Bill Clinton, in a move of complete idiocy, as one of his first acts of office turned stateside US Military Bases into “gun free zones” (aka sitting duck soft targets). Insane as it might sound, by Bubba’s executive decision, only the gate guards and military police were to be allowed to bear arms. This is why a lone shooter can kill so many on a military base, because a damn-fool Democrat decided stateside troops operating our most advanced weapon systems, were not to be trusted to carry sidearms. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and it is a policy the Pentagon would be wise to lobby the WH to change back immediately. Because now the cat is out of the bag, and our enemies know that stateside US military bases are easy pickings once you get past the three or four gate guards at each gate.
