A police captain in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was demoted and suspended for two weeks without pay because he refused to attend a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” event at the Islamic Society of Tulsa—an event that was nothing more than Islamic proselytizing.
As recounted by Bob Unruh for World Net Daily, June 3, 2011, Tulsa Police Captain Paul Fields is suing his chief and the city after he was demoted and targeted by an internal investigation for refusing orders to attend an event featuring lessons in Islam, a tour and a prayer service at a mosque linked to an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror financing trial.
The legal action has been brought by attorneys with the Thomas More Law Center on behalf of Fields. Named as defendants are the city, police chief Charles W. Jordan and deputy chief Alvin Daryl Webster.
At issue is a solicitation by officials in the Tulsa Police Department for officers to attend a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” organized by the Islamic Society of Tulsa. The invitation said the officers would be given tours of the mosque, meet the mosque’s leadership, be given presentations of “beliefs, human rights, women” and “watch the 2-2:45 weekly congregational prayer service.”
While at first the police administration’s recommendation for attendance at the event appeared to be voluntary – there was a voluntary signup list – the law firm said when officers refused to respond, the managers made it a required event.
Good thing the police Capt was not a woman.
I saw how the female public school children were treated when they were taken to a Mosque during services.

Actions like this is called “creeping” Shi’ria. Groups like this mosque in Oklahoma coerce city officials and other groups to pander to them based on “understanding.” Using the same tactics of the civil rights groups in the ’60’s, the Islamic groups are demanding more understanding although no one is denying them the right to worship how they choose, firing fire hoses at them, attacking them with police dogs or preventing them from voting or even sitting at a lunch counter. Yet the Muslims demand that they be treated with “equal” rights which they already have. Basically it is the Islamic community using political correctness against us.
Do any of you remember Abdurahman Alamoudi? If not, you should. Alamoudi founded and started the American Muslim Council, and through pressure, President Clinton hired Alamoudi to train imams to go into the prisons to do outreach and teach about Islam. Innocent enough you might say since ministers constantly do prison outreach. But how many of them are now serving a 23 year prison sentence for funding terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas? Alamoudi is. And he had direct access to a sitting president’s ear.
How many of the terrorist we have caught, much less Al Alwalaki, have connections to the mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, yet that mosque still remains open and still preaches radicalism?
There is an 800 pound gorilla in the room that we are trying to ignore. The soldier who was murdered in Little Rock, Arkansas was murdered by a young black man from a very Christian family due to being radicalized by other Muslims in the U.S.
Creeping Shi’ria is slow and radical Islam is, if anything, patient. After all, they waited 318 years to restart their war against western civilization.
Here we have an honest to God case of a government entity promoting specific religious actions, by making it mandatory. A REAL offense against the 1rst Amendment. Anyone want to take bets on how the ACLU will look at this case?
