It’s Finally Time for GOP Lawmakers to Expose the Dark Side of the Disney Regime Once and For All

Loading

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just struck a heroic blow against Disney with the recent passage of a bill that would dissolve Disney’s de facto private government and threaten the numerous tax perks that go along with it:

The Florida House of Representatives on Thursday gave final passage to a bill that would dissolve Walt Disney World’s private government, handing Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis a victory in his feud with the entertainment giant over its opposition to a measure that critics have dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law.

…For DeSantis, the attack on Disney is his latest salvo in a culture war waged over policies such as race, gender and the coronavirus, battles that have turned him into one of the most popular GOP politicians in the country and a likely 2024 presidential candidate. [AP]

Many Americans might be surprised to learn that Disney’s war against DeSantis’ anti-groomer law exists within a context of a long history of questionable conduct on the part of the company. Few these days remember that “Clinton Cash” author Peter Schweizer wrote a bombshell investigative exposé in 1999 on Walt Disney World called “Disney: The Mouse Betrayed.”

The explosive book caught the eye of Brian Ross, ABC’s top investigative reporter. He landed an exclusive contract with the publisher of the book and quickly began working with Schweizer on a piece for the news show 20/20.

Schweizer’s book alleged very serious safety and hiring problems at Florida’s Walt Disney World, and also centered on mass corruption, greed, and children at risk.

The 20/20 piece focused on the book’s claim that Walt Disney World neglected to perform proper security checks that would have prevented the hiring of sex offenders, as well as allegations that the park had a serious “peeping Tom” problem.

And as you’d expect from Schweizer’s work, the book included copies of police reports from alleged pedophiles who were working at the park.

David Westin was the president of ABC News and when he got wind of the Disney exposé, he quickly killed the project.

Many speculated he axed the piece because Walt Disney Co. owned ABC. However, ABC spokeswoman Eileen Murphy denied those claims, and said the story just “didn’t work,” and it had nothing to do with Disney.

Nobody believed that excuse.

Network staffers claim when Westin read the bombshell script for the 20/20 segment he blew up and asked everyone involved with the project if they were “crazy.” He couldn’t believe they’d think of airing a hit piece like that about their parent company, Disney.

Author Peter Schweizer, desperate to save the story, went back and watered down the script and resubmitted it, but Westin still refused to air the segment.

In its place, 20/20 ran a story about dogs on Prozac.

The interesting thing is that ABC hadn’t shied away from running pieces on Disney in the past. Back in March 1998, they ran a so-called “hit piece” on Disney (among other US companies) who were hiring workers from a Pacific island and paying them very low wages.

So, low wages for Pacific islanders were okay to talk about, just don’t mention alleged pedophiles and peeping Toms who were potentially endangering American children.

Got it…

Later, Schweizer tried shopping the script to “60 Minutes” but they passed on it as well.

That’s not surprising, since Disney has a reputation for closely guarding its dark side. It’s difficult to find gripping mainstream content exposing Disney’s alleged child predator problem or abuse allegations from former child actors.

I stumbled upon a 2014 piece from CNN that was actually quite good. They embarked on a 6-month undercover operation exposing child sex predators working at theme parks like Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World, in Florida.

CNN’s report found that from 2006 to 2014, at least 35 Disney workers were arrested for sex crimes against children, or for possession of child pornography. There were three or four from Universal and Sea World arrested as well — 32 men were convicted.

Here’s the CNN piece if you want to watch it.

Sadly, stories like this are nothing new.

Sixteen years earlier Peter Schweizer and Brian Ross tried telling that same story on 20/20, by calling out Disney’s unsafe hiring practices that allowed child predators to get their foot in the park door, but they got steamrolled.

And here we are in 2022 and it appears that Disney is still hiring child predators.

Year after year, Disney employees are arrested in sex sting operations set up by local authorities and for possessing child pornography. And it’s not just random maintenance workers with no interaction with kids who are being arrested. Many of these alleged child predators are security guards, hotel staff, performers, and other workers who come in close contact with children every day.

In September 2021 a family sued Disney Cruise Line because they say their 3-year-old was groped and sexually molested during her stay at the Oceaneer Club Daycare.

In August 2021 they arrested several Disney employees in a “child sex sting” operated by the Polk County Sheriff. One man arrested was a lifeguard at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge.

And just days after the Disney Regime came out against Florida’s anti-grooming law, police arrested four of their employees in a child trafficking sting.

[the_ad id=”157875″]

But it’s not just the parks.

