Meet the MAGA hat wearing white supremacists who assaulted Jussie Smollett

Loading

The two Nigerian brothers being questioned over the Jussie Smollett attack are actors Abimbola ‘Abel’ and Olabinjo ‘Ola’ Osundairo, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

The pair were picked up by police at Chicago O’Hare Airport on Wednesday as they arrived back in America after visiting family in Nigeria to be questioned over the January 29 attack involving the star.

On Friday afternoon, they were arrested on suspicion of battery but they have not been charged.

Police can now hold them for an additional 24 hours without charge if the prosecutor’s office agrees, or must file charges by 5.45pm on Friday.

Family say they went to Africa on January 29, hours after the Smollett attack. Ola appeared on Empire in 2015 and both brothers have had minor roles on Chicago PD.

Smollett follows their joint Instagram account and, according to their lawyer, sometimes goes to the gym with them.

DailyMail.com has identified photographs of one of the brothers inside the gym in Smollett’s apartment building in June. The gym is private to residents of the luxury condominium building.

On Thursday night, the star was accused by anonymous police sources cited by local networks of staging the attack.

Those guys could do a lot more damage than just a little cut under an eye……if they wanted to.
Yikes.
But he never dropped his phone or his tuna sandwich.
So, faked hoax version of a hate crime for publicity.
Throw the book at all three men.
Minorities need to learn a lesson about not faking such things.
I hope their all fired off their TV shows, too.

Will thes Tweets that haven’t aged well like those above be replaced with apologies to those accused of “racism?”

Yeah, I say they check the rifling of Smollett’s butthole and the rifling marks on these characters. I think this was some “rough play” gone bad.

Smollett reportedly says he was worried he was being cut from “Empire”. Well, he probably shouldn’t worry about it anymore. I think that has been settled.

Just another in a long line of attention whore fake racist claims.

@kitt: And yet another MAGA hat wearing white right winger opened fire in Aurora, Illinois to go on Greg’s list. The left have gotten to the point where the reality they face is so bleak that they have to invent an entirely NEW reality.

Sounds a little like Covington, doesn’t it? You just can’t trust anything the left says anymore, not that they were that honest to begin with.

If the “Left” for one minute bought into this hoax, they should have their noses rubbed in it, because it stunk from day one.

I’m astonished that Smollett and the brothers Nigerian were stupid enough to think they could get away with something this ridiculous. There ARE hate crimes, but this wasn’t one of them. This was a crime of falsehood that makes real crimes harder to believe, though I doubt that Smollett was concerned with that. His interest was in publicity and notoriety, which he selfishly THOUGHT would benefit him. Wrong!

@George Wells:

If the “Left” for one minute bought into this hoax, they should have their noses rubbed in it, because it stunk from day one.

And if they would, they would think twice about doing it again… and again… and again. But they don’t and they won’t. In fact, if Smollett is even prosecuted, he will be a figure of sympathy for the left.

Facts and reality aside, in the future, without Smollett’s name, this will still be an example of the hateful racism of Trump supporters.

Smollett wanted to strike a blow against Trump. I find it curious that for all his hate, racism, corruption and collusion, the left has to churn up false events and evidence to show their outrage. Why not simply use a real example, if they are so prevalent and easy to find?

@Deplorable Me:

“Why not simply use a real example, if they are so prevalent and easy to find?”

I suspect that if you were black, or gay, or any other minority living amongst a hostile majority, you wouldn’t ask such a stupid question. I’m white, but I don’t suggest that blacks lynched themselves or set fire to crosses in their own front yards, and I don’t need to assemble evidence to support the claim that those hateful things happened because I UNDERSTAND that such hatred as was responsible for such behavior existed and still does, and race hatred does not stand alone.

Hatred of “difference” is a favored behavior in evolution that begins to present itself early in childhood, thus the taunting and bullying that the perpetrators themselves cannot rationally explain. And we still live in a world where mass shootings and genocides provide ample proof that we are far from being as “civilized” as we like to think we are. Nobody needs to provide proof that we are a hateful race – we wallow in such proof. The challenge that we fail to rise to isn’t in the offering of evidence, it is in doing something constructive about it.

