Are the figures for Italy correct? 1,016 deceased out of 15,113 confirmed cases? That’s a much higher mortality rate than China.

@Greg: Twenty-three per cent of the Italian population is over 65, making it the oldest in the world after Japan.
Washingtons death toll is high also because it hit an old folks home.
