Joe Biden on the Second Amendment: No amendment is ‘absolute’

Loading

Joe Biden is calling for a cultural shift around how the country thinks about gun ownership.

“The Second Amendment — no amendment is in fact absolute,” Biden told the Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund’s Presidential Gun Sense Forum Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

“You cannot stand up in this hall and yell fire. That’s not freedom of speech because they know the consequence of yelling fire: There’ll be a stampede, and someone will get hurt,” the former vice president said.

The national conversation regarding gun control should extend beyond regulating who can buy a firearm to, for example, the effect violence can have on survivors, Biden told the audience. He added he was starting to see dialogue evolve in that direction, creating “a movement” toward change after so much gridlock in Congress.

“Folks, don’t apologize at all about the Second Amendment,” Biden advised, explaining how the amendment allows for limitations on who can own a weapon and what type. “These guys will tell you, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. Give me a break.”

Out pandering the other Democrats is tough work, huh, Joe?

You can prosecute a person for abusing their right to speech, but you can’t cut their tongues out to prevent them from maybe abusing speech.

Biden:

“These guys will tell you, the tree of liberty is watered with the blood of patriots. Give me a break.”

Thomas Jefferson:

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

And yet, when pressed for his favorite non-president person from the past, Joe Biden named Thomas Jefferson!

So, two OOPS.

Out appealing to the Useless Nations again Joe? what kind of a Bean-Brain Screwball are you? Yeah a Democrat the Stupid Jackass Party who always tend to forget the realy meaning of the Constitution the 2nd Amendment means what it means and if you cant get that into your walnut brain then you need to Leave

If every amendment was absolute, every Supreme Court decision should be 9 to 0, if there was any need for the court at all.

drunk joe is loosing. elephant michelle is lining up in the wings to enter the race late as the only one to save the demorat party. to bad her daughters are not the gay terrorist husbands-DNA will show his is not muslim daddy.

@MOS # 8541: Gropin’ Genius Joe doesn’t even know when he was Vice President. He thinks it was last year. Or, he is just lying again.

@Deplorable Me:

I thought for you guys, groping and lying was cool?

You seem to have the hardest time actually making a stand.

@Ronald J Ward: Have you ever paused to consider the number of things you “thought” that were based totally on liberal lies?

Apparently not.

@Deplorable Me:

Of course I understand the default that it’s liberals fault in 3, 2, 1 but that wasn’t my question.

You attack Biden for being a groper and a liar. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with that assessment but by your very own standards, what’s the hell wrong with that? I thought you folks approved of people who grope and lie.

You just can’t seem to make up your minds on what’s right and wrong.

@Ronald J. Ward: Unlike your fantasy accusations of Trump, we have video of Biden groping. We also have video of him being stupid. Likewise, we have documentation showing you are a cowardly liar. Therefore, your questions are invalid.

@Ronald J. Ward: Bark bark, little dog.

Still have no point.

Run on home, boy.

@Nathan Blue: Yeah, looks like somebody stepped in something and tracked it inside.

@Deplorable Me:

@Ronald J. Ward: Unlike your fantasy accusations of Trump, we have video of Biden groping. We also have video of him being stupid. Likewise, we have documentation showing you are a cowardly liar. Therefore, your questions are invalid.

Let’s unpack that a bit. Trump’s groping is my fantasy while Biden’s is on tape and if that ain’t good enough, you have the goods on me as a liar (that part made me chuckle) which invalidates you being questioned of your nonsense?

Trump is on video admitting his groping, he admitted publicly of his groping, and has over 24 women accusing him of sexual misconduct. And it’s worth mentioning his long history as a whore monger. It’s also a well established fact that he’s a compulsive liar and has been for years.

But I never expected a coherent response from you. I just felt like scoffing at your incredible and unashamed hypocrisy and the amusement of half baked defense.

@Ronald J Ward:

Trump is on video admitting his groping, he admitted publicly of his groping

Provide Trump’s exact words admitting his groping. Of course, I am aware I have asked this of you before and you have scurried away (thus, cowardice AND lying), but why not try once again?

you have the goods on me as a liar (that part made me chuckle) which invalidates you being questioned of your nonsense?

Yes, it does. Because what your reputation is that you make outrageous accusations totally devoid of foundation in truth then avoid providing your substantiation like a girl avoiding a spider.

We’ll see if this is any different.

@Ronald J Ward:

Trump is on video admitting his groping, he admitted publicly of his groping, and has over 24 women accusing him of sexual misconduct

What is “sexual misconduct”? Did he break any laws, and is he being charged? I don’t suppose they’d be a lot of money and political power to be gained by finding 24 women with “claims” of something nebulous. Too bad your last presidential candidate was married to a guy in the oval office who had many more than 24 women making complaints. Can’t really say anything about Trump because hey…Bill Clinton.

And it’s worth mentioning his long history as a whore monger.

That’s called being a baller. That’s why Trump is so popular with Black Americans, though your media tries to suppress it.

