This poor immigrant. Comes to the US via marriage to her brother, gets elected to Congress and now is enriching herself with campaign donations all while wailing about how terrible this country is.
Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s total campaign payments to her husband’s consulting firm now exceed seven figures after reporting additional funds paid to the company in the second quarter of 2020.
Omar’s campaign reported payments totaling $228,000 to E Street Group, the consulting firm run by her husband, Tim Mynett, in a filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) released Tuesday, bringing her total payments to the company to more than $1.1 million since August 2018.
Omar’s campaign spending with E Street Group in the second quarter of 2020 accounted for about 44% of its total expenditures, according to the Washington Free Beacon, which first reported the FEC filing Wednesday.
Omar has faced considerable scrutiny over her payments to Mynett’s firm since August 2019, when it was first reported that she was allegedly having an affair with the consultant while both were still married to other people.
The congresswoman continued paying Mynett’s firm for consulting services despite receiving an FEC complaint by the conservative National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC), which argued that the payments were being used illegally to further their affair.

Over 1/2 of all their campaign contributions have found their way right into Ilhan’s own purse via boyfriend/hubby.
Meanwhile her district is looking more and more like Mogadishu, Somalia where she came from.
Their tax base is disappearing as people in business go elsewhere or go broke.
Their working class is out-of-work.
And their police are so dispirited that local Muslim morality police have been allowed (by default) to take over the streets enforcing their own brand of Islam on one and all, Muslim or not.
If she’s re-elected they deserve every bit of Sharia they must live under.
I would think the ethics-sensitive Nancy would be all over this, as it casts a shadow upon her party and leadership. I guess she only worries about politically-useful “ethics”… like those she can make up out of thin air.