In June 2021, police charged former Disney Star Kyle Massey with sending pornography to a 13-year-old.

And just look at the laundry list of former Disney stars who’ve become dregs of humanity at worst and disheveled disasters at best — Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Demi Lovato, just to name a few.

So, what’s going on here? There is every appearance of a pattern of documented abuse and predatory behavior that has gone on for decades at Disney’s theme parks, cruise ships, and within their entertainment empire as well.

If this was happening at Walmart, people would be out in the streets with pitchforks and torches demanding justice. But because it’s “beloved” Disney, many are hesitant to shatter the “magical” illusion. It’s like finding out Santa Claus is a serial killer.

Sure, it sucks, but we can’t keep burying our heads in the sand.

Let’s be real, this isn’t Walt’s “Disney” anymore, and it hasn’t been for a long time. Walt was a patriot and a family man who fought tooth and nail against communism. I imagine him spinning in his grave over this “progressive” abomination his company has morphed into.

And the reason the alleged abuse has gone on for decades is that Disney’s secrets are well kept. And whatever stories do leak out are piecemeal and scattered to the wind. A local news story here, a random blog post there, and so forth.

All we’ve got are whispers and grumblings when what we need are bullhorns and loudspeakers blasting the truth about what’s really happening inside the “happiest place on earth.”

In the past weeks, we have seen that Disney’s leadership is steeped in sexual deviancy, and not just on a personal level, but at an activist level. They want to PROMOTE the deviancy and protect it. When the Parent’s Rights in Education Bill was proposed, most on the left falsely characterized it as banning people from saying “gay”. Of course, they can’t come right out and and say the real reason they oppose a law that protects young children from being groomed for sexual abuse in public schools by teachers. That wouldn’t be too popular.

Their list of Disney notables left off Miley Cyrus. They don’t get much more degenerate than her.

biden thinks when kids go to school the teachers own them, what a moron. The parents are the ultimate guardian of their children, not groomer teachers.

Ron DeSantis is an idiot. The fool signs a moronic bill without even investigating the financial implications for Florida taxpayers. Disney says Florida would have to pay nearly $1 billion to dissolve special district

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

There are no implications for Florida’s taxpayers. Fool

We need a National Parental Rights Bill

There are zero tax implications for Florida residents fool.

We need a National Parental Rights Bill.

There are zero tax implications for Florida residents fool.

There are ENORMOUS tax implications. Florida would become legally liable for the resultant debt. So, they’ve now made a bill law that they’re scratching their heads over, wondering WTF have we just done?

Wrong

As if your word “wrong” changes anything.

Attorney says Disney’s right: State has to pay off debt before it can dissolve Reedy Creek

Last week, like the petty tyrant he is, Florida governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill dissolving Walt Disney World’s special district status, as retribution for the company’s decision to speak out against his bigoted “Don’t Say Gay” law. Set to go into effect next June, the move abolishes Disney’s self-governing jurisdiction, the Reedy Creek Improvement District, and no longer allows it to effectively run its own city in and around the theme park. That means the counties of Orange and Osceola would be required to pay for services like firefighting, which Disney currently covers, and would be on the hook for Reedy Creek’s roughly $1 billion in outstanding bond debt. In other words, DeSantis’s act of revenge would not only punish a private company for condemning his anti-LGBTQ+ law, it would likely punish Florida residents too, who could see their taxes going up. Which is a pretty wild thing for a governor to do, particularly one from a party that talks a big game about “cutting taxes” and “free speech.” But all of this might be moot anyway, because Disney apparently knows Florida’s laws better than DeSantis and has said that actually, the Trump wannabe can’t do jack unless he pay

In a statement to its bondholders, reported by CNN, the Reedy Creek Improvement District pointed out that the 1967 state law establishing Disney’s special district states that Florida “will not in any way impair the rights or remedies of the holders…until all such bonds together with interest thereon, and all costs and expenses in connection with any act or proceeding by or on behalf of such holders, are fully met and discharged.” In other words, DeSantis’s attempt to dissolve the district is illegal unless he coughs up $1 billion first and because of that, Reedy Creek told bondholders, it’s not going anywhere.

“In light of the State of Florida’s pledge to the District’s bondholders, Reedy Creek expects to explore its options while continuing its present operations, including levying and collecting its ad valorem taxes and collecting its utility revenues, paying debt service on its ad valorem tax bonds and utility revenue bonds, complying with its bond covenants and operating and maintaining its properties,” the district wrote in the statement.

