Liz Cheney Is Not the Boss of Republican Voters

Loading

By Ned Ryun

As CNN, the Washington Post, and the rest of America’s finest propaganda outlets lecture Republicans that Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) must stay in GOP House leadership because she is a “truth-teller” (or whatever miserable lie they’re currently peddling), voters know she’s just a useful idiot of the Left. She brings nothing to the table for Republicans except lies (the Russian bounty hoax), ignorance (the 2020 elections were free and fair and January 6 was an “insurrection”), mediocrity (a miserable fundraiser and communicator), all of which are smothered with a heaping serving of neocon warmongering gravy.

There is absolutely no constituency for someone like Cheney inside the Republican Party, except maybe at a table also seating Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Meghan McCain.

The propagandists, of course, are doing propping up Cheney for a reason. How better to distract from the far-Left misery of the Biden Administration than to gleefully highlight the No. 3 Republican in the House going on MSNBC and CNN to bash the caucus she’s supposed to be promoting?

Cheney should never have been reelected to leadership in January, but thanks to the backing of gutless wonder House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), she was reelected. She then proceeded to go on a four-month rampage undercutting her colleagues at every turn.

Cheney’s whiny temper tantrum at the party rejecting her nation building-forever war idiocy is really a microcosm of where the party used to be and where it’s at now: she’s a throwback to the GOP of 2006—so out of step with today’s party she has no business representing one of the strongest Republican districts in the country, much less leading the party.

As this all plays out, with Cheney’s forced departure from leadership perhaps imminent, it’s vital that Republicans not lose sight of what they must do in the immediate future: they must take back at least the House in 2022 to stop the complete and utter madness of the un-American Left, and by that I mean the Democratic Party.

But for Republicans to do that, they must paint a bright and bold picture of the differences between themselves and the Democrats for the voters.

Ask yourself: Would the Republican base be inspired to go to the mat in 2022 for a party personified by Frank Luntz and Liz Cheney, or Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy for that matter? All of those names scream of a decaying, simpering, corporatist party—one that appears more eager to appease the voracious Left than its own base.

Throw in the cabal of corrupt consultants who run much of the party machinery and you end up with the terrible dynamic of desperately needing to win an election for the good of the country, but doing so with a party filled with leadership, consultants, and advisors who despise the base and view them as useful idiots.

It’s not a good dynamic, to put it mildly. For a change, wouldn’t it be nice to have party leadership that actually reflected the base? There’s a reason Donald Trump and his America First agenda had a 95 percent approval rating with the Republican Party. The ideas of prioritizing the American people on trade, immigration, jobs, and other issues are really just common sense—something in short supply among Republican establishment types.

Granted, leadership is incentivized to be stupid by the corporatist donor class, but it’s also that many inside the party hierarchy and machinery lack any real moral compass or hard set absolutes. Most of their values are negotiable when money is on the table.

Now put that soulless, empty moral and ethical behavior up against the religious zealots of the Left. Ask yourself who’s going to win most of the important political fights in the future. Hint: It’s not the soulless careerist types in pursuit of 30 pieces of silver or the new $2 million dollar home they can buy in Florida for cash.

But here’s another problem if we’re being perfectly honest: One of the reasons that we don’t see more America First leadership in the party is that most congressional members are more afraid of their party leadership than they are of their own voters. Why? Because the party leadership controls their committee assignments, their fundraising prospects, and their chances for reelection. It really is a calculation based on fear and self-preservation: the overwhelming majority of elected officials are experts in self-preservation and respond to what they fear the most.

We need congressional members who are more afraid of their constituents than they are of leadership. I mean, we are the ones who elected them to serve, not the party.

No one that voted for an illegal, unconstitutional impeachment should be allowed to be a representative in our government.

Liz who?

Ned points out what IMHO has ben a major problem the last 32 years for the GOP! “We need congressional members who are more afraid of their constituents than they are of leadership. I mean, we are the ones who elected them to serve, not the party.”!

