Howard Dean implies that Elise Stefanik deserves to be called a pig

Former Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean reacted to an offensive note left on the car of Rep. Elise Stefanik by implying that the New York Republican brought it on herself.

Stefanik shared a photo of what she called a “vile” note which said, “Rot in Hell FASCIST PIG,” on Twitter Saturday, and she lamented “that the radical Far-Left cannot see beyond their vicious hate.” Dean retweeted it hours later with his own.

“I don’t condone this, but ‘as ye sow, so shall ye reap,’” said Dean, a former governor of Vermont. “There is no excuse for the note writer or for you. You are a shame to your district and to a democratic United States.”

This is not the first time that Stefanik has been the target of a Democrat’s ire. She became a favorite target of Democrats and liberals during the House impeachment inquiry late last year, particularly for becoming a thorn in the side of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

One of the most explosive moments of the impeachment hearings came Nov. 15, 2019, when ranking member Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., yielded some of his time to Stefanik. But as she spoke, Schiff slammed down his gavel, arguing that it was not allowed under committee rules.

What followed was a debate between Nunes and Schiff as to whether the Republican could offer his time to a fellow member of Congress, rather than minority counsel. Stefanik repeatedly tried to speak, only for Schiff to bang his gavel again to silence her.

Screamin’ Dean was also a former Democrat Presidential candidate, so he certainly fits the mold. He says it’s wrong, but then does it anyway. THAT’S what Democrats think of women who don’t follow the Democrat directive of keeping barefoot and pregnant with liberal thought.

There will be no recrimination for Dean. In fact, the left will celebrate his hatred of women.

He should clarify his comment. Maybe he was only implying that she deserves to be called a fascist.

@Greg: He should retract and apologize and disappear from life. She’s not a fascist, either. Your Democrats proved themselves to be the fascists.

Dean didn’t write the note. Nobody knows who wrote the note. And nobody would even know about it, had she not posted it to her Twitter feed. (It was nicely outlined several times in ballpoint, assuring that it would photograph clearly. That was very thoughtful of someone acting on impulse.) She gave the writer a national audience. She has also successfully exploited it to gain for herself a Martyr Merit Brownie Point. Pardon my yawn.

@Greg: But Dean submitted she deserved being called a pig. Once again, you enthusiastically cheer the side of scumbags, just like with those threatening the Covington kids with death.

The chickenshit cowardice and vile, immature incivility of the left should be exposed whenever and wherever it is encountered. If you don’t like seeing it, stop supporting people who do it.

But Dean submitted she deserved being called a pig.

That isn’t what Dean said. Dean observed that what we put out into the world comes back to us. It’s a good observation. (Refer to Galatians 6)

This is the right, working themselves up over a childish note left by some unknown person on a car windshield. This is Stefanik, giving them a reason to do so by posting it on Twitter and attributing it to the “far left”, when she doesn’t really have a frickin’ clue who put it there, or why. It isn’t like people never get set off by the driving or parking habits of others, is it?

@Greg: So, your defense of Dean is that, out of the blue and with no context or relation to the note calling Stefanik a pig, he just quoted Scripture? Have you given any time to the consideration that someone might actually BELIEVE that shit?

Further, is it your view that anyone that gets a threatening or nasty note or phone call should simply keep it to themselves and not make a big deal out of it? That would come as news to some of your Democrats, many of whom, lacking any threatening or nasty notes from an outside source, frequently make their own, THEN make a major issue of it. Some liberals even stage physical attacks on themselves, then blame Trump supporters. Some Democrats have destroyed their own campaign headquarters and blamed Republicans. Even old Clyburn, who just endorsed Biden, lied about being spit on and called racial epithets on the Capital steps to draw attention to himself and generate hate and discontent.

They certainly didn’t “keep it to themselves”; in fact, they exploited it to the fullest extent. But I understand how when your cohorts commit despicable acts, you would prefer that the target of those attacks keep silent and spare the low-life, cowardly scum the embarrassment (though I’m sure your cohorts cheer such cowardice on) of exposure. Those targeted should just suck it up and be intimidated, as was the intent of the attack.

Of course, whoever left the note is only following the instructions of some of the Democrats in the highest positions in government. They are directed to go after, attack, intimidate and harass anyone that dares have thoughts other than liberal thoughts.

Never claim victim status its way so leftist progressive. She should have just dropped it in the recycle bin and gone on with her day.

Many people place credence in scripture.

@Greg: You seem to place great credence in weak, silly excuses for bad behavior. Tell me, when did Stefanik call someone a pig and wish them to rot in hell? What did she “sow” to “reap” that threat? I guess you are saying that any Democrat woman deserves to have threats leveled at them.

@Greg: So you support this kind of violence and harassment of the “other”?

It figures. You really should look at you own “victim shaming” and ask yourself if being racist is good for the country.

This is a nation of many people, and many cultures. How can you support white people bent on oppressing people of color?

Trump is winning elections because of his incredible popularity with blacks and Hispanics. The Dems might want to consider these demographics, in the future. They’re American too, not just privileged white kids.