Last week, amidst DeSantis’s petty act of retribution, Orange County tax collector Scott Randolph told The Washington Post, “Orange County is going to be stuck with $164 million or more per year in expenses with no revenue. So they’re going to have to raise property taxes. This is a huge tax increase on the citizens of Orange County that they’ll have to pay every single year.” Florida state representative Carlos Smith, also noted that, if dissolved, the hundreds of people who work for Reedy Creek—who are presumably Florida residents—will lose their jobs. Which is apparently fine with the governor, who reportedly has his sights set on the White House in 2024 and thinks operating like a dictator will appeal to the base, or at the very least, keep him in regular rotation on Fox News. “If Disney wants to pick a fight, they chose the wrong guy,” DeSantis wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Wednesday last week. “I will not allow a woke corporation based in California to run our state.”

But apparently that “woke corporation” won’t be surrendering so easily!

When is a state obligated to pay a corporations “bond” or debt?

As if your word “wrong” changes anything.

But it was so effective when Trump did it during the debate!

75 million legal votes? Very effective.

He’s retained over half the country too, so…while Biden destroys the country, the facts remain the facts.

It will still happen.

Wrong again

fake news

Does joe have an economic plan to get America out of the malaise?

He’s going to see if the Tooth Fairy has any ideas.

Vanity Fair?

Dismissed.

Disney WILL abide by Florida State Law, or their executives will face criminal charges. They are not special.

1 Billion is a small price to pay to pluck the parasite that is groomer Disney from the Sunshine State.

It will happen, easily.

Yep. Disney could relocate and take their tourist revenue with them. Florida could become America’s nursing home, dependent on the Social Security jet set.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Sure they will, just disassemble everything and ship it where? Where is it property tax doesnt exist?

You dismiss all sources if they’re not suggested by one of your buddies here. Please share one media source you consider to be unimpeachable, just so I can see where you’re coming from.

You dismiss all sources if they’re not suggested by one of your buddies here.

That’s your bigotry talking, son. What people do and what you’ve been indoctrinated to think they do are not the same.

You and greg cling to merely supporting “media sources” as authoritative. That’s the 20th Century, the Blue Church, and we’ve gone past that.

Vanity Fair is a Democrat Propaganda outlet, so they cannot be trusted to report actual news.

Florida will have to pay off debt. That’s being framed as if they are not going to move forward, and mischaracterized as some punishment on the citizens of Florida.

Think. Don’t let bought propaganda outlets do it for you. They don’t have your interests in mind.

The courts will determine what the law requires of the state and of Disney Corp, not Ron DeSantis.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

They go to court against the law makers, what a drooler you are.

You really don’t understand how things work, do you? The courts decide how the law applies, not the legislature. Laws cannot be retroactively changed. The arrangement the state has with Disney Corp was legally established years ago. This can be change prospectively, but obligations and commitments of the past can’t retroactively undone.

DeSantis was elected governor by a margin of 0.4%. This sort of fiscal b.s. isn’t going to make him more popular with Florida voters.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

I dont think they are asking Disney to pay back taxes. Just those going forward. Any bonds or loans taken out by Disney Corporation are their responsibility. Even if they shut down they still own the land and have to pay the taxes.

The courts will determine what the law requires of the state and of Disney Corp,

Indeed, we are reminding YOU of that.

It sounds like Disney has forgotten who the elected government is and who the pedophile-protecting parasites are.

Florida’s elected government cannot nullify lawful debts or obligations with a magic fairy wand. If they do, their credibility won’t be worth squat.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Florida’s elected government cannot nullify lawful debts or obligations with a magic fairy wand.

No one but you is saying that.

Disney, and others, never should haven enjoyed such status so this is something that needs to be done anyway.

Add to the nazi-like behavior they’ve engaged in with internal trans tribunals, it’s questionable if they should even be allowed to exist, at this point.

This ends now. Of course regular governance from those two counties needs to resume. It will, easily. The “it will cost Floridians 1 Billions” is idiotic.

Apparently DeSantis knows how to come up with the billion dollars his stunt will cost Florida. The courts won’t find the debt obligations involved idiotic. So say the lawyers.
I suppose he can always tax the hell out of retirees.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Apparently you don’t know how budgets and taxes work, but you do seem to enjoy Biden spending, spending, spending our money on hidden things, printing more money to support a war he helped cause.

You really should knock off the pedophile crap. It’s slander.

