“In order to maintain a standard worthy of this committee’s responsibilities, I am hereby rejecting the appointments of Representative Adam Schiff and Representative Eric Swalwell to serve on the Intelligence Committee,” he wrote in a letter to Jeffries on Tuesday.
The move was no surprise.
Republicans have been up in arms over the issue since 2021, when Democrats staged votes to remove GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) and Paul Gosar (Ariz.) from their committees following revelations that they had promoted violence against some of their Democratic colleagues.They did? I wish there were some kind of internet search function — let’s make up a word, and call this process “googling” — which would allow you to discover what Adam Schiff said about actually having seen with his own eyes classified documents constituting conclusive proof that Trump colluded with Russia, and then the sections of the Mueller report stating that no such evidence exists or has ever existed outside the alcohol-soaked and diseased mind of Hillary Clinton, and then Adam Schiff’s walk-backs stating that when he said he saw classified documents that proved Russian collusion, he meant he saw the same public Trump statements that everyone saw and made his conclusion based on that.
I wish there were some way for you to prove when someone isn’t telling the truth, Media. It sure seems very important to you when the person you’re accusing of lying is a Republican. But when it’s a Democrat, suddenly you just want to throw up your hands and say, “This guy’s saying one thing and this other feller’s sayin’ the other and gosh who knows, who can tell?! It’s crazy!”

Swalwell… well, that’s a gimme and it is an embarrassment Pelosi didn’t have the guts to remove him when he was dipping his wick in a CCP spy (who was screwing whom, though?). In fact, Fartsmell should have been investigated and probably prosecuted for warning Fang Fang that the FBI was onto her.
Just as obvious is Schiff. Man, can that guy LIE! Putting the nation through a pointless and dangerous turmoil over “Russian collusion” by promoting the lie that he actually had solid proof Trump was a Russian asset and then, during that first farce of an impeachment by, in lieu of presenting facts and evidence in the most serious exercise our government can conduct, presented a “parody”. SCHIFF is a parody. No, his lie-filled, fabricated and truth-resistant version of Trump’s phone call with Zelinsky was an insult to intelligence, just as he is. Pompeo says that, as CIA director, he provided classified information to Schiff that Schiff then leaked to the public.
So, is it debatable that there may be another reason to keep these two California turds out of the national security network? Is it, as the Democrats whine, a retaliatory action in response to the DEMOCRATS’ retaliatory action of removing Greene and Gosar from their committees (and, we could add kicking all Republicans off the “select” January 6th committee so it could be totally 100% partisan)? No, the justification for FINALLY flushing this shit off that committee is not only absolute but also long overdue.
As for Staube, the solution is simple. McCarthy should ask himself, WWPD? (what would Pelosi do?) If Staube is a YES vote on kicking the racist anti-Semite, immigration, income tax and campaign finance fraud Omar off her committee, then let him proxy vote. If he isn’t, keep proxy voting banned.
