Okay, I don’t want to be That Guy, but I guess we’re finally done with the “Stealth Jeff” and Q Anon stuff about Jeff Sessions being a double-secret super-agent carrying out Trump’s labyrinthine schemes?
We’re done with that now, right?
Can we accept that most of the time the world is much as the world appears? That there’s not always some Super Secret wheels-within-wheels scheme?

Kinda sad in one way. Sessions was an early Trump supporter and I think he’s a good guy. He’s clearly on the side of law and order and was getting some good stuff done. But he clearly was not the right temperament for the job and obviously trusted his fellow Justice Dep’t people far more than they deserved.His failure to act over and over when it was clear as a leader he should (such as when they were stonewalling congress on documents, defying direct orders from the president, etc) made it obvious the man was not fit for the position at this time.
If we had a good DOJ that had not spent the last 24 years being infected by hard left radicals, he probably would have been the perfect choice. But he either refused or could not see how many people were in his department who were far more interested in leftist power than justice and law.
And so he needed to go.
A sharp observer I know said, “The Democrats looked for Jeff Sessions’ pressure point, his sense of himself as a Gentleman of Honor and Amity, and they used that against him and squeezed it until he was empty of everything except compliance.”
You gotta love how apoplectic the left is over the choice of Whitaker as acting AG and overseer of the Mueller “investigation”. Oh, no! A guy not involved in the ongoing soft coup!
Schumer, as if he has an opinion, demands Whitaker recuse himself, though no one demanded Rosenstein recuse HIMself when it was learned he had been signing the FISA warrants… or asked him why HE didn’t recuse himself, since he was probably aware he signed those warrants.
I think the “investigation” will go on but Whitaker will pressure Mueller to get it wrapped up or report what is found that requires it to continue.
I suppose Rosenstein might be wondering why he wasn’t named acting AG… but probably not. He probably KNOWS why.
Were Jeff a conservative he would not have surrendered to THE UNIPARTY demand that he recurse himself! Jeff is GOP but not conservative!

PT congratulated Pelosi as is tradition when the House changes hands. The demokrats’ response? Multiple threats against POTUS led by Mad Maxine and creepy Schiffhead. This may be Trump’s way of saying the gloves are coming off. Now he is threatening to declassify all those damning documents again and Rosenstein cancelled a Thursday speech he was supposed to give. The best part is he holds all the cards and the coupsters and their co-conspirating demokrats know it and they are terrified because it will expose all of their seditious wrongdoing.
So, Trump replace Sessions, someone that had recused himself from the “investigation”. What’s the big deal? Rosenstein, being the person that signed off on the implementation of illegal surveillance, should not be involved in the “investigation”, so Trump replace him, too.
The left can’t STAND not being in control of the conversation and they just lost it.

Remember when Sessions was the biggest racist on the planet? I like and respect Sessions but he sealed his fate when he recused himself. That pretty much made him useless to Trump. Trump waited until after the midterms to allow the candidates to control the conversations in their own campaigns.
