s stats in the gains you are claiming for Obama.

Most of the comparative charts between presidents rely on percentage gains.

If you want to look at absolute numbers for closing highs, the Dow Jones closing high just prior to the election was under 19,000.

At the end of the year, it was at 24,837.

The Dow’s 2016 closing high was 19,974.62 set on December 20, 2016.

Here are the 26 records set in 2016. Seventeen occurred after the election.

(table in link)

On January 25, 2017, the Dow hit 20,000.77 just moments after the New York Stock Exchange opened at 9:30 a.m. EST. It closed at 20,068.51. That was just 42 trading sessions after it closed above 19,000. That is the second-fastest rise in U.S. history.

The record is the 24 sessions it took to go from 10,000 to 20,000 in 1999.

On March 1, 2017, it closed above 21,000. That followed a 12-day run, the longest such streak since the record 13-day stretch in 1987. When the Dow breached 22,000 on August 2, 2017, it was the first time it hit three such milestones in one year.

The index closed above 23,000 on October 18, 2017. Slightly more than a month later, it broke 24,000.

The Dow has had two streaks lasting more than 10 days this year. The last time it did that was in 1959.

It’s had three nine-day runs. The last time that happened was in 1955,

The Dow has moved higher for eight months in a row. The last time that happened was in 1995.

Here are the 70 records set in 2017. (table in link)

https://www.thebalance.com/dow-jones-closing-history-top-highs-and-lows-since-1929-3306174

So, we have several notable Dow Jones achievements taking place since the election.

With of course, the evergreen inclusion of Paul Krugmanā€™s ā€œIt really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover? If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.ā€

Yet another reason why I find it difficult to put much stock (see what I did there?) in lefty predictions of all the terrible consequences of the Trump presidency.

It appears the ā€˜terribleā€™ consequences are primarily to lefty egos getting punctured.

@Jay: Statistics don’t lie but people do. Some hard facts the left ignores.

Here’s Why It’s Laughable for Obama and Liberal Media to Take Credit for Trump’s Economic Miracle

In addition, here are the recent GDP growth rates. Notice the GDP was DECREASING as Obama left office. If he was responsible for the current growth, it would have been INCREASING. He had five months of recession and 91 months of recovery on his watch and he still had the worst GDP growth (1.5%) of any POTUS since at least the end of WWII. Even Truman and GWB had higher growth rates and both had two recessions on their watch. But facts don’t matter to the left. Ask one of them what exactly Obama did to spur the current growth and they can’t name a single thing. Because he didn’t.

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/gdp-growth

@Jay: It’s obvious I was referring to gains under DT in both Black unemployment rate decline and stock market rise in 2017. Why would you say I was claiming gains for BHO in a year he wasn’t POTUS?

YOUR RESPONSE of course 8yrs vs one year. Hard to argue.

Re Trump As mentioned before—I personally can’t get by his loud mouthed, lying, classless,egotism and the fact he dodged service while I served as a Marine Corps Officer in Viet Nam. Then he disses Mac.

In a related note to the above comments

Enjoy.

@Bill… Deplorable Me:

Remember how cute it was when Biden dropped the F-bomb

And when Obama called Lybia a” Sh*tshow” and that was before they were selling humans as slaves. It doesnt matter, but I dont see anyone wanting to tour or spend spring break in these places. When I was little we all went door to door because they were starving in Africa with our little unicef boxes. The babies there still have flies on their faces after pouring untold trillions in aid into them.
http://truthfeednews.com/flashback-obama-called-libya-shit-show-and-media-was-silent/

@Rich #21 “@Jay: Itā€™s obvious I was referring to gains under DT in both Black unemployment rate decline and stock market rise in 2017. Why would you say I was claiming gains for BHO in a year he wasnā€™t POTUS?”

Based on the comment in #9, I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that you were trying to show the Obama years had a greater reduction in black unemployment.

But if you are acknowledging that in his first year, Trump has managed to reduce the black unemployment rate to half of what it was after 8 years of Obama’s liberal policies and in fact lower than it’s been in 30+ years, great.

I have said before, I was a ‘not Hillary’ voter, rather than a pro-Trump voter and can understand not liking his personality/lack of political correctness/various other quirks, but it’s hard to argue with results.

And thank you for your service! I had a low enough lottery number that I would have been there, but they ended the call-ups before I would have reported.

@rich wheeler:

I personally canā€™t get by his loud mouthed, lying, classless,egotismĀ

No, clearly you prefer classy racism and failure.

I think the best proof the Left agrees with Trump about “shithole” countries is DACA.
Adults now, but children then, brought to this country by parents.
What is the reason Lefties and DACA hopefuls don’t want to go back?
If their home countries weren’t shitholes, they wouldn’t mind.

@Mully: Is it any wonder these “experts” got the election so wrong?