When the folk we elect do what Rove/Bush cabal says; not what we want, the frequently do not get re elected. And if we think the new guy will brake his word to us and obey Bush, we never elect him.

TRUST

Are you a trustworthy man who will keep; his word; or an untrustworthy tool of “our betters”!

I trust none of the 4 folk lie mentions t the start of section 2! NONE

not “lie”. HE
manual dexterity?

No, the party prefers a one-term conman who incited a riot and took hours to take action against it.

That’s right. No one wants idiot Biden. That’s why he had to use fraud to grab power.

Liz Cheney has more integrity and spine than her party’s male colleagues, who roll over and pee themselves the moment Trump gives them a hard look. THAT’S what they can’t stand about her.

LOL…

You seem dead set on maintaining the Uniparty.

Perhaps you work for the State Department, after all?

Trump IS what people like Cheney and Biden and Pelosi pretend to be: an accomplished leader.

This strange Blues on love affair with Cheney is only meant to distract from Biden’s complete failure.

Job loss, dead/ caged kids, embolden enemies, more debt, higher prices, segregation…all part of the Biden Crisis.

Those idiots who bought the Democrat grift are poorer for it.

Trump is Eric Cartman.

Idiot Biden is Mortimer Snerd.

Biden is Stan’s Grandfather. At least Cartman can execute a plan…

Again, no one that supports impeachment for a purely political purpose should be in Congress.

His followers don’t even support his removal as the result of a presidential election, the legitimate results of which were endorsed by the lawful election officials of all 50 individual states.

So, if we’re saying the system and procedures are corrupt and democracy has been compromised, your argument is to say “they system you say is broken is saying it’s not broken!”

That’s your ridiculous argument?

Idiot.

Biden won nothing. Legal and illegal methods to game/rig the election occurred. Period. It’s fact.

If banks and Zucks spent Billions buying votes and gaming the election for Trump, you’d be the first to bitch.

Joe Biden is President of the United States, and Donald Trump is not. Donald Trump is awaiting indictment(s).

Joe Biden is President of the United States, and Donald Trump is not. Donald Trump is awaiting indictment(s).
No foolish one, you are waiting for indictments and have been for years, cause you think TV opinion shows are real news. That makes you a gullible asshat.

He wasn’t considered indictable as a sitting president; many records relevant to current investigations were also locked down while he was. That changed only 110 days ago.

I’m inclined to believe Michael Cohen’s assessment of the Weisselberg and Giuliani situations. Both men have nothing to gain and everything to lose by covering for their former boss. Cohen has already been there. We’ll see what happens.

Of course you are inclined to believe proven liars. You like lies and the liars that spread then; you’ve confirmed that. No doubt the corrupt DOJ, weaponized by Democrats will continue their “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” agenda. Democrats hate justice and due process as it prevents people from being prosecuted and persecuted for political purposes.

No, he isn’t. He’s an imposter, an interloper. He’s a puppet of corruption, emplaced through fraud to weaken this country and make is more easily destroyed.

Putin’s opposition is awaiting more “indictments”, too. Democrats are just like Putin. When offering better policy fails, rigged elections (with plausible deniability) and “jail-time” for the opposition are the norm.

2024 will see the election of the 46th President, assuming we get usurping Democrat cheats under control.

Fraud. The election was fraudulent. It was NOT lawful.

greg’s using “Xi-logic”. Don’t be surprised when communists don’t want to admit they are communists.

Most third-world countries like China have issues in the morality department, to boot.

No one that voted for an illegal, unconstitutional impeachment should be allowed to be a representative in our government.

Wild. Comrade Greggie, who has never had a good word for almost any Republican, and expressed absolute hatred for Dick Cheney, now sings the accolades of Cheney’s globalist and war mongering spawn.

How times have changed.

Because she, like his Democrats, supported using impeachment as a cheap political weapon. Anything that makenthis nation weaker, people like Greg endorse and support.

I respect Elizabeth Cheney not only because she has maintained her capacity for independent thought as the GOP has turned into a party of groveling Trump zombies, but also because she has had the courage to publicly speak her mind, knowing full well what it will cost her.