@Nathan Blue: Fionna Hill is whining about “death threats” she has gotten since lying during the impeachment hearings. I don’t hear Greg whining that she should just keep it to herself.

@Deplorable Me: Fiona is one of those reptilians, look at that mouth looks like she could unhinge her jaws and swallow children whole.

@Deplorable Me, #10:

Tell me, when did Stefanik call someone a pig and wish them to rot in hell?

When did Howard Dean?

Stefanik attributed the note to the “far-left” as evidence of their “vicious hate”—with “far-left” being the broad-brush descriptor republicans increasingly use to paint anyone to the left of Donald Trump.

She doesn’t actually have a clue who left the note, or for what reason. She’s the one making hateful accusations and generalizations, not Howard Dean.

@Greg: Dean also assumed it was from the left, otherwise he would not have excused it the way he did. It was from an immature idiot; it just so happens the most of those reside on the left.

@Deplorable Me, #15:

Dean also assumed it was from the left, otherwise he would not have excused it the way he did.

Dean didn’t excuse either Stefanik or the note writer:

“I don’t condone this, but ‘as ye sow, so shall ye reap.’ There is no excuse for the note writer or for you. You are a shame to your district and to a democratic United States.”

Dean doesn’t know who the note writer was any more than Stefanik does, but he does know what Stefanik was doing when she posted the note and made the accusation. It’s a symptom of what’s going seriously wrong in American politics, not of any sort of solution for it. That Trump has made this sort of thing the norm is one of the reasons I find him intolerable.

@Greg: All public figures are subject to attacks and criticism, Elise needs to accept that as fact and not try to exploit victim-hood as Liberal women do. Dean is a nuthin nobody has been.

@Greg:

Dean didn’t excuse either Stefanik or the note writer:

Well…. yeah, he did. Reaping and sowing. Remember? In his view, Stefanik deserved it because she is Republican and won’t reside on the liberal plantation. You, too, excuse it; probably ENJOY it.

Again, WHO did Stefanik call a pig and WHO did she tell to burn in Hell?

Lying Elise probably wrote note herself.

@Michael: You, of course, have no reason to accuse such a thing, other than Democrats frequently pull such stunts, but that’s not the point. The POINT is that Dean implied she DESERVED it.

Maybe she took a parking place somebody else was waiting for. Maybe she parked too close to somebody else’s car. Or maybe some particular individual didn’t like the way she and Nunes treated Schiff, when he was only following House rules. The possibilities are endless. In any case, it was nothing more than a note impulsively left under her windshield by some unknown person, which she felt a need to post on Twitter along with a baseless accusation and a comment about how hateful the left is. She should grow the hell up, or at least try to act like an adult.

This is hardly worth our time. It’s not like there’s nothing of far more significance in the news today. I’ve got nothing more to say about it.

@Greg:

Or maybe some particular individual didn’t like the way she and Nunes treated Schiff, when he was only following House rules.

Yeah, all that mean old demanding due process and Constitutional rights. That bitch.

Here’s a possibility: a liberal that is an immature, spoiled, entitled sore loser thought they would impress their little friends (and people like you and Dean) by leaving an anonymous vile message on her car.

Howard Dean made a comment back in the day before the dems/libs forced me to never vote for their party again, back when I used to vote as an independent. This was about 15-20 yrs ago. It was a turning point for me to hear a leader from the democrat party say such a hateful and disgusting thing. I will always view him as that nasty let down of a person who’s not to be believed or taken seriously because that’s who he’s told us he is and made himself out to be!

@Greg:

I’ve got nothing more to say about it.

I agree. You should shut the f*ck up, in general, having nothing coherent to say about anything.

There are overwhelmingly hostile and numerous of the Left either committing or fomenting violence and harassment against their political “enemies”. They have inspired their cultist followers to normalize hostile and fascist like behavior. Nothing even close to this conduct is mirrored on the right.

any doubt about the left’s hatred is easily wiped away in light of the recent physical threats made to to sitting supreme Court justices by a Democrat senator… In front of a vicious and far-left crowd incensed by their own hysteria and hatred.

Stefanik was absolutely right and showing yet another example of the Left’s unethical and immoral behavior.

Indeed, that’s ALL there is to say about that.

@Nathan Blue: I would have no problem with the origin of the note being investigated. I would like to see all doubt removed. However, wherever it came from, Dean’s reaction was naturally despicable.

@Wfsk:
Statement made by Howard Dean…… “I HATE REPUBLICANS AND EVERYTHING THEY STAND FOR!”

@Deplorable Me:

Hate to burst your bubble. I am not a Democrat . Just how would you know that I don’t have a reason to say that.

@Nathan Blue:

Huh? Close window when you breath. May God bless you

@Michael: If you will note, I never said you were a Democrat; I merely pointed out that Democrats have pulled the stunt of staging attacks on themselves, so that might be where you got the idea Stefanik was staging this one. Aw… did I burst YOUR bubble?

If you had some actual evidence that would back up such a claim, you would have presented it. Note that attacking women who are not liberal, calling them liars and accusing them of acts without any evidence is a Democrat trait. Perhaps YOU are the liar. (I wouldn’t admit being a Democrat, either)
