As Twitchy’s told you, the MSM’s narrative surrounding Puerto Rico is crumbling like nobody’s business. The Hill, for example, has decided that dishonesty is the best policy when it comes to reporting what’s actually going on. But they were beaten to the punch by Politico, who published this piece on October 1:
Analysis: Puerto Rico’s tragedy was years in the making https://t.co/TPYDCf3JkA via @POLITICOMag pic.twitter.com/an3CS8XIiU
— POLITICO (@politico) October 1, 2017
What a coincidence! So was the collapse of Politico’s reputation! Take a look at these corrections to the original post:
Those darn Koch brothers! They probably used mind control to trick Politico into blaming them for Puerto Rico’s problems.
Do reporters who dislike them assume the Kochs were involved in all bad things & automatically write that they're to blame?

Sure seems that way, doesn’t it?
Shorter correction: An earlier version of this article was a complete lie.

Short and sweet.
“The corrections are longer than the articles”
That about sums up liberal journalism today. Yet, liberals never doubt what they are told by their propagandists.
Oct 4 Puerto Rico’s debt will have to be wiped out, Trump says
@Deplorable Me, #1:
They acknowledged and published the corrections to their article. When’s the last time any of the media outlets you get your b.s. from did that?
Reasons for corrections, Obama signed law, Obamas admin put the toxic ash in place. Their own government built an ice rink rather than improve utilities. Cant blame the last 10 months for what happened over 40 years of corruption, even liberals wont swallow that.
The errors that originally appeared in the Politico article are clearly stated and acknowledged in the corrections section at the bottom of the page. So what, exactly, is Alex Griswold whining about?
And what is this MSM’s “narrative” about Puerto Rico? Much of the island was trashed by a Category 4 hurricane. The initial response was slow and disorganized, and observations that this was so have resulted claims that it’s somehow the victims’ own fault. The right has bullshit narratives coming out of their ears—or somewhere, as Trump might say. Supplies aren’t being distributed because of unions, or lazy drivers, or corrupt local officials, etc etc.
What’s Happening With the Relief Effort in Puerto Rico? A timeline of the unprecedented catastrophe of Hurricane Maria
@Greg: How exactly was the respose slow, only 10K containers in less than 2 weeks? Perhaps we shouldnt say corrupt until all the living San Juan Mayors and governors assets are examined. Starting with the Media Mayor who cant show up to FEMA meetings, no one is blaming the victims just the victimizers. Trump simply says its a community effort, the left loves the word community, now he uses it and its so mean and waaaaacist. Trump makes comment about the debt, suggesting PR might need a clean start and they twist that too.
How bout that new Tshirt she wore for another TV appearance “NASTY” aint that a hoot. I think the media shouldnt be her designer of choice.
Maybe they shouldn’t have published the lies in the first place. Don’t you think that should at least be an option? Now, provide an example of something that was false and needed a correction.
Why do cabinet members have to take time out of their schedule to hold a press conference to denounce stupid, infantile lies the fake news cranks out? Sec of State Tillerson had to denounce the lies NBC spreads in order to try and maintain the confidence other nations have in our government. Your leftist, liberal, lying media is bound and determined to destroy the country out of crybaby spite because Hillary wasn’t simply crowned President, and it is absolutely disgusting.
They need new mayor in San Juan rather then his constant whiner
