Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer gave quite a scolding Friday to his fellow panelists on PBS’s Inside Washington.
During a discussion about the murder of our ambassador in Libya, Krauthammer said, “I just want to respond to my liberal pals over here. I can’t believe you guys are covering for the administration on the Susan Rice thing when they themselves said five days later it was obviously a terror attack” (video follows with transcript and commentary):
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: I just want to respond to my liberal pals over here. I can’t believe you guys are covering for the administration on the Susan Rice thing when they themselves said five days later it was obviously a terror attack. Obviously, everybody could see it. So why for a week did the administration pretend that it was a demonstration?
NINA TOTENBERG, NPR: Well, it wouldn’t be a very good plan if they were pretending and then saying something different later.
KRAUTHAMMER: It’s a good plan because the longer you draw it out, the less that the media and the country will care about it. It’s an issue, you seize of the issue right away, and it’s worked. Who talks about it other than…
GORDON PETERSON, HOST: Well, we’re talking about it.
KRAUTHAMMER: The third PBS segment of the show. Come on, give me a break.
PETERSON: Now you’re insulting your audience, the people who are still with us.
KRAUTHAMMER: No, these are the nine people in America who really care about stuff. What about all the others?
Charles may be strapped in a chair, but he’s a hard hitter. Well done Charles, well done indeed.
The MSM is already covering for Obama’s poor showing in the coming debates.
All media is saying he is the under-dog, since he has no time to rehearse, etc. The rationalizations should be an embarrassment to anyone with a pulse, but apparently the media’s ability to treat the listeners like abject idiots knows no bounds.
Never thought I would live to see the media be called out on national tv…..and not even bother to reply. We have no honest broker. In obtaining information we are on our own. We do have the internet until a reelected Obama finds a way to shut down the opposition, and he will try. Terrorist attacks of the last two weeks are not being covered. What if the papers had not covered Pearl Harbor? Would there have been no WWII?
These folks are no longer liberal Democrats as we knew them twenty years ago. They are something new in American history. They want control and will do what they have to do to achieve it.
Scary, scary people.
SCARY INDEED, after the inauguration of OBAMA, GOING

THERE WAS A “SAYING” CIRCULATING IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY,
THAT THEY WHERE DISAPPOINTED WITH OBAMA, BUT THEY WHERE STUCK WITH HIM, AND TO SAVE THEIR PARTY, THEY HAD TO COVER FOR HIM.
THAT “SAYING” WENT AS FAR AS OUTSIDE THE USA, AND STILL IS ALIVE AND WELL.
JR, with a little less time spent on the View and in Vegas, Obama might be up to “par.”

@Skookum: Well, obama is on a one P-POTUS crusade to right the financial wrongs he administered to Las Vegas in the 1st months of his coronation. I guess his goal is to spend some of the $1.4 B spent on him and family in Vegas.