The best man currently in the Republican Party has turned out to be a woman. Most of the “men” have become the fawning followers of a playground bully.

You don’t respect Cheney. You think youbare using her to sow discord among Republicans. This is actually unifying them behind America.

The GOP is at war with itself, as Trump’s ethically challenged spineless under-bullies attempt to silence all dissenting voices and purge the Party of anyone who fails to fall in line, take the loyalty oath, and kiss his ring. That this classic authoritarian behavior is the result of outsiders “sowing discord” within the GOP is just more typical Trumpian bullshit. HE HIMSELF is the primary source of all of the GOP’s internal discord. Anyone who hasn’t already had their brain thoroughly washed has no difficulty figuring this out, based entirely upon their own observations.

Unless this trend is checked, it will be the end of the GOP. The reason is simple: What Trump is selling is a fundamentally un-American, anti-middle and working class package, thinly disguised under a wrapping of patriotic populace platitudes and phony religious posturing that he doesn’t really believe in or live by himself. A majority of American voters have figured that out. They know, for example, that the man is a LIAR, that HE tried but failed to steal the election, and that what happened on December 6th was exactly what it appeared to be. Attempting to pin that on ANTIFA or Black Lives Matter and expecting a majority to believe it is beyond stupid.

You have said, many times, that Trump is no longer president, yet here you are still blathering on about Trump.

Is that because you realize that Beijing Biden is failing miserably? Let’s see; gas stations running out of gas, the price of lumber skyrocketing, children being dumped on the Texas side of the border with not one adult in sight anywhere, almost a BILLION dollars awarded in HHS grants for unaccompanied alien children since Beijing Biden took office (I know how you worry about Federal spending), the cost of groceries also skyrocketing. So which of those things are you really, really proud of, Comrade Greggie?

Why do you avoid talking about China Joe?

Trump, the man responsible for December 6th, is still pulling the strings of his tools in the GOP like a puppeteer. Cut those strings of control and I will no longer give a damn about Trump or any of his ethically-challenged accomplices. Until then, he and the GOP remain a serious danger to the safety of the nation.

Democrats and their behavior over the past 4 years were solely and completely responsible for the Capital riot. 4 years of telling law abiding citizens they are scum, 4 years of running coup after coup against a lawfully elected (the last one) President, 4 years of inciting left wing violence and ignoring the riots, looting, assaults and murders, 4 years of violations of rights and laws. THEN the election stolen through fraud; DEMOCRATS instigated the Capital riot.

” Cut those strings of control and I will no longer give a damn about Trump or any of his ethically-challenged accomplices. ”

Bullshit. You have nothing but your hatred for Trump going for you. There is nothing about Beijing Biden worth bragging on unless you support how he allowed his crack addled son to use his position to make the Biden family richer than it should be.

And I don’t for a minute think you are actually concerned about the direction of the Republican Party. Go lie to someone that might actually believe you.

Your concern is that Trump still has influence and that he will help elect Republicans in 2022 because it’s becoming apparent to even die hard Dems that Biden is pissing all over himself.

You’ve already established that you’re incapable of objective evaluation of Donald Trump, any of his tools, or anyone who takes issue with him. You’re certainly not in a position to be lecturing anyone else about their problem with hate, since the list of those you seem to feel it towards is a very, very long one.

Trump never did anything but what was good for this country. He spread prosperity across spectrums that had never enjoyed prosperity, secured the border, addressed China’s unfair trade practices, stopped N.Korean missile launches and nuke tests and made the US energy independent, and it infuriated Democrats. Now, we have this idiot wrecking the nation. Inflation, illegal immigrants, crime, fuel shortages, and a careening to the left towards socialism and totalitarianism.

Democrats hate this country and are bound and determined to destroy it.

Because the idiot Biden, installed via fraud, is already an unmitigated disaster.

Greggie, why would anyone want to silence the dimocrats? every time they open they mouth, they just utter their contempt for the country. Let them speak so everyone seems how nuts they are.