@George Wells:

I suspect that if you were black, or gay, or any other minority living amongst a hostile majority, you wouldn’t ask such a stupid question.

If you were honest, you wouldn’t tangent off away from the actual topic. I don’t deny those things have happened; they did. What I point out is the assertion that TRUMP has participated; he hasn’t.

In fact, the very party that makes these accusations is the party that committed the true historic examples. Now, are those same Democrats committing the same acts today? No, but why do they deny their past and do all they can to transfer those crimes upon the Republicans? That tells me they aren’t all that contrite over the sins of their fathers.

Today, the hatred, racism, bigotry, prejudice and fascism comes from the left. It is concentrated there and what Smollett tried to pull off and the support, without the slightest hesitation or consideration, of the left. And, as I said, they have a history of such wanton acts. To be clear, no I am not referring to lynchings in the 1930’s; I am talking about the current (or carried out over the past couple of decades) events.

At deplorable Me:

“What I point out is the assertion that TRUMP has participated; he hasn’t.”

I didn’t argue that point.

“Today, the hatred, racism, bigotry, prejudice and fascism comes from the left.”

I will argue that point. Those things come from both sides. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. No racists in the GOP? LOLOL! Dems, GOP, they’re EVERYWHERE!

Surely you can man up and admit that? I can.

@George Wells: Only the Democrats use racism as a weapon and also project theirs upon the opposition. I would argue EVERYONE is racist to some extent and without having it made a litmus text for someone that merely disagrees with liberal dogma.

Is the left constantly chanting that being white is automatically racist and that white people are the true danger to America racist? Is inventing a crime that never happened and blaming it on white people racist?

@ Deplorable Me:

“I would argue EVERYONE is racist to some extent”

Yes. True. Evolutionarily necessary.
Beyond that, why do you need to point accusatory fingers and attempt to make the argument that although you carry some guilt, the other guy always is MORE guilty. Isn’t it ever enough to find some point of agreement and build upon that consensus instead of going to war over the differences that remain?

Smollett apparently is guilty of false reporting of a crime and of race-baiting. He needs to and will be appropriately punished. Because the case has received wide publicity, the lesson is taught to everyone who didn’t already know it. Some will learn from the mistakes of others, some won’t. That is enough. You needn’t try to punish every last person who disagrees with you politically for Smollett’s stupid crime.

@George Wells:

Beyond that, why do you need to point accusatory fingers and attempt to make the argument that although you carry some guilt, the other guy always is MORE guilty

Hold on there, scooter. I carry no guilt. None whatsoever. Because I have never committed a racist act. I have treated all the same. I’m not someone that uses

racism

like a pronoun. I don’t whip racism out in a discussion like a handgun. I have also never used minorities as props or pawns. Look to the Democrats for that.

It’s hard to come to an agreement with people who call you a racist at the drop of a MAGA hat. Don’t preach to me about conciliation; tell that to your leftist buddies.

Because the case has received wide publicity, the lesson is taught to everyone who didn’t already know it.

Has it? Have the liberal networks devoted as much time to this as they did the heinous acts committed by the Covington MAGA Gang? The answer is no. The answer is the story is being slowly buried and Smollett will become a subject of pity and sympathy… to the left.

Smollett didn’t do anything Christine Ford didn’t do. Or the accusers or Roy Moore. Or those of Trump. Without penalty and condemnation, it will happen again. And again. And again. Because, as with Moore, sometimes it works.

@Deplorable Me:

Who are my “leftist buddies?” The people who would join me in shutting down our borders to all immigration? Are THEY “Leftists?”
I have agreed with YOU that there is a racist streak in all of us. If that makes me a “leftist,” it makes you one too.

The first time I heard the catchy little phrase “If you aren’t part of the solution, you ARE part of the problem,” I didn’t believe it. It took me years and a much wider perspective on the topic of civic responsibility to understand its full implications. It isn’t enough that you haven’t committed a prosecutable crime. Sometimes turning your back is just as bad. Prime example: German citizens during Hitler’s regime. “Guilt” has many facets.

And yes, I WILL preach to you. Wisdom and the United States Constitution give me that right in spite of the fact that no man is without sin. If your heart isn’t in it, there will be no conciliation, but that would be all our loss, not just mine.
