The Dots Get Connected: Soros Ally Teaches Democrats Cloward-Piven?

Loading

Could we get Fox News to bring back Glenn Beck and his chalkboard for a two-hour special? Because what began with a seemingly minor item Friday in theĀ Washington Examinerhas exposed a direct connection between congressional Democrats and the radical network Beck so vividly described, involving George Soros, ACORN, SEIU and, yes, the notorious ā€œCloward-Piven Strategy.ā€

Before we get to theĀ exclusive breaking newsĀ part of the story, let me recount how these dots got connected: Yesterday, I linked Joel Gerhkeā€™sĀ ExaminerĀ story in a post titled ā€œGreat: Corporate America Now Paying Democrats to Call Americans Racist,ā€ which mentioned that theĀ 2010 annual report for Maya Wileyā€™s Center for Social Inclusion (PDF, see Page 13)Ā ā€œlists many of the usual suspects, including George Sorosā€™s Open Society Institute and the Soros-funded Tides Foundation.ā€

Operating in ā€œfile-and-forgetā€ mode, I moved on to other stories until last night, whenĀ I was having fun on TwitterĀ with theĀ #ObamaBedtimeStoriesmeme, and one of my jokes got re-Tweeted by my friend, investigative reporter Matthew Vadum. Because Matthew is perhaps the nationā€™s leading expert on the ACORN/SEIU/Soros connection, it occurred to me he might be able to get some data on the Soros connection to what Gehrke had reported. So I sent him a couple of Tweets about it. By the time I got up about 7 a.m. today, Vadum had sent me a spreadsheet listing foundation contributions to Wileyā€™s outfit. Quickly adding up the numbers and doing additional research online, within two-and-a-half hours Iā€™d filedĀ this brief report forĀ The American Spectator:

A non-profit organization that provided training last week to House Democrats, portraying Republican opponents as racially motivated, hasĀ received significant funding from foundations linked to controversial left-wing multibillionaire George Soros.
Sorosā€™sĀ Open Society InstituteĀ has given $75,000 to the Center for Social Inclusion, which has alsoĀ received more than $850,000 from the Soros-connectedĀ Tides Foundation/Tides CenterĀ since 2005, according to documents obtained byĀ The American Spectator.
In a training session for House Democrats and their congressional staffers last week, Center for Social Inclusion founder and president Maya Wiley described ā€œconservative messagesā€ as being ā€œracially coded,ā€ and suggested that Democrats ā€œraise racial disparitiesā€ in public policy discussions,Ā Joel Gerhke of theĀ Washington ExaminerĀ reported. . . .

Should not be hard to connect the dots from the Democratic party to the Communist Party. I think it is time for a great big gun fight.

Tis a pity the Republicans can’t fight as hard and as effectively as the Democrats.

It’s almost like the Republicans don’t care to fight and only win elections when Democrats screw up.

Unreal.

Making something out of nothing—compared to what Republicans do. Now Stacy McCain’s picking on a little, old lady (Frances Fox Piven) for her activity in terms of her ideology. Somebody ought to explain to him that it’s a free country.

hi,
the REPUBLCANS have shown to have more decency and self respect for them and the people they are serving, they get it, but they don’t want to sink as low as the OBAMA’S DEMS,
it is easy notice the CLASS are not in the WHITE HOUSE, YOU GOT IT OR YOU DON’T,
IT’S NOT SOMETHING ONE CAN LEARN, that why OBAMA ALWAYS ACCUSE THEM BECAUSE HE DOESN’T HAVE THEIR CLASS , and he cannot stand it, AND HE KNOW HE GET AWAY WITH BEING A BULLY,
JUST LIKE ANY BULLY AMONG THE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, WHO GET AWAY WITH IT,
UNTIL THEIR TIME IS UP, AND THAT TIME ALWAYS COME TO GET THEM OUT .
