The House January 6 committee is withdrawing its subpoena of former President Donald Trump as it concludes its work.

“In light of the imminent end of our investigation, the Select Committee can no longer pursue the specific information covered by the subpoena,” Chairman Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, wrote in a letter to Trump’s attorney Wednesday obtained by CNN.

“Therefore, through this letter, I hereby formally withdraw the subpoena issued to former President Trump, and notify you that he is no longer obligated to comply or produce records in response to said subpoena,” Thompson added.

Nothing Democrats do anymore is legitimate.

It was not necessary as the subpoena would have expired with the conclusion of the Congressional period. They withdrew the subpoena because having not done so would have left them with potential exposure. The debate and speech clause would not be a viable defense should President Trump pursue additional legal recourse.

They had absolutely no evidence Trump had ever violated the Law or the U.S. Constitution however Clinton(Bill)Obama and Biden has and the M.S. Media bottom feeders ignore it all and still supported the corrupt Democrat Party

The Woke Cult will continue to think Trump is under subpeona, and guilty of something (without ANY credible evidence).

That’s why they keep inventing such things. For their sheep to eat up and not question why.

Meanwhile, Trump voters are the workers and business owners in this country who actually pay taxes and keep this whole thing running.

But what if “Atlas shrugged?”

When the committee turned their “evidence” over to DOJ to continue the Trump witch hunt, it meant that all their records became “part of an ongoing investigation, and thus confidential.
This subpoena would have been a monkeywrench in those works, so it had to go.

And, Nathan, the gov’t would just have to print more money.
It already is hiring 87,000 new IRS agents (with guns) just to make sure people pay.