It’s also a well established fact that he’s a compulsive liar and has been for years

See: Clintons. No leg to stand on.

And you’re a compulsive liar too, so why all the hate?

You mad, bro?

*yanks chain…watches the little dog sit*

@Ronald J Ward:

It’s also a well established fact that he’s a compulsive liar and has been for years.

Easy whelp. Everything you post is here is no-bake cookies…

I’ve seen pizza dough with more coherence than you.

The Backdoor Gun Ban

We need new, independent, domestic end-to-end ammunition plants, and right away.

Last year, the Biden Administration banned the further import of Russian-made ammunition into the United States. After a subdued press release, which announced the ban was punishment for Russia’s poisoning of the anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow, the entire issue was shelved. Today, no one in the administration is touting the success of this initiative in getting Russia to behave itself. Which is bizarre, given Russia’s excellent behavior since then.

In reality, the Russian ammo embargo is a sanction on Americans, not Russians, and it is working exactly as intended. It was necessary because banning guns, a consistent objective of our government over the last 100 years, has proven extremely difficult.

For example, after the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, Connecticut banned assault rifles (or banned them more—a less stringent ban was already in place). A Connecticut rifle selling for $1,000 suddenly cost $3,000 because it was a “preban.” The new law proscribed any rifle or pistol that had more than a single item from a list of evil features, including a pistol grip, bayonet lugs, an adjustable stock, a flash suppressor, or a detachable magazine. As a result, items such as 60-year-old World War II carbines became illegal in the state.

But it wasn’t long before someone figured out that attaching a vertical forward grip and a pistol brace to an AR-15 could allow it legal classification as neither a rifle nor a pistol, but an “other” (which is an actual category in federal firearms law). And so, for the moment at least, Connecticut legislators are again on the back foot, and there are plenty of AR-15 “others” on the shelves.

Connecticut can always propose more stringent laws, of course, but the Supreme Court may then feel compelled to step in. California’s high-capacity magazine ban, which was overturned by a U.S. District Court and again by a three-judge federal panel, was recently upheld by the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and will no doubt end up before the Supreme Court, with the potential to strike down every high-capacity ban in the country.

If the government is to wean Americans off their stubborn attachment to firearms, therefore, a more thoughtful and insidious approach is necessary, such as was used in getting rid of smoking: They didn’t make cigarettes illegal, they just banned advertising, banned smoking in most places, and, above all, taxed tobacco to create a massive and artificial increase in prices

.

If you make cigarettes more expensive, people will smoke less. If you make gasoline more expensive, people will drive less. And if you make ammunition more expensive, people will shoot less. It doesn’t matter how many guns you have if you can’t get bullets

Following the pandemic and then Biden’s inauguration, ammunition prices skyrocketed to historic levels. The price of .22-caliber ammunition that used to cost around four cents a round is now around 10 cents. Pistol ammunition reached almost $1 a round, if you could find it at all. Common rifle calibers cost even more, and anything even slightly exotic has disappeared completely.

All this was beginning to abate when the Biden team came out with their Russian ammo announcement. Russia’s non-reloadable steel-case ammo is a huge part of the bargain-basement segment of shooting, which is all anyone can afford at the moment. The hundred or so cheapest options for any common caliber are all Russian. Delete those, and the price of shooting will immediately double again.

Americans might turn to hand-loading their own ammunition, only to find that the raw components aren’t available. Only four American companies, three owned by the same holding group, manufacture primers domestically. As a result, these critical components cost almost 100 times what they did before the pandemic. These established ammunition companies are delighted with the profits, and see no need to drive down prices with any dramatic increase in capacity. But in pursuing their natural desire to maintain a near-monopoly on the industry, their interests have aligned with the anti-gun crowd.

We need new, independent, domestic end-to-end ammunition plants, and right away. It’s expensive to set one up, which is why there aren’t more in business. But the market is there, the unit economics feasible, and America will thank you.

The Backdoor Gun Ban › American Greatness (amgreatness.com)

Putin already filled your heads with anti-government propaganda. Why should he also be allowed to provide you with Russian ammunition?

Putin already filled your heads with anti-government propaganda. Why should he also be allowed to provide you with Russian ammunition?

Such as what? Provide some examples of Putin’s propaganda.

Every constitutionally guaranteed individual right is contingent upon the exercise of individual responsibility; hence, no right is absolute. The Bill of Rights does not grant unrestricted license for irresponsible behavior that impinges upon the rights of others.

This should be so obvious that it goes without saying.

The Treachery of a Vice President“Everything Robinson outlines rings true.

And Trump’s self-serving bullshit about a “stolen election” rings true, in spite of the fact that HE’S the guy who tried to steal it?