The Ukrainians are patriots in word and deed. You do not compare favorably. You’re a traitor to your own nation.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Fuck Ukraine.

Not one penny of American taxpayer money to fund bidens war

Yeah, you can stop that. I’ll be interested in hearing your plan.

It is a supplemental. Has to be voted on

fu€k Ukraine

it is a European problem not our problem

Last edited 1 year ago by TrumpWon

Unfortunately for you, most elected republicans KNOW what will happen if Putin isn’t stopped.

Most Republicans, and us, have been warning you of this for two decades.

Own it. You and your Party caused this war, and killed thousands of Ukrainians in the process.

And Putin isn’t being “stopped.” He’s winning. It’s like you WANT him to light off a nuke.

You and your war mongering friends want everyone to think Putin wants to conquer the world.

nothing but fear mongoring

PUTIN launched the invasion. PUTIN went to someone else’s country and began wholesale slaughter of old people, of women and children. Rape and looting are apparently part of his plan. PUTIN has more countries on his list. PUTIN is threatening nuclear war. Do you think this is “false news”?

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

NO.

The situation was caused by an installed Biden and the Euro-trash who installed him.

You can’t spin that, ace.

Biden threatened his own people with nukes, remember?

Just shut the f*ck up. NO ONE is going forget or forgive any increasing wars from who’s responsible: the NWO, Great Reset, Davos crowd and the politicians they installed in our country.

The blood is on Biden’s hands.

Guess that “10%” had some hidden fees, like dead Ukrainian children and women.

Last edited 1 year ago by Nathan Blue

You claim Putin’s invasion never would’ve happened with Trump—while you and the rest of Trump’s motley mob simultaneously assert nothing should be done to stop the son of a bitch. How irrational is it to think these two ideas are somehow compatible?

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

I don’t claim, I point out the fact:

PUTIN’S INVASION DID NOT HAPPEN WITH TRUMP.

It happened with Biden.

How stupid can you be?

I agree with Obama that the world should be post-colonial and America should not police.

That means we let Europe fight him, and they don’t get a CENT of our money to do it.

Perhaps the WEF will stop planning the future for people who didn’t elect them, then?

Plan? By what right to you require America to have any “plan” at all?

Europe has been using us to fight their wars, saving money on defense while we police for them. Covid and a rigged election came after Trump told NATO to pay their fair share.

Congress will authorize the assistance to Ukraine with a bipartisan majority vote. That’s what’s going to happen.

Unless they can rig their elections in November, they might want to think twice before signing that bill.

The Ukrainians are ONE people among many on planet earth. They do not have the history of fighting for Freedom or promoting human rights like the US and others do.

Biden is a traitor, printing money to fight a war he caused.

This is Europe’s war. Let them pay for it.

We have a border problem that is more important to America

You really should knock off the pedophile crap. It’s slander.

You made your drag queen story hour dress…

…now wear it. Disney is grooming children to assume a sexually deviant life to affirm and artificially inflate the numbers of those who have a psychological disorder. It’s leading to real pedophilia, from Biden sniffing kids (on camera) to his son and Epstein Island with underage girls (also proven), to all the pedophilia and child porn found in Leftist organizations like the Lincoln.

Slander doesn’t have mountains of evidence, groomer. Leave our kids alone.

Last edited 1 year ago by Nathan Blue

What slander please be more clear

As a Democrat, greg knows a lot about slander and libel…and how the laws against it are almost non-existent.

Wapo and CNN might disagree they have a Catholic kid set for life.
Another is about to reap rewards for the assholes trying him and not knowing Wisconsin gun laws.

I’m failing to find any so-called “right wing” new agencies that paid out 250 million to a kid for slander. (or is it libel?)

Slander is spoken libel is written or published, CNN did both Wapo created deceptive footage from videos taken. I was smirking when they both paid out the nose.

Ron DeSantis is an idiot.

You may disagree with him, but he is certainly not an idiot. You impugn your own credibility when you write stuff like that.

*plucked from your sock puppet*

DeSantis signed his hastily-put-together bogus legislation targeting the state’s biggest employer and greatest tourist attraction, but nothing seems to be happening. Because—damn!—it”s gonna cost Florida a bundle. This is stupid.

It’s probably gonna cost him his next election. So, he’ll try for the presidency.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

How much is property tax on 20 sqare miles of developed florida land? and thats only the developed part they own 39 square miles. Then the fees and hotel taxes and permits.

