He delivered a swift kick to the nuts Hollywood not only deserved but needed. Hollywood’s behavior at the awards, however, showed they aren’t smart enough to learn anything they don’t want to learn.

I went to get my mother-in-law’s Christmas tree for storage and she was watching one of those hausfrau afternoon shows. This provided me with some insight into the liberal mind and its isolation from reality. They spent the show discussing how to solve the world’s problems by producing posters with good thoughts on them and promoting “just being nice to each other”. They have no idea how, A), their own ideology REJECTS this notion in its entirety and, B), this doesn’t work on people intent on taking what you have, including your life. But, they believe good thoughts will bring everyone around to their world view (and death to you if it doesn’t).

No, Gervais’ message was dead on and much needed but, alas, if feel on deaf ears and dumb minds. Only liberals were there.

Some of used to watch just to see the latest fashion and beautiful gowns, That ceased years and years ago. No longer the beautiful people its a freakshow, just not interested when there are no elephants dancing in the next tent.
Oh WaPo said no one cared about this opening monologue increasing the hits.

Did you hear what Hollywood Airhead George Lopez had said about Iran outlaw government offering a Reward on Trump? Lopez needs lesson from Gervais about their own liberal democratic arrogance

OMG…this was incredible.

No Leftist trolls posting on these threads, are there…lol

@Nathan Blue:

Then there was the speech of Michelle Williams:

“I’m also grateful to have lived at a moment in our society where choice exists because as women and as girls, things can happen to our bodies that are not our choice. I’ve tried my very best to live a life of my own making and not just a series of events that happened to me, but one that I can stand back and look at and recognize my handwriting all over — sometimes messy and scrawling, sometimes careful and precise, but one that I carved with my own hand. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without employing a woman’s right to choose. To choose when to have my children and with whom.”

She could have cut it down considerable by simply saying “My kid will never be able to get one of these crappy statues because I had it murdered before it had a chance to be born so I could try to get one of these crappy statues.”

@retire05: Or, “I’m grateful to live a life of irresponsibility and never having to be responsible for my irresponsibility. Shut up, Ricky, what do you know?”

@Deplorable Me: I would like to have seen a twisted scene from the movie Carrie, not a bucket of blood but condoms and BC packs dumped on her head. Shouting out your abortion is soooo 5 minutes ago.

@retire05:

Aptly put. It begs the ask some bigger questions, about what we as both Americans and modern humans value, and what our lives are about.
