Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Our troops wear high heels, we celebrate deviancy, value emotion over rationality. We are teaching our children how to have anal sex while decrying the culture that has created the greatest advances in human history, and then wonder why buildings and bridges fall down, our college graduates can’t find America on a map, our political class is a dangerous embarrassment, we are destroying modern life’s advantages in favor of returning to a pre-industrial world, all in service to a nonsensical pseudo-scientific crusade against some mythical warming trend.

Is it any surprise that Western culture is rapidly devolving into a caricature of itself? 80 years ago Alan Turing and a few others broke the Nazi Enigma code, and they kept that secret to the Allies’ great advantage for the next four years of World War II. But today?

BUS STOP DIPLOMACY Top secret Ministry of Defence documents on HMS Defender & British military found at BUS STOP after Black Sea stand-off

TOP secret MOD documents containing details about HMS Defender and the UK military were found at a BUS STOP in an embarrassing blunder.The explosive papers were found in a “soggy heap” behind the bus stop in Kent on Tuesday morning, a day before Defender was involved in a stand-off with Russian boats in the Black Sea, a report says.

40 years ago the pope spoke forcefully and unequivocally against the monstrous evil of Soviet communism. John Paul II understood how totalitarianism destroys the human soul as it shrinks free will and freedom, and he wasn’t afraid of the consequences. But today?

Vatican Foreign Minister to Epoch Times: Church Has No Positive Contribution to Make in Hong Kong

Since the renewal of the Sino-Vatican Deal last October, Pope Francis—who has been extremely outspoken on other human rights and ecological crises—has been silent on China and Hong Kong. The Chinese Communist Party’s brutality and human rights violations, both in mainland China and in Hong Kong, have caused world leaders—such as former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo—to call for the Vatican to end its “preliminary” deal with China.

Is there a greater evil on earth? According to the dissolute West? Plastic straws and incorrect pronouns and mean tweets are worse than the systematic destruction of freedom and autonomy in Hong Kong. That the Vatican is leading the capitulation to China is particularly vile, since China is particularly aggressive in its attacks on religion.

Within your own home (in the vast majority of cases) you don’t have adversaries. You can let your guard down, leave valuables laying around, sit around in your underwear and trust everyone.

Outside, however, it is a bit of a different situation. You don’t know everyone. You can’t trust everyone. There are some out there that want what you have and would take it if given the chance. Out in the real world, you have to be on your toes.

This is the world today. Maybe it would be nice not to have to have a military with awesome destructive power. Maybe it would be nice to now worry about who comes into our country. Maybe it would be nice to lay all we have out for the taking, knowing no one would take it all. But that’s not the case. That’s not reality.

Russia is out there. China is out there. Iran is out there. N. Korea is out there. Islamic terrorism is out there. Even within our own borders, crime is out there. Racism is out there. Marxism is out there. It’s no time or condition to turn into a nation of pussies.

Or a nation of Democrats, but I already said that.

Our troops wear high heels, we celebrate deviancy, value emotion over rationality.” If that’s how things look, maybe you need consider where you’re standing and what you’re being told to look at.

If you don’t get the validity of the overall point of the article, then perhaps “maybe you need consider where you’re standing and what you’re being told to look at.”

One is tempted to wonder how.much the CCP contributed to Vatican coffers to purchase the Pope’s strange “silence”. But then this “Pope” was a known leftist radical long before his elevation to the Papacy. In times such as these I am glad I was not raised Catholic. Very glad!

Amazing how the wokest among us so easily accept the oppression, torture and murder of the CCP.