“Regarding Disney World: “Its theme park mega-resort near Orlando attracts around 50 million visitors a year, powering a Central Florida tourism economy that annually generates more than $5 billion in local and state tax revenue.”

So there’s that. Not to mention the services it provides to Orange and Oceola Counties. PLUS the debt that the state would have to settle to dissolve the special district.

This, because they spoke out against DeSantis’s anti-gay legislation. There, I guess, is your “freedom of speech” value in action.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

And it still will, Trump measley 17acres (an acre is smaller than a mile) paid 1.48 million in 2019
640 acres in a square mile.
Disney did not have to step into the parental rights legislation bowing to a tiny minority of their employees.

Last edited 1 year ago by kitt

DeSantis has hopped on the pedophilia bandwagon. As previously noted, the handful of perverts cited are in no way representative of a corporation that employs 190,000 people. Those few have been charged and convicted, which is how you deal with such people. This is just an extension of the far-right’s Pizzagate absurdity. Unfortunately for Florida, his posturing is going to have serious financial repercussions.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

The 1967 law that established Disney’s special district states:

“Unless otherwise provided by law, the dissolution of a special district government shall transfer title to all of its property to the local general purpose government, which shall also assume all indebtedness of the preexisting special district.”

Specifically, the statement notes that “In the Reedy Creek Act the State of Florida has pledged to the holders of any bonds issued by the District: (1) that it will not limit or alter the rights of the District … until all such bonds together with interest thereon, and all costs and expenses in connection with any act or proceeding by or on behalf of such holders, are fully met and discharged.”

“With this law (the law DeSantis just signed), the state of Florida has eliminated the government entity that backed the various bonds while violating its own explicit promise not to do so,” Schumer said. “It is hard to imagine a way that the state could successfully argue that this did not violate its own contractual obligations or unconstitutionally impair the contract between Reedy Creek and the bondholders.”

Did Florida republicans or DeSantis not confer with legal counsel before they passed and signed this legislation? If so, they need new legal advisors. If they didn’t, they really are idiots.

04/28/22 – Rating agency warns Disney debt conflict could ‘weaken’ other Florida government bonds

Reedy Creek Improvement District holds nearly $1 billion in bond debt and last week Fitch issued a “negative watch” because of the uncertainty around how that debt will be paid and by whom.

Something tells me this “idea” has been in the works for a long time and most politicians are also lawyers.

DeSantis cannot wave a magic wand and nullify a contractual arrangement the state entered into over half a century ago. He doesn’t have that power. Nor will calling calling the Disney Corporation Satan-worshiping pedophiles carry much weight with the courts—unless the corporation sues him for libel, and he’s called upon to PROVE his bullshit.

“Unless otherwise provided by law, the dissolution of a special district government shall transfer title to all of its property to the local general purpose government, which shall also assume all indebtedness of the preexisting special district.”

DeSantis cannot wave a magic wand and nullify a contractual arrangement the state entered into over half a century ago

No one is saying that’s the case…except you.

DeSantis will easily figure out how to re-institute Florida governance into this area, which is what this about, not how you are distorting it to be.

“Unless otherwise provided by law, the dissolution of a special district government shall transfer title to all of its property to the local general purpose government, which shall also assume all indebtedness of the preexisting special district.”

That was assumed from the start.

Did Florida republicans or DeSantis not confer with legal counsel before they passed and signed this legislation? If so, they need new legal advisors. If they didn’t, they really are idiots.

Given the usual spin and lies from the Leftist media, I’ll wait to see the truth in this from legal experts…not on the Democrat take.

Again, no problem. Disney will pay for grooming children and pushing a religion. Play stupid games, get stupid prizes.

pushing a religion

Which religion is that?

Atheism.

Michael will never comment on this…

If Disney is pushing Prismatism, it’s doing a piss-poor job of it. I’ve never even heard of Prismatism until viewing that video.

(As an aside, I don’t know the tenets of Prismatism, but I’m guessing that, since it’s a religion, it’s no more idiotic than Christianity, Islam, and so on.)

Michael will never comment on this…

Wrong again.

Last edited 1 year ago by Michael

Atheism is, of course, the most idiotic religion of all.

My dog is an atheist.Makes sense why want people acting like monkeys.

Make sure you thanks Christianity for your morals, ethics, and belief in tolerance.

I’ve never denied that I’m affected by Christianity. It’s all around me. I’ve just never taken the whole shlong up my rear, the way you have.

It’s the reason you’ve lived the life of prosperity and privilege that you have.