Liz who?

Democrats are man-hating women and beta-males.

The myth of the Trump “Cult” just can’t seem to make it into reality, even with your mindless chanting of it, over and over again.

Trump is a Moderate, and represents a Majority of Americans….that’s why they voted for him. He’s a threat to the Uniparty and a threat to your identity.

He’s a threat to China, which is what this whole “install the China-paid guy, Biden” is all about.

May 11, 2021 – Life after leadership: Liz Cheney plots her long game against Donald Trump

https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/11/politics/liz-cheney-republican-party-trump-long-game/index.html

Washington (CNN)Liz Cheney entered this week knowing it would likely be her last as a member of the House Republican leadership team.

The Wyoming congresswoman fully expects to lose her position as the No. 3 Republican in the House when her conference votes on Wednesday, according to a source familiar with her thinking.
But Cheney is also planning to take advantage of her expected removal as a way to further her fight against Donald Trump’s grip over the GOP and continue hammering the message that got her in trouble in the first place: that Trump’s lies about the 2020 election are damaging for her party and the country.
Four months after the January 6 insurrection, Cheney has told friends she “does not believe Trump will just fade away” and that she’s planning to wage a protracted political war — through public statements and in the media — against the former President. The way Cheney sees it, according to sources, Wednesday’s vote is a chance to put her GOP colleagues on the record: They are either voting for truth and the rule of law or they are voting to continue down the path of lies and insurrection.

“I think it’s a mistake to think that she’s going to fade,” said one person who knows Cheney well.
That will almost certainly continue to bring Cheney into conflict with Trump and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, especially if investigations on Capitol Hill and from the Justice Department focus on the events surrounding the January 6 riot. And the prevailing House GOP message of unity over all will continue to heighten the tension between Cheney and the rest of the conference.

“It’s not about right or wrong, it’s about the focus of our conference, and focusing on pushing back on the agenda that’s being pushed by the Biden administration,” said Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana, the No. 2 House Republican, on Tuesday.

THAT is the entire problem with you and your fellow Trumpistas in a nutshell, Mr. Scalise. IT’S ALL ABOUT RIGHT AND WRONG. Once right or wrong ceases to be the compass by which the policies, words, and deeds of any elected official are guided, that person no longer has any business holding public office.

Elizabeth Cheney understands this and has taken a principled stand based upon it, despite being fully aware of the personal consequences. She’s a far better “man” than Donald Trump, or any of his enablers. As with the late John McCain, I can easily recognize that despite our political differences.

Anyone that supports illegal, unconstitutional, political impeachment of a lawful President needs to be removed from Congress. PERIOD.

There was nothing illegal or unconstitutional about the two SUCCESSFUL House impeachments. Both were entirely in accordance with the law and entirely warranted. Given what Trump did—which you apparently never figured out to begin with—failure to impeach would have been a dereliction of duty.

On the first occasion, illegality set in when Senate republicans broke their Oaths of Affirmation, sworn before God, which bound them to provide a fair hearing of evidence, followed by an impartial judgement based upon the facts of the case. Instead, they agreed ahead to vote as a block, with the outcome of the trial having been publicly announced by Mitch McConnell BEFORE the trial had even begun.

Along with that announcement came McConnell’s public admission that he would be coordinating efforts to see that accomplished with the White House’s legal counsel. This was the equivalent of a judge announcing that he would be coordinating conduct of an upcoming trial with the accused’s defense team.

On the second occasion, McConnell voted against impeachment and THEN went on to publicly acknowledge from the floor of the Senate that Trump was responsible for the very thing that he had just declined to hold him responsible for. Inciting a violent mob to lay siege to the Capitol in an effort to stop the counting of electoral votes should have precluded any possibility of holding an elected federal office in the future, at the very least.

It was totally and completely illegal and unconstitutional. Impeachment is for removing a President that has committed a crime; a high crime or misdemeanor. Even though it was PROVEN Trump in no way, form or fashion incited ANY violence it was already clear this was nothing but a political hit job against Trump. NO due process was followed or any proper investigation (just like the first embarrassment). It was nothing but a stupid, crass, unconstitutional political stunt and ANYONE that supported it should themselves be impeached.

