WASHINGTON — Representative Henry A. Waxman of California, a diminutive Democratic giant whose 40 years in the House produced some of the most important legislation of the era, will announce on Thursday that he is retiring at the end of the year.

Mr. Waxman, 74, joins the growing list of House members who are calling it quits, many in disappointment over the partisanship and ineffectiveness of a Congress that may end up as the least productive in history.

Waxman represents the worst of the worst!! I wished he would have done America a favor and made this decision long ago!!

When I look at Waxman I am always reminded of the rat in the Disney movie, Cinderella.

I think Henry is really retiring because Al Gore has finally discovered the truth. Henry Waxman IS ManBearPig!!!

I hate to mock someone’s appearance… but Waxman could be a vessen on “Grimm” without any makeup…. That is one scary looking dude.