1) Who Fired General Michael Flynn?Let’s begin with Mike Pence’s least favorite question: “Why did you insist that President Trump fire his National Security Advisor Michael Flynn in the opening days of the administration?” The official story is that Gen. Flynn had lied to Mike Pence about Flynn’s contacts with Russian diplomats. Nobody has bothered to ask Pence exactly how he was informed about Flynn’s private conversations. Think about it: somebody went to Pence with transcripts of Flynn’s calls, and told Pence that Flynn was a national security risk. Who would have access to such phone calls? Who would want to lie about the nature of those phone calls to get Flynn fired?
It almost certainly must have been disgraced FBI agent Peter Strozk.
It’s likely that Strzok was the one who pushed for VP Pence to fire Flynn because we know that Peter Strozk’s assistant was Katherine Seaman — the wife of Mike Pence’s chief of staff Josh Pitcock. We also have the text exchanges between Strozk and Page discussing infiltrating the Trump White House in great detail. (This was the subject of an extraordinary letter from Senator Grassley and Senator Johnson to AG Bill Barr.) What did Pence know about the FBI’s attempts to spy on the Trump White House? Is it even possible that Mike Pence was totally unaware that his chief of staff’s spouse worked directly for the chief of the counter-espionage unit of the FBI?
We know that President Obama warned President Trump not to hire Flynn in 2016. We also know that Flynn himself believes that Obama advised Trump against hiring him because Flynn knew about the Obama administration’s role in spying on Trump’s presidential campaign. Removing Flynn as Trump’s National Security Advisor was a top priority for the Deep State.
In other words, Mike Pence was the first person to set the Russia Hoax into motion.

2) The Ukraine ImpeachmentDuring the failed Ukraine impeachment of President Trump, plenty of State Department and NSC swamp creatures crawled out of the shadows to hurl lame accusations about Trump’s phone call with Ukraine President Zelensky. Did you know that one of main accusers was a national security official on Vice President Mike Pence’s staff?
A State Department official named Jennifer Williams was placed on Pence’s staff in April of 2019 — which was just in time to get involved in the Ukraine call and the subsequent impeachment. (What a coincidence that she arrived mere weeks before the call!) Just imagine being a few months into your new job in the White House only to volunteer to testify against the President in an impeachment trial over phone calls you didn’t like.
If you find that scenario absurd, you’re not alone. During her testimony before Congress, Jennifer Williams identified her working colleagues on Ukraine issues as Alex Vindman, Fiona Hill, and George Kent. She also testified that Trump’s call was”unusual and inappropriate” without explaining her legal reasoning. (That’s not so strange because Williams had defied an order from the White House by agreeing to appear for her deposition at all.) She was then sent off to CENTCOMM right after the Ukraine impeachment was over
Williams’ attempted takedown of President Trump moved her immediate supervisor Lt. Gen Keith Kellogg to issue his own statement about Williams:

Ms. Williams was also on the call, and as she testified, she never reported any personal or professional concerns to me, her direct supervisor, regarding the call. In fact, she never reported any personal or professional concerns to any other member of the Vice President’s staff, including our Chief of Staff and the Vice President.

Again, obvious questions should be asked. Did Williams ask permission from Pence to testify against Trump? What did Pence know about Williams and her sudden interest in testifying at an impeachment trial against President Trump? Why did Pence not dissuade her from testifying in the first place?
This is the second time that Mike Pence and his office were involved in plots against President Trump manufactured by national security officials. Do you see a pattern forming yet?

Comrade Greggie, you didn’t seem to have a problem when Hillary claimed the election was stolen from her. Or when that idiot, Stacy Abrams, did the same.

Double standard much?

Double standard always.

They conceded that they had lost the elections in question, you f*cking moron.

3) Olivia Troye And The COVID VaccinesThe worst mistake that President Trump made during his administration was probably turning over the COVID Task Force to VP Mike Pence — because Pence turned it over to his chief of staff Marc Short and Marc Short turned it over to a little known national security official with no medical expertise. If you want to know the name of the person most responsible for unleashing the Dr. Fauci vaccine nightmare on America then remember the name of Mike Pence’s “COVID advisor”: Olivia Troye.
Why was the decision made to treat the COVID virus (developed and funded by the U.S. Government under the thin disguise of the EcoHealth Alliance) exclusively with experimental vaccines (developed with funding from DARPA) instead of therapeutics? Perhaps because Pence picked a national security official to advise him on COVID who regularly appears on TV now with a framed picture of Dr. Fauci hanging prominently behind her in her house.

comment image

Olivia Troye was just as motivated to destroy the Trump Administration as Jennifer Williams, but she didn’t have the same level of interest in protecting VP Mike Pence from the fallout. (Pence’s people probably figured this out the day that Troye appeared in a TV ad announcing that she would vote for Biden.) Once again, Gen. Keith Kellogg was sent out to explain that Olivia Troye was another bad apple that happened to be planted in Pence’s office. (In fact, Kellogg announced that he had personally escorted Troye out of the White House when she was fired.) Troye then started a personal grift operation called the Republican Accountability Project — in which she came out of the closet as a full time political operative for the Democrat Party.