PERIOD.

It’s not a coincidence that you leftists always have to support your accusations with massive lies.

You are sounding desperate, just as you always do when you are clearly trying to avoid any discussion on your side of the aisle.

That is why you support only RINOs who are not representative of the people who put them in office.

Well, OJ endorses her, cites her truthfulness. So, Greg is in good company.

For the most recent closed term, Heritage Foundation gave Cheney an 82% favorable conservative scorecard rating. In the Wyoming District 1 race she won 62 percent of all votes cast in 2016, 63 percent of all votes cast in 2018, and 68 percent of all votes cast in 2020.

Her entire problem has to do with taking a principled stand against Donald Trump—the guy who lost both the White House and the Senate majority for the GOP, who tried to overturn an election that he clearly lost by inciting a mob, and whose national approval rating is lower now than at any time while he was in office.

Anyone that supports illegal, unconstitutional, political impeachment of a lawful President needs to be removed from Congress. PERIOD.

“When in our democratic republic, forces of conspiracy, division, and despotism arise, it is the patriotic duty of citizens to act collectively in defense of liberty and justice…”

The opening words of a warning to the GOP, coming from a separatist movement within their own party, which will reportedly be publicly released this coming Thursday. Evidently they’ve totally had it with Donald Trump.

“When in our democratic republic, forces of conspiracy, division, and despotism arise, it is the patriotic duty of citizens to act collectively in defense of liberty and justice…”

Which is why idiot Biden’s fraud and the Democrat’s incitement of violence and domestic terrorism is being so vehemently opposed. Democrats are the threat to the Constitution and they are actively trying to destroy it.

Your fear of Trump is cute. Now your new quisling champion has be fired, so what’s next?

Trump is part of real democracy, not a pre-selected candidate installed by the Uniparty.

Be afraid.

Trump upheld the Constitution which the left has been trying to dispose of. THAT’S why they fear him and his influence.

Yer OUT, Liz. So it should happen to ANYONE that supports impeachment to try and achieve a political ouster of a lawfully elected President. Lying BITCH.

Trump can pound his tiny little fists on his highchair tray in glee over Cheney’s ouster, and you can cheer him as he does so, but the dysfunctional “very stable genius” has cost the GOP the White House, its Senate majority, and whatever credibility it might somehow still have had with a majority of American voters.

Cheney was removed behind closed doors by way of an unrecorded voice vote. They were peeing-their-pants afraid not to do as Trump’s commanded, but also afraid to publicly attach their names to the action. This is what they’ve become. They’re afraid to defy the playground bully, even after the voters kicked his butt off the playground.

Funny… I saw video of it. Looks like your lying propaganda media has made you look like a fool… again.

Interestingly, Rep. Elizabeth Cheney’s votes in the House supported Donald Trump’s positions 92.9 percent of the time, while Rep. Elise Stefanik’s House votes supported Trump only 77.7 percent of the time.

Obviously this wasn’t about policy. It was about speaking out, or pledging allegiance to The Donald.

Because you have no respect or knowledge of the Constitution, you simply don’t understand. It’s not agreeing or disagreeing with Trump on this issue or that. It is supporting an illegal, unconstitutional impeachment that was nothing but a political hit job. Supporting EITHER of those impeachments, both ginned up without an associated crime committed by Trump, trampled the Constitution and made a mockery of our entire system of due process, justice and laws and ANYONE that supported either of them is nothing but shit and should be driven out of Congress. Cheney is getting off easy. The same goes for Romney.

Democrats are committed to destroying the Constitution and the country.

Horse hockey. Everybody knows this had nothing whatsoever to do with upholding any constitutional principle. It was all about Trump’s continuing control over the Republican Party.

Trump upheld the Constitution and reinstituted the rule of law after Obama trampled it all. Idiot Biden is trampling and DESTROYING all that, in a breakneck pace.

