For over a month the liberal media have been in an impeachment frenzy, as they insisted the only way to save the Republic was to remove the “outlaw” President as they compared him to dictators like Joseph Stalin and likened his aides to “Hitler appeasers.” Then it ended in a fizzle.
As it became apparent that Trump would be acquitted they whined it was a “cover-up” and called it a “scary” and “sad moment” for democracy, reminiscent of “Jim Crow.”
Lefty hosts and correspondents also asserted the only reason Donald Trump is still hanging onto his job is because his supporters are a bunch of “low-information” “boomer rubes” who believe in “fairy tales” like the Bible.
Celebrities threw tantrums too. Actor Robert DeNiro called Trump a “low-life,” film director Ron Howard labeled him a “morally bankrupt ego maniac” and singer Linda Ronstadt asserted that Trump was “like Hitler, and Mexicans are going to be the new Jews.”
The following are just a few of the most obnoxious outbursts from the liberal media’s coverage of the impeachment process, over the last month:
Impeachment Acquittal Like “Jim Crow,” “Sad Moment” for Democracy
“As somebody who grew up with a father who grew up in the Jim Crow south and in Jim Crow Detroit, a lot of what this has looked like from the Republican side, the kind of imagining and the farcical nature of this, the lack of good faith argument sounds very familiar to me and it’s – it’s actually quite scary. We’re going to shut down voting in a state.’ This is literally the kind of thing he will do now. We’re not talking hypotheticals anymore…I don’t understand how anyone cannot be terrified, not just angry, but literally terrified about what the future’s gonna bring.”