So that’s three members of VP Mike Pence’s office who engaged in anti-Trump activities during normal business hours. That’s a lot of treachery. Let’s not forget the ringleader of so much of this malice too: Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short

4) Pence’s Chief of Staff Gets Locked Out of White House by TrumpIf you still harbor doubts about Pence’s treachery, let’s turn to Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short for confirmation of these activities. On January 6th, Short found himself locked out of the White Housewith his car still in the parking lot. When a reporter asked Short why this had happened, Short’s reply was surprisingly honest: “He’s blaming me for advice to VP.” The he in this case, of course, is Trump.

comment imageMy own sources in the White House told me that Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short was literally the first person to call for Trump to accept the results of the stolen election and concede to Biden. Like I said at the beginning: there’s a lot of evidence of Pence’s treachery.

Long before GOP voters were suddenly surprised by Pence’s “lack of courage” on January 6th, I warned my followers on social media that any trust in Pence was misplaced. My sources in the White House told me that Pence simply disappeared after the 2020 election. (He went skiing in Vail rather than bother with contesting the 2020 election.) I wrote on Twitter at the time:

  • We might need to stick VP Mike Pence’s face on the back of milk cartons because he’s disappeared. Nov 08, 2020

Why did Pence and his staff spend four years hobbling the Trump Administration? Why can’t people believe that the GOP would try to impeach Trump to clear the way for Pence? Most Republican voters have never met the big GOP donors — and have no idea what they do with their money. The big donors wanted a Mike Pence/Nikki Haley ticket in 2024. They don’t really care what GOP voters want, and they never have. These are the people who pushed Jeb in 2016. And Paul Ryan before that. And Dan Quayle before that.

Pence is a creature of the GOP donors, not an America First patriot. That much is obvious now. Pence was added to the Trump ticket to restrain Trump’s populism — and that’s what he tried to do for four years. When pro-Trump aides were sidelined in the Trump White House, I heard the same thing from all of them: they were told to sit down and shut up and, if they were quiet, they might get to work for Pence and Haley in 2024.

It’s time for Republican voters to admit that they had no idea who Mike Pence was. Don’t be too upset with yourself. He fooled plenty of people. The man you thought he was — that guy doesn’t really exist. It’s time you paid much closer attention to your favorite politicians though— if you want your country to survive.

the village idiot strikes again. What facts are there that Trump tried to steal the 2020 election? There are many “facts” that show many irregularities in registrations and voting that indicate democrat theft, but only Trump telling states to investigate and invalidate illegal votes.

Leaked document reveals Biden’s Afghan failures

The devastating disaster that Democrat Joe Biden caused in Afghanistan will be a negative mark on his presidency for the rest of his life. There is no way to escape the bad feelings people have about Biden after what the American people saw in his sloppy, reckless, and fraudulent withdrawal of the region.
Now we have leaked information that proves Biden was worse than a mess, he betrayed many people, and it looks like it was all for political theater.

What we know is that Biden was desperate to show up President Donald J. Trump, but overriding Trump’s well-planned withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden and his team allegedly had wanted better political optics than waiting until Trump’s plan of leaving in May because Biden wanted to make political theater of a withdrawal by the marking of the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Every constitutionally guaranteed individual right is contingent upon the exercise of individual responsibility; hence, no right is absolute. The Bill of Rights does not grant unrestricted license for irresponsible behavior that impinges upon the rights of others.”

What is not obvious is that you even remotely have a clue about what you are blathering about. So to show us what a Constitutional scholar you are, give an explanation, in depth, on that comment. Show where the Constitution says that rights protected by the Constitution are not absolute, and are dependent on behavior of the citizen.

I doubt you can do that. Most useful idiots only blather what they hear from others and really have no comprehension of their own statement. You fit that mold.

I know what I’m talking about, and I know how idiots will respond before I do. But I also assume that not everyone here is an idiot. They’re just the ones with the biggest mouths, like Donald Trump.

Last edited 2 years ago by Greg

I notice you DIDN’T present any logical argument against what I said—the reason being that THERE IS NONE. The proposition that all rights are absolute is totally absurd.

I notice you DIDN’T present any logical argument against what I said—the reason being that THERE IS NONE. The proposition that all rights are absolute is totally absurd.

The reason that you found no rebuttal is because I did not present one, my idiot comrade. You seem to be so simple minded that you don’t understand the difference between a rebuttal and a request for explanation. What is it you don’t not understand about my request for you to “Show where the Constitution says that rights protected by the Constitution are not absolute, and are dependent on behavior of the citizen.”

Because you only parrot what you are told, and have no real comprehension of what you are blathering, you are unable to present any explanation of what you have written.

You’ve been doing this crap for years here at FA. And you have NO ONE here who buys what you say which is usually a bunch of words with no actual meaning. Since you are such a fan of the woke agenda, I suggest you ban yourself from FA for “misinformation.”

Show where the Constitution says…

Do you believe the First Amendment protects the right to publish and distribute child pornography? If not, you’re going to have to concede that Constitutional rights are not absolute.

I notice you don’t know the difference between exercising a right and breaking the law.

