Michelle Obama ready for anonymity after ‘painful’ election
Michelle Obama is looking forward to getting her “anonymity” back.
The first lady complained in an interview that aired Monday night with Oprah Winfrey on CBS that her biggest sacrifice while Barack Obama served as president was giving up her ability to be anonymous.
But soon, she believes, that’ll change.
“You know, there’s nowhere I can go in the world and just sit at a table and have a cup of coffee and watch the world,” Obama said in what is expected to be her final sit-down interview.
Oprah doubted Obama will get her anonymity back — but the outgoing first lady was insistent.
“Yes, I am. Now it’s all gonna change,” Obama said at the White House.
The politician’s wife also said that she wouldn’t be running for office.
“That’s one thing I don’t do. I don’t make stuff up. I’m not coy. I’ve proven that. I’m pretty direct,” Obama told Oprah.
“If I were interested in it, I’d say it. I don’t believe in playing games. It’s not something I would do,” she added.
The first lady also said the recent election “was challenging for me as a citizen to watch and experience. It was painful.”

IIRC, Michelle is able to blend in with the rabble simply by removing her wig, wearing a scarf and sunglasses and dressing down to under $100 for her entire outfit (shoes included.)
She’s already done this while shopping at WalMart (or, maybe it was K-Mart?).
What gave her away then were her $1,700 shoes, silver sneakers.
I bet she’s going to be pleasantly surprised how easily she can blend in.
Her SS detail will be problematic, however.
Right. We need to get that déclassé pretender’s official portrait right out of there on Day One, so we can replace it with a risque picture of the new First Lady, possibly painted on black velvet and hung in a 30 pound gold Rococo frame. We also need to plow up those damn vegetable gardens she let Washington school children plant all over the White House lawn.
Sorry, but I truly liked this First Lady. She’s a genuine class act, who took the matter of being America’s First Lady seriously, but never lost touch with where she came from. For anyone who hated her for no rational reason that I can comprehend, it was your own loss.
Weellll the first thing is to let the kids have something for lunch they wont trash, yes and a nice flower gardens, tell your designers to move to Canada they couldnt come up with a single fashion statement the other women wanted to wear, not like Jackie at all. Even Cankles made a pants suit fashion. Yes Moochelle fade away, try to adapt to a staff of less than 40. We all will be delighted to forget you.
As I recall, Mrs Trump used passages of Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech. As they say, imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Evidently they like one another.
While they likely disagree on a lot, they would probably both agree that you don’t have a clue about polite behavior.
Her pride of country is over and thank GOD we will no longer have to see the she/male or as she has been affectionately called, an ape in heels.
