The following timeline proves — beyond a shadow of a doubt — that the Associated Press is working hand-in-hand with the White House and serving as a full-fledged, free marketing arm of the Obama reelection campaign.
Consider the following timeline. On 3 July, Obama Svengali (which is the title he prefers, I hear) David Axelrod tweeted the first of several messages regarding Mitt Romney’s (entirely legal) offshore investments.

While one would expect other Democrat mouthpieces — such as Dee Wasserman Snider — to parrot Axelrod, less expected is the complete sellout by an ostensibly independent press agency.
Democrats want Romney to explain offshore accounts
Mitt Romney privately raised millions of dollars from New York’s elite on Sunday, as Democrats launched coordinated attacks against the likely Republican presidential nominee, intensifying calls for him to explain offshore bank accounts and release several years of tax returns…
… “He’s the first and only candidate for the president of the United States with a Swiss bank account, with tax shelters, with tax avoidance schemes that involve so many foreign countries,” Sen. [Little] Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” He’s one of several high-profile Democrats who spoke out on the Sunday morning news shows.
Of vastly more import for the American people are the following questions the Republicans have been asking since 2008, around which the Associated Press has been curiously silent:
• Why did the Obama 2008 website accept electronic donations from foreign countries? No other campaign — including Hillary Clinton’s and John McCain’s — has everaccepted foreign donations without written evidence that the contributor is a U.S. citizen. It is virtually certain that this practice allowed Obama to launder millions in illegal foreign donations through his website.
• Why did the Obama 2008 and 2012 websites both turn off all credit card security? No other campaign in history has ever disabled rudimentary credit card security checks, because such practices would permit illegal foreign contributions, over-the-limit (structured) contributions, and other criminal practices. Yes, it is virtually assured that the Obama campaigns have laundered millions in illegal contributions through these methods.
• And speaking of offshore, why did Barack Obama list his birthplace as Kenya to market his books? Was it simply to appear more exotic for prospective publishers?
• And as for foreign investments, why was the Obama campaign raising money in France last week? Are all of those contributions being vetted for legality?
• And is Obama hiding his college transcripts because he used foreign-student status to gain admission to prestigious Ivy League schools even though he confessed to being a drugged-out stoner in high school?
Usually I can’t stand Sean Hannity.
But this post brought to mind a bit he used to do (maybe still does, how would I know?)
Sean used to splice together many Dems parroting their talking point du jour.
It got to the point of absurdity pretty quick.
So many different Dems in so many positions of power all saying the exact same phrases.
Some on the floor of the House or Senate, others in front of a camera on TV, still others pretending to be impartial media news people.
The one thing that sticks out the most among so many is that in his book he says that he was born in Kenya now why is the media not talking about that ?????????? What a bunch of loosers the media is and they should all be ashamed of themselves………….And I do love Sean Hannity

Actually, no one can say whether that statement is true, as the Swiss Banks don’t report who has accounts with them.
The only reason Democrats know about Romney’s Swiss bank account is because he disclosed it.
Actually with the shady deals, the Financial debacle that created the housing crash, and mistreatment of customers there are very good reasons why even the average person may want to open a Swiss bank account and secure funds there. Not the least of all that if you travel to Europe, it is quite handy to have money secured and available in a European bank, and the Swiss banking system is the best choice in that region of the world. Banks operating in Switzerland have a Tier 1 capital ratio — and the proportion of capital on reserve is five times as high as it must be for U.S. banks.