I have a right to defend myself with a gun. I don’t have the right to rob a liquor store with a gun.

I notice you DIDN’T present any logical argument against what I said—the reason being that THERE IS NONE. The proposition that all rights are absolute is totally absurd.

Rights come from our creator as emphasized in The Declaration of Independence.

greg believes it is from the government that people get their rights.

The Constitution is a document affirming those God given rights and establishes that they can not be taken from the people.

This is the fundamental difference between the leftists and Constitutional Conservatives.

If the Second Amendment were absolute, dangerously unstable persons would have a guaranteed right to carry loaded firearms anywhere they wished. Obviously there are agreed-upon exceptions to this right, so it isn’t absolute.

There’s a fundamental difference between people whose opinions are informed by logic, and people whose opinions are not.

It appears given your dependency on this topic you are unable to address far more important topics if the day

the biden economy lost 300K jobs when the expected number was +200K, a delta of 500K

the Afghanistan debacle is now clear it was a complete failure on bidens part and had nothing to do with President Trump’s plan.

Watch Live | Biden launches Moonshot to end Cancer…

I say we pack up ole Joe and send him to the moon

The cure: wear a mask.

Trump’s Doha Agreement was our surrender to the Taliban. Trump didn’t only agree to withdraw US troops below a level that could maintain our control over our bases, materials, and Afghan allies–he actually reduced US forces below that level, only weeks before Biden took office.

That is a historical reality.

Last edited 2 years ago by Greg

Total fuc$ing bullshit

Biden is not in charge of anything.

Again?
he actually reduced US forces below that level, only weeks before Biden took office.

But the base was not over run, no US soldiers died, Trump left as many as was required as per his military advisors.
Bidens military advisors chucked him under the bus or it was President Poo poo pants plan to pull out in a highly embarrassing manner getting our people killed, then droning aid workers and little children as a show of strength.

Quite different than the pin point execution of the terrorist General from Iran.

Last edited 2 years ago by kitt

Trump’s agreement was totally ignored by the Taliban (because idiot Biden is weak and stupid) and by idiot Biden. Trump would have executed a near flawless withdrawal. Because everyone idiot Biden has in his regime is lazy and incompetent, his attempt was a total disaster and it was idiot Biden’s disaster.

Yes, and it’s a historical reality that Biden botched the withdrawal. Not Trump, Biden.

Own it, you f*cking coward.

You’re stupid talking point is dismissed.

How do you people function, when literally anything you want can be true, if it supports your idiotic worldview?

I choose facts. Trump had nothing to do with it.

Last edited 2 years ago by Nathan Blue

Trump had EVERYTHING to do with it:

Agreement for Bringing Peace to Afghanistan between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban and the United States of America

(Signed in Doha, Qatar on February 29, 2020, which corresponds to Rajab 5, 1441 on the Hijri Lunar calendar and Hoot 10, 1398 on the Hijri Solar calendar, in duplicate, in Pashto, Dari, and English languages, each text being equally authentic.)

When President Biden took officeU.S. forces had already drawn down from roughly 15,500 American forces to 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.

biden called it an extraordinary success. Does that mean he followed President Trumps plan?

Trump had NOTHING to do with it. Trump’s agreement with the Taliban was abrogated by the Taliban while idiot Biden was in charge. Idiot Biden could have made any changes he felt necessary, but he was too damned stupid and lazy to worry about it. As the recently leaked memos show, when time to execute the withdrawal neared, suddenly this regime of morons noticed all was in chaos. They had paid no attention to developments at all, just going along for the ride doing photo ops and eating ice cream.

It’s all idiot Biden. He is a disaster and everything he has done has been a disaster.

2500 troops was enough. This was the recommendation of our generals.

Biden pulled out, and failed on his own. It had nothing to do with having 2500 troops.

It had NOTHING to do with Trump.

Trump pulled out all but 2500 troops before he evacuated to Mar-a-Lago, and the Taliban quickly and predictably filled the vacuum. That left Biden with the choice of either leaving entirely, per the Doha Agreement, or escalating the war simply to get back to the position we were in before Trump pulled out our troops. Biden had to up the troop level by 3000 just to have enough to cover the evacuation—which Trump and NO EFFIN’ PLAN FOR, WHATSOEVER. He certainly hadn’t left enough troops to enforce any aspect of his own damn agreement.

A comprehensive peace agreement is made of four parts:

Guarantees and enforcement mechanisms that will prevent the use of the soil of Afghanistan by any group or individual against the security of the United States and its allies. (WHAT WAS THIS IMAGINARY ENFORCEMENT MECHANISM? 2500 remaining troops certainly wasn’t an “enforcement mechanism.”)

Guarantees, enforcement mechanisms, and announcement of a timeline for the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Afghanistan. (WE WERE GOING TO ENFORCE OUR OWN DEPARTURE? Part 2 of 4 doesn’t even make sense.)

