Over the past couple of weeks, President Trump has taken a beating in the mainstream media for, among other things, suggesting that the mayor of San Juan had politicized federal disaster relief efforts in response to Hurricane Maria and that it was, in fact, local mayors and residents who were failing to help the recovery effort and not the federal government. Here are just a couple of the tweets as a refresher on the topic:

And while CNN was all too happy to run with a new narrative essentially accusing the White House of racism for it’s ‘poor’ response in Puerto Rico, a new report from Metro this morning could prove the President was right all along and that it was local mayors hindering disaster recovery efforts on the Caribbean island and not a lack of federal support.
As Metro reports, the U.S. Attorney in San Juan is now opening an investigation into whether or not local mayors around Puerto Rico have been withholding supplies from residents and/or only delivering them to “constituents who had voted for them.”
“This morning we received information from a town on the Island where a person close to the municipal administration was asking one of our federal agents that the supplies that were there could not be touched because they were for his mayor,” said Rodríguez, who then indicated that the case is already being investigated.
He added that he also received confidences from another islander whose official was also keeping supplies for “constituents who had voted for that person.”
“This is not the time to do politics … this is the time to help and to be kind to others. This is a tragedy and nobody should take advantage of the aid,” said Rodriguez, adding that if they manage to prove the indications, the accusations will arrive” no matter which party, or whoever. “

While refusing to give specific names, the U.S. Attorney’s office said that “the first is from the (area) north and the other is from the center; and another is the metropolitan area.”
Meanwhile, the investigation was launched after Governor Ricardo Rosselló received multiple complaints that supplies delivered by FEMA to some mayors were not reaching citizenship.
If this picks up steam, expect the liberal finger-pointing to grow more extreme.
Liberals get pretty audacious when they feel the corrupt media has their backs.

I could easily see this happening in such places like Detroit, Chicago, or New Orleans to name a few. “You never let a serious crisis go to waste.”
Maybe they should have joined in with Trump’s paper towel throwing exercise, to divert any suspicion from themselves.
The Metro article is almost totally devoid of specifics. We won’t name any names, and we won’t say what towns are involved, and we won’t say who told us, and we won’t say specifically what they told us… However, some people are said to have done something, or failed to do something, and we’re going to look into it.

In the past, accusations or investigations only meant MAYBE something happened, but liberal have changed all they. Liberals make accusations and launch investigations and then PROMOTE guilt. So, it should be assumed that the Puerto Ricans being looked at are guilty already. In that atmosphere, no doubt Hillary would be making a killing if she were involved in the aid delivery.
Trump donated a personal $1 million to the disaster relief. Hillary would have pocketed a personal $10 million, if history is any guide.

The complaints reached the Governors ears and he took action, we can only speculate who is being investigated, but a Female PR police officer reached a radio station in Florida and named Cruz before Trumps visit.
Some one should have waited to take the graft, the supplies will be needed and delivered for awhile yet, speed to greed will get them every time.