Let’s see; we are in a solid gasoline shortage with gas stations running out; the employment numbers recently released were in the toilet; there are signs of runaway inflation in the near future not even taking into consideration the cost of lumber; the southern border is an absolute disaster with cayotes dumping small children less than a year old and unable to even walk on Texas ranches, leaving them alone with no adult and the Chinese flu just won’t go away and you really think voters in 2022 are going to give a shit about Lizard Cheney?

You’re an idiot, Comrade Greggie.

As Mitt Romney rightly pointed out, what the Trump cultists just did to Elizabeth Cheney will gain the GOP no new voters, while simultaneously costing them some that they already had—all to please a guy who has been impeached twice, has already been rejected for a second term by a margin of 7 million votes, and who has the possibility of multiple criminal indictments hanging over his head.

This was a spectacularly dumb play, and most likely not the last we’ll see before the 2022 elections.

Not looking for votes. Looking for honest representation, not allies of the socialist left.

“As Mitt Romney rightly pointed out, what the Trump cultists just did to Elizabeth Cheney will gain the GOP no new voters, while simultaneously costing them some that they already had”

Mittens has as much influence on Republican voters as does Lizard Cheney. The entity that seems to have their Hanes in a twist over establishment Cheney being removed from a position of power is the NYSlimes who prints articles only for the purpose of being the print arm of the DNC.

I promise you, Comrade Greggie, voters care less about Globalist Liz than they do about Beijing Biden’s total failure in just slightly over 100 days, something you go to great lengths to avoid discussing.

Why are you leftist lemmings so gullible?

That must be why the voters gave Trump the boot and elected Biden by a 7-million-vote margin. Which, of course, is another reality his cult members deny.

What does any of that have to do with Lizard Cheney?
I find it absolutely telling that you, a radical leftist, after years of railing on U.S. intervention in the Middle East, now defends war monger Lizard Cheney. But then, you are dimwitted enough to believe the crap put out by the NYSlimes, et al, as if there is no possibility the Slimes could be lying (something it has done since the Holodomor).

Now, Comrade Greggie, why don’t you tell us how well Beijing Biden is doing?

It has EVERYTHING to do with it. Elizabeth Cheney has publicly observed that Trump’s Big Lie is, in fact, a Big Lie; she has publicly held him personally responsible for consequences for which he was, in fact, personally responsible. Stating these glaringly obvious truths was an unforgivable act of disloyalty. Every bit of power and influence that Donald Trump now holds is totally dependent upon continued belief in that lie.

Nothing is a lie until you prove it so. Just saying something is a lie (or, as in the case of all your false accusations, that were proven lies, the truth) doesn’t suffice, especially when proven liars are making the declarations. Democrats have lied about everything, so they have no credibility. You have promoted Democrat lies, so you have no credibility. Provide some PROOF.

Keep celebrating the success of election fraud. That’s what is destroying this nation, Democrat corruption and the media’s complicity. Idiot Biden MAYBE got 60 million votes. Trump wiped him out, but for FRAUD.

Trump was forcing government to work for the citizens, not just be a cash cow for politicians and Democrats could not stand for it. Just look at the disastrous state the nation is in now. Pathetic. Democrat failure on a massive scale.

Defending Cheney is supposed to take your attention away from idiot Biden’s massive failures.

Odd, you leftists create rumor after rumor about Trump “pounding his fists” and throwing tantrums, but it’s always Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, Omar and other idiot Democrats throwing the tantrums when they don’t have everything 100% their way.

Trump was the best thing for this country in 40 years. Democrats are nothing but greedy destroyers. Just look at this idiot’s performance so far. He took a solid economy, secure border and peace in the Middle East and destroyed it all. What an absolutely stupid moron fraud put in office.

The Very Stable Genius made Great Wonders from the ruins Obama left, all of which Biden destroyed in only 100 days.

Well, how about that! You CAN cite facts!

Elizabeth Cheney, today after her removal by secret vote:

I think she is talking about Obama.