After the announcement of guarantees for a complete withdrawal of foreign forces and timeline in the presence of international witnesses, and guarantees and the announcement in the presence of international witnesses that Afghan soil will not be used against the security of the United States and its allies, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban will start intra-Afghan negotiations with Afghan sides on March 10, 2020, which corresponds to Rajab 15, 1441 on the Hijri Lunar calendar and Hoot 20, 1398 on the Hijri Solar calendar. (Again, what were the guarantees? Oh, wait, that was The United States making a guarantee, wasn’t it?)

A permanent and comprehensive ceasefire will be an item on the agenda of the intra-Afghan dialogue and negotiations. The participants of intra-Afghan negotiations will discuss the date and modalities of a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire, including joint implementation mechanisms, which will be announced along with the completion and agreement over the future political roadmap of Afghanistan. (Yeah, sure. They’ll talk about “dates and modalities” as the Taliban takes over.)

I kinda like the concept of entering into an agreement with an entity we keep referring to as “the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is not recognized by the United States as a state and is known as the Taliban”, too. But that’s the Trump State Department for you. Maybe we should have made Part 5 a guarantee that they didn’t have their fingers crossed.

Last edited 2 years ago by Greg

Given what Trump left Biden to work with, I think Biden did a damn good job.

No, the Taliban DIDN’T “ quickly and predictably fill the vacuum”. They didn’t do anything until idiot Biden (via fraud) took over. Then, in violation of the agreement, they began taking over Afghanistan. That wasn’t until April; when did Trump leave office?

Idiot Biden could have handled the withdrawal any way he wanted, and that was exactly what he did. He removed the rest of the troops, closed the embassy, abandoned Bagram, allowed 5,000 ISIS terrorists to be released (one of which was the bomber that helped idiot Biden kill 13 Americans) and then try to figure out how to remove the American citizens without any military support.

The massive and embarrassing failure is all due to idiot Biden’s stupidity, incompetence, laziness and disregard for US interests.

Biden INCREASED the troop level from the woefully inadequate 2500 Trump had left, and THAT is a FACT. Trump had no plan for staying, and no plan for an orderly evacuation. In fact, he didn’t even disclose the draw down until late in the game. The Pentagon let that cat out of the bag.

You are a liar. You must believe none of us paid any attention whatsoever to the disgraceful disaster idiot Biden carried out in Afghanistan. He pulled ALL TROOPS out. THEN he had to send more BACK. In no way, form or fashion did he even try to follow Trump’s plan. Just like energy, the border, the economy, COVID and law enforcement, idiot Biden made a specific point of doing the OPPOSITE of anything Trump had in place.

Thus, complete failure. Idiot Biden failure.

One dead, multiple injured after shooting aboard Greyhound in California

Greggie, If the Second Amendment were absolute, dangerously unstable persons would have a guaranteed right to carry loaded firearms anywhere they wished.
This scenerio has happened uncounted times, they were arrested or in the old days just shot. (you have never seen rewards dead or alive it seems)
Having a president say he will not protect and defend the constitution seems like he is breaking an oath and needs to be impeached.
Yes we are not happy about untrained liberals purchasing fire arms we now they are highly unstable. There is zero guarantee of safety in a free world, have all the laws passed thus far helped? Hint only law abiding peaceful citizens obey them and you asswipes only want to make criminal felons out of them.
Peek a boo we see you. We wont be left helpless when Democrats are such tyrants.

If the Second Amendment were absolute, dangerously unstable persons would have a guaranteed right to carry loaded firearms anywhere they wished. Obviously there are agreed-upon exceptions to this right, so it isn’t absolute.

And the Second Amendment allows the restriction of the right to bear arms how? Where does the Constitution state that it can be altered by the opinion of a weak minded left winger?

Good G-d, Comrade Greggie; there are third graders who have more understanding of the U.S. Constitution than you do. You are so entrenched in those like the Commies of Lawfare that you have lost all knowledge of our governing document.

There’s a fundamental difference between people whose opinions are informed by logic, and people whose opinions are not.

Considering logic is not your forte, I would suggest you not indicate that others lack it. You simply have, for years, parroted the opinions of others on the far left. You’re a failure at that, as well. When you can’t explain yourself, or your position, you simply pivot to the blame game.

There is no diminishing your idiocy with the years.

Considering logic is not your forte…

You never rebut any logical arguments with logic. You simply assert those who disagree with you are idiots. That’s become a pattern. Why not have a go at it? Surely you’ve got something

“If the Second Amendment were absolute, dangerously unstable persons would have a guaranteed right to carry loaded firearms anywhere they wished. Obviously there are agreed-upon exceptions to this right, so it isn’t absolute.”

You never rebut any logical arguments with logic. You simply assert those who disagree with you are idiots. That’s become a pattern. Why not have a go at it? Surely you’ve got something

I’m not trying to provide you with a rebuttal. It is not necessary. What is necessary is for you to back up your comments with facts, which apparently, you can’t do. Prove your thesis. But alas and alack, it seems you lack the intellect to do so.