Pro Tip: Gays don’t last long in atheist dictatorships, so be careful what you wish for.

Disney doesn’t push atheism. I wish it did.

 I wish it did.

I bet you do.

Wokeism, and what Disney pushes, is atheism by any other name.

So we’re clear, Disney and Wokesters in general are pushing their own version of “A Handmaid’s Tale” on the rest of us.

Ron DeSantis put political posturing ahead of the good of the state he governs. He had no plan beyond that.

Not even close. It’s in his right, and his constituents support it.

This unelected, Cult-ish religion of Woke needs to live like all the other religions in the US: not forcing itself on others.

DeSantis’s “plan” to pay off all of Reedy Creek’s obligations and pick up the tab for services Disney provides is like Trump’s secret plan to provide health insurance that was better and cheaper than the Affordable Care Act, would be available to everyone, and was ready to roll out: nonexistent.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Hahaha. TRUMP?

Trump’s achievements as President are vast…epic, even. He BROKE the ACA by removing the mandate, which is one of the reasons I voted for him.

Promise made, promise kept. It’s a fact. Healthcare isn’t important, it’s something Democrats can use by exploiting poor people by promising more free shit (but never quite delivering).

As for DeSantis and Disney, there is no equivalency. The citizens of Florida are in NOT obligation to be held hostage by a mega-corporation, and are simply reminding Disney why they exist in the first place.

04/29/22 – Ron DeSantis vows ‘additional legislative action’ to dissolve Disney’s self-governing district

In his escalating feud with Disney, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday night “additional legislative action” is coming to undo the company’s special tax district.

He said the legislature will address the legality and any potential tax fallout from the state’s recent move to erase Disney’s self-governing status. DeSantis spoke during a “town hall” from Orlando hosted by Laura Ingraham on Fox News.

Because–damn–we didn’t think about any of that. But we plan to have a plan to deal with it!

“There’s going to be additional legislative action,” said DeSantis. “We’ve contemplated that. We know what we’re going to do, so stay tuned. That’ll all be apparent.”

We know what we’re going to do! Watch this space!

“If it’s true that the repeal of the special district would hand Disney a tax break, and the local taxpayers would be on the hook for this bailout to benefit Disney… then why would Disney oppose repealing their special district?” DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw tweeted on Thursday.

Possibly, Barbie, because your IDIOT BOSS is suddenly overturning the foundation that they’ve based their Florida business model on for over 50 years, while simultaneously accusing them of being a corporate sponsor of pedophilia?

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Thats not true, the article accuses them of really poor hiring practices. Points out proven cases of employees attacking children. Self governing poorly, caving to a sexually deviant minority. You might not have questions why the once adorable disney girls have become stage sluts of the most disgusting kind we do.

The article is a load of rubbish.

Why? Why is it a load of rubbish?

Because it’s a politically motivated smear, based on a handful of employees out of somewhere around 190,000. It depicts a very few as a reflection of the many; as an indication of systemic negligence, indifference, and faulty hiring practices, when a few such people will always turn up in any very large organization where contact with children is involved. They’re often very good at going undetected for a time. They would have to be, wouldn’t they?

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

They shipped an offender out of the country so he couldnt be prosecuted after an attack on a cruiseline. I hope he doesnt begin attacking children there. Was that company policy?

Perhaps you should re-inform yourself of why DeSantis is taking and has taken the action he has. There is a bigger picture that eludes your comprehension

DeSantis was looking to score political points before the 2022 election with legislation that wouldn’t take effect until 2023, by which time he would be readying himself for his 2024 presidential bid. That’s the bigger picture.

Well, one thing we know is that Disney nor the media ever misrepresents legislation. Right?

You thought he had a plan?

07/12/22 – No plans announced to replace government services when special district dissolves in June 2023

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Less than 11 months before the Reedy Creek Improvement District is scheduled to be abolished, there are still no announced plans to replace any of the governmental services the special taxing district currently provides to the Walt Disney World resort property.

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill in April that dissolves the Reedy Creek Improvement District, or RCID, on June 1, 2023.

RCID, which has similar responsibilities as a county government, provides services such as fire protection, emergency medical services, trash collection, water, sewer, electricity, and road maintenance to about 25,000 acres of property in Orange and Osceola counties. Disney is the primary landowner.

“They do have services. Utilities. We’re going to take care of that,” DeSantis said before signing the bill on April 22. “Don’t worry. We have everything thought out.” …
