Well, look back at the transformation of the Democrat party. As a few members got more leftist and gained popularity, more members joined the cult. The result has been a race to get to the furthest left before anyone else can.
Now we see a trend towards violence and those who promote violence. Even sitting members of Congress are openly promoting radical, violent intimidation as a means of shutting down any opposition (not offering better ideas; that’s no longer an option). No doubt this trend will follow the pattern of the race to the left (since socialism and violence go hand in hand) and it will be a competition to be the MOST violent.