And FYI, I have never called anyone on this blog who disagreed with me an idiot except you. Add liar to your resume, Comrade Idiot.

There’s hardly anyone left here who doesn’t agree with you. It used to be a conservative blog; it has become a Trump blog.

Trump equals free and fair elections, money out of politics, Constitutionality, and due process.

So yeah, it’s a “Trump” blog.

You can call it a traditionally American blog, with American values and American government.

There’s hardly anyone left here who doesn’t agree with you. It used to be a conservative blog; it has become a Trump blog.

I don’t post here to see how many agree with me. Unlike you, who posts here from the very beginning, to promote your Communist mantra. Ironically, it is you who seems to bring Trump into every thread. Not others. YOU.

Your goal seems to be consistently wrong. Congratulations, you’ve reached that goal. You have never been right about anything. And your tactic is always the same; exonerate the Democrats (left) and blame/demonize the Republicans (right). When Obama took office, you blamed every mistake he made on Bush. When Trump took office, you blamed him for everything wrong caused by Obama. Now, you blame Trump for the actions and decisions of Biden, a mentally feeble man who is led around by his caretaker (wife) while Ron Klain makes all the decisions coming out of the Oval Office.

You deal in nothing but lies and fear. But Americans are waking up from the woke mantra that you, and your Communist party (the DNC) constantly push. The beating the Democrat Party will take in November 2022 is going to be record breaking.

There’s hardly anyone left here who doesn’t agree with you. It used to be a conservative blog; it has become a Trump blog.

Your problem is, because of idiot Biden’s complete and disastrous failure in every aspect of his agenda, all your cowardly little liberal buddies have run away to their liberal echo chambers where idiot Biden’s economy is great, there is no raging crime problem, the border is secure and the world is not laughing its ass off at idiot pant-shitting Biden. Maybe you should join them.

No one said there weren’t problems. The fact that there are is why we’re fortunate to have Biden instead of Trump in the White House.

All the problems were created by idiot Biden. With the Taliban advancing on Kabul, there should have been no withdrawal; that was TRUMP’S deal. Trump would have smacked the Taliban down (again) and brought them in line before any withdrawal began.

Like is puppetmaster Obama, idiot Biden just wanted the headlines of “We Got Out!” and didn’t care about American lives… or any others for that matter.

Trump was success and competence, idiot Biden is absolute failure, disaster and incompetence.

Only tyrants think in absolutes.

You’re obscuring the argument with irrational drivel.

The Second Amendment IS.

Trump is defending the Constitution and how we traditionally run our country. You and yours are trying to destroy it.

Irrational drivel? Could it be more obvious?
The President of El Salvador Asks If There’s a “Deliberate Plan” to “Destroy the US From Within”

If the Second Amendment were absolute, dangerously unstable persons would have a guaranteed right to carry loaded firearms anywhere they wished.

They do. If they don’t violate the law, they absolutely do. You want the ability to determine who deserves the right and who doesn’t. Yet, you believe the “right” to an abortion is absolute and even when a full term baby is aborted at the time of birth (MURDER), it should be protected.

If they don’t violate the law, they absolutely do.

This is how we get stories about shooters that the police were warned about repeatedly.

Warned about what? If they break the law, arrest them. What we’ve seen is the police and FBI ignoring THREATS and CRIMES or weak liberal prosecutors and judges just letting violent criminals back into society. Prior restraint is illegal still. You don’t have your totalitarian police state totally in place yet.

Do you think a crack-head pedophile should be denied gun ownership?

No, but your theory that “They have the right until they do something wrong with it” would certainly allow them ownership, wouldn’t it?

What if the crackhead lied on his federal background check to get his gun; should that be prosecuted?

“shall not be infringed”

Just words, I guess.

Only part of the words:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

To make no mention of the fact that “Arms” referred to muzzle-loaded, black powder charged weapons, with a rate of fire of 3 rounds per minute, tops.

Your illogical premise is the framers never expected muzzle loaders to be replaced God , you are a stupid fu€k

Mindless support of Traitor Trump has become a litmus test for stupid.

Take a long, honest look at idiot Biden’s performance and then tell us who the stupid people support. Idiot Biden is the traitor. A corrupt, lying, incompetent, rapist traitor.

Trump did not write the constitution so WTF are you babbling. Dude cut the masks you are wearing down to 2 the combination of vaxx damage and lack of oxygen is far to amusing. Running on brainstem only sheesh.
Look up the Puckle gun of 1718.

Your argument, and your heart in this fight, are slipping.

We can feel it.

Trump showed us who the traitors are. You can’t wage a four-year coup and then say Trump is a traitor.

Yes. You want to destroy and replace the Constitution.

If you get to misinterpret “Arms” then you get to make up meaning for anything you want.

You are a Traitor.

Arms include AR-15s.

Get over it.

To make no mention of the fact that “Arms” referred to muzzle-loaded, black powder charged weapons, with a rate of fire of 3 rounds per minute, tops.