But Obama went after foreign banks, threatening them.
They were forced to disclose American’s monies in their systems or else.
So, the numbered Swiss bank account is a thing of the past.
And also American pols must reckon with being slimed by Obama for something PERFECTLY legal!
Obama has demonized ”the rich” because he knows that UNDERNEATH his narrative is the fact that only a rich pol could ever hope to defeat him.
Just as he’s been creating all sorts of false narratives about how this-or-that (valid criticism of him) is ”CODE” for racism, so, too, Obama has created a negative ”code” for his opponent and is working it, baby.
@Richard Wheeler: The question isn’t Kenyan born. It’s the bio Obama’s handlers pushed for over a decade. And that bio brings up questions of honesty within the Obama camp.
Exit question. Can you safely and securely save/store gold in American banks? Would the government ever seize your gold assets? If so, would it not make sense to keep foreign accounts to safeguard YOUR assets?
Have you ever seen the FBI and CIA’s private file on david axilrod. Off shore accouts established by the dnc and a host of others. He has been labeled as a socialist. Oh! REcall he recetnly purchased a $1.7 million condo in Chi. axilrod is worse than a pig..if his files ever become public..worse than human garbage.

Wrong argument, mossomo. Worded dangerously enough for someone to seize upon the idea that the account owner (especially one running for POTUS) has no faith in this nation and it’s economic recovery. And that should be evident by the response made by @Richard Wheeler: “If he becomes Prez will he feel safe bringing it back on shore?”
See how that works?
Thus I say again… wrong argument. Attempt to justify how someone decides to use, invest or bank their wealth, and once more you fall into the trap, as aptly demonstrated by you and rich wheeler. Any explanation will just become another political weapon, used by a leftist politician or big government liberal to distort your personal right of financial management into a moral judgment – or a measure of patriotism. Big government liberals see a high percentage of that money as stolen from the Treasury when it should be used for social justice and redistribution. And Romney is foolish enough to give them what they want – a chance to cast a moral judgment – by mounting a pathetic and apologetic defense.
The right argument? Our nation celebrates success (or used to…) and how the earner chooses to legally invest or bank that wealth is a personal choice. *Anyone… Wasserman-Schultz, Romney, Axelrod… *anyone* regardless of political leanings. Period.
Romney should be telling the nation that not only has he been fortunate enough to have financial success, but that he wants to open the flood gates of opportunity for all Americans to realize that same option/choice for themselves. Or, paraphrased – instead of Hoover’s “a chicken in every pot”, Romney should be pushing an America that presents the opportunity for a Swiss bank account for everyone.
And I will also add that he should be releasing a few years of tax returns. Just because this admin and POTUS is not transparent doesn’t mean that Romney should behave the same way. Especially if you want to make transparency a campaign point. But Romney, who purchased and deleted the Governor’s office hard drives, doesn’t have the high moral ground there either. sigh…

What I have done with my money is perfectly legal. What obama has done with your money, is sent large amounts of it overseas to foreign workers or wasted it on financially shaky “green” companies, several of which just coincidently had connections to his 2008 campaign.
When Bain was hired by foreign investors those foreign investors did NOT bring their money into the USA for their own reasons.
Thus Bain opened many foreign bank accounts for them and Bain to do business.
Bain’s profits from those foreign investments went into foreign bank accounts as well.
Individual owners of Bain got their piece of that money and only moved a portion into US accounts as the law allowed (nine years I think is the time it takes to move all of it).
Romney is doing nothing illegal.
Printing companies in the USA are being forced to buy sub-standard foreign-made paper.
Some big companies set up foreign bank accounts to do this.
We end up with money in those accounts every year.
It is NOT illegal.
In fact, if Obama would leave American paper makers alone and stop raising the cost of their paper production here, we wouldn’t do it at all!
American made paper is far, FAR superior to what we can get offshore.
@Richard Wheeler: I think the point that needs to be made here is that it is “his” billions and therefore “his” business. I am much more interested in what 0-bama did with “my” tax dollars. Did he spend or invest them wisely? What is the ROI on my investment? I am willing to bet 0-bama and his administration can not give a good account of the $830 billion wasted. What we do know is not very good. Solyndra is only one example of poor investments. I would also like to know how many billions that went to GM and others will filter back into the Democrat Party Campaign fund. I find it more that hard to believe this will not happen.

No one is going to tell me that FDR and the Kennedys didnt have Swiss Bank Accounts. Joe Kennedy especially had to hide all his ill gotten money from mobsters for his bootleg liquor sales and what better way to launder it than to send it offshore.
