The final registered roll call vote will be [available here], it’s not yet registered. However, at almost midnight the House finally passed the previous $550 billion Senate infrastructure bill.
After a day of back-biting and internal debate among the far-left communist wing and the socialist wing inside the democrat caucus, Nancy Pelosi was forced to bring the long delayed ordinary infrastructure bill to a vote. 13 republicans supported it. The final vote was 228/206.
This bill has a long backstory {SEE HERE} as it was originally going to be connected to a massive Build Back Better social spending bill demanded by the communists in the House. However, after months of attempts to structure some way to get two bills out of the House, one of them insanely over-the-top with social spending, eventually the communists were forced to let the original senate bill come up for a stand alone vote.
With the Democrats needing a win, any win, to show they are capable of doing something…. they put this bill to a vote. The future of their communist social spending bill is unknown.

GDP growth was 2.6% under Rs and 4.1% under Ds. Stock market return was 109% under Rs and 992% under Ds. Stock Market returns annuitized was 2.7% under Rs and 11% under Ds.
Moving on to 2016-2020, Trump took the debt from $19.6 trillion to $26.9T. And much of this was even prior to COVID. The tax scam never produced the job growth promised while shifting untold wealth to the very top while exploding the deficit.

Not sure how many remember (or will accept the fact that it’s true) but Trump and republicans campaigned in 2016 on a promise of infrastructure investments and improvements.
It’s also likely many don’t remember or will deny the fact that Trump and republicans had full control of the WH and congress for 2 years. They could have easily lived up to their promise and what the voters wanted but they did not.

First Poll Since Infrastructure Passed Is More Bad News for Biden, Dems

Some fresh polling from The Washington Post and ABC News — the first read on Americans’ opinions of President Biden and Democrats since infrastructure was passed by the House — has more bad news for the White House and Democrats looking to right their party’s ship ahead of the midterms.
When asked whether they approve or disapprove of the way Joe Biden is handling his job as president, a majority of Americans — 53 percent — said they disapprove while just 41 percent said they approve. On the economy, 55 percent says they disapprove of Biden’s handling while more Americans disapprove than approve of his handling of the Wuhan coronavirus 49 to 47 percent.
As Rebecca covered earlier, the passage of the president’s infrastructure legislation — after months of Democrat infighting and multiple delays — should have given Biden a much needed bump in the polls:

Just 35 percent said he’s accomplished a “great deal” or “good amount” while 63 percent said they felt Biden has so far accomplished “not much” or “nothing.” A slim majority — 51 percent — say that Biden is not keeping most of his major campaign promises