And where, exactly, does it say that, or does any of the framers write that that was the intent? “ARMS” includes cannon. Rockets. Swords. Lances. Cannon with canister and grapeshot. If the intent was a militia to protect against invasion or government tyranny, what good would it be without artillery? That’s the problem with you and the revisionist, activist radicals you leftists want on the Supreme Court; you simply redefine the Constitution in a way that aligns with your radical agenda.

All arms are not equal, and this is the 21st Century, not the 18th.

This doesn’t support your position.

There’s No Amendment That’s Absolute” – Biden Targets Gun Owners, Uses the Debunked Claim 2nd Amendment Banned Cannon Ownership (VIDEO)
Joe Biden immediately attacked law-abiding gun owners and used the debunked claim that the 2nd Amendment banned cannon ownership.
“There’s no Amendment that’s absolute,” Biden said on Thursday, attacking the 2nd Amendment.

“When the amendment was passed … you couldn’t buy a cannon … and so there’s no reason why you should be able to buy certain assault weapons,” said Biden

Now we know why this dolt finished last in his class.

Biden Claims a Glock with a 40-Round Magazine is a “Weapon of War” (VIDEO)

says the moron who said take a double barrel shotgun out on your deck and shoot it into the air.

What occasion does a person need a 40-round magazine for, aside from committing mass murder? Too lazy to reload at the range?

Last edited 2 years ago by Greg

It’s none of your business who needs or wants what or why. How many of those magazines are owned and how many mass murders are they involved in? We’ll wait for your data.

How about if you own a business in a city run by Democrats who encourage BLM/ANTIFA thugs looting and burning businesses? It might take 40 rounds for the fascist terrorists to get the point that THIS business is one that should be left alone.

Why does anyone need to strip police of funds, manpower and capability except to support an increase in crime and misery? Yet, that’s the position your side takes: defund the police, no bail, release dangerous criminals and ignore crime without prosecution. Your party’s position on crime makes every weapon possibly available to the law abiding public a valid possession.

How many 40 round magazines for a Glock has the village idiot seen? greggie, you are as ignorant and demented as much as your idol, the worst president in history. Have you seen the insurrection in Canada? Have you seen that the media is starting to publish accurate data on ivermectin and hydroxyquinol? Have you seen the data that no mask works like we have told you for 2 years? The media is also starting to publish data on the healthy people who are suffering adverse health effects from the COVID jabs? You are always wrong to include your lack of providing lies that you attribute to President Trump. Good thing for you that President Carter prevented family members from shipping dementia family members off to the “funny” farm without a court order. You would no longer be able to play the role of the village idiot.

Why do you need a car?

Can’t walk to work?

Your argument is stupid.

Hey, why didn’t all those violent insurrectionists at the Capitol on Jan. 6th have their ARs and glocks?

Leftists LOVE guns more than anyone else. They want to have them. They want you to not.

Don’t stand on the backs of the dead.

The FBI is responsible for many of the mass murders in the past few years.

He’s right. It’s a weapon of war.

We can defend against a tyrannical government, which is the point.

He finished last WITHOUT class.

Shall not be infringed.

AR-15s are the same as muzzleloaders.

Democrats Are Quietly Building A Gun Registry As A First Step In Gun Ban

comment image

Over the last few years, gun sales have absolutely skyrocketed in the United States. Gun control, a favorite issue of the left should be dead, but it’s not.

Democrats and the Biden administration have been quietly and carefully assembling a gun registry, a clear violation of federal law.

And that’s not even the worst part. Their goal in this is banning guns.

John R. Lott Jr. writes at Real Clear Politics:

Democrats Pushing Gun Registry as Precursor to Gun Ban

Federal law explicitly prohibits the creation of a federal firearm registry, but the Biden administration is making one anyway. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has collected nearly one billion firearm purchase records. The government has now created a searchable digital database containing 866 million of these transactions, including some 54 million made in 2021 alone.

This massive data collection effort encompasses information on all guns sold by licensed gun dealers, and on all legal gun transfers in states with so-called universal background checks. So, federal officials will have the name of everyone who legally obtained a gun. Now, President Biden wants to make universal background checks nationwide so he can have an even more complete registration list.

According to a Rasmussen Reports survey, Democrats support the idea by a 2-1 ratio, while Republicans oppose it by a similar margin. Two-thirds of Republicans believe the policy will lead to gun confiscation, and even 40% of Democrats believe the same. Confiscating legally owned firearms, it seems, is not merely a right-wing conspiracy theory.

Similarly, a recent Gallup poll shows that 40% of Democrats want a complete ban on civilian ownership of handguns. Countries such as Canada, the U.K., and Australia aren’t the only ones to use registration to ban and confiscate guns. California, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. have also used registration to know who legally owned different types of guns before banning them.

This is not a conspiracy theory. This is happening.

Gun registries and gun bans only impact law-abiding citizens.
We don’t need gun control, we need criminal and illegal control!

Totalitarian police states don’t really care about what the law prohibits.
