Guy who depends on the stupidity of the American voter blames Trump for increasing health care premiums

You have to admit, he’s consistent

ObamaCare co-architect Jonathan Gruber — who infamously said “the stupidity of the American voter” helped get the measure to become law — now blames Trump for rising premium costs.

“Whose fault is this?” Gruber asked on “Fox News Sunday.” “Since President Trump has been elected … premiums are going up and insurers are exiting.”

Gruber, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology economics professor, argued that perceived rising premium costs are really a one-time increase in 2016 to cover “massively underpriced” policies for the first two years of the 2010 law.

He also said the increase “fixed” the problem because insurance companies were seeking signs of profitability and talking optimistically about continued participation in the program.

Right now, major ObamaCare insurers are pulling out of Iowa and Virginia exchanges, leaving many customers with one or no options and putting the state exchanges in jeopardy of collapse.

Gruber also argued Sunday that Trump contributed to ObamaCare’s rising prices and fewer policy options for Americans because he “undercuts open enrollment.”

Trump shortly after taking office cut advertising days before the January 2017 signup deadline.

Gruber was never part of the Obama administration but was a top adviser, purportedly paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for his input.

And he still clearly thinks you’re stupid. More here

Gruber is a blabbering nincompoop idiot who i beleive was once employed by the now defunkned NEWSREEK and the real idiots are they one who still beleives these lying liberal journalists

He knows his lemming moron following will jump on his stupid assertion with vigor. Because they are stupid.

Senate Repubs totally scorn this foolish bill. They will provide, in due time, a totally new bill bearing little resemblance to this bill which helps the rich rather than the middle class and working poor. Trump should be ashamed.

Talk about lemmings. That would be those who follow this emperor sans clothes.

@Rich Wheeler: What’s so extrodinary about this reverse Robin Hood scam of legislation is their gaslighting attempt to not only insist that taking $880 billion from Medicaid to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy will make health care better but trying to deny they are even doing it. They are telling us it will not affect preexisting conditions when it does, that it wasn’t rammed though when it was, that it will lower premiums when it won’t, and that no one will lose coverage when they will.

Even along with most Americans, doctors, medical groups, et al that hate it, many of the GOP that voted for it even admit it’s bad even while applauding how good it is.

But at least we now know in this madness of the Trump era, no one has ever died of lack of health care.

Gruber is a total idiot momma’s please dont let yourbabies grow up to be liberals or they’ll be just like Jonathan Gruber a total igoramus

@Rich Wheeler: How is it that every time a tax break helps everyone the left characterizes it as “for the rich”? Bush’s “tax break for the rich” added $789 billion to the federal coffers. The tax breaks help THE NATION. Liberals (ignoring how many wealth, greedy, tax-evading liberals there are) simply cannot STAND that wealthy might share some of the benefit.

One thing is for certain; the unmitigated disaster that was Obamacare, which stifled growth, killed jobs and increased health care costs is gone.

Leftists think tax breaks are bad because all money is supposed to belong to the government.

Leftist cannot ever admit their scams are inherent failures, so they have to blame an outside agency.

Like, “The Russians mind controlled voters to vote for Trump”, and “Obamacare failed because Trump and his evil minions are big meanies”

As long as government is stuffing its nose in healthcare the costs will go up the care will go down. The VA is government run healthcare they cant do that right.

@kitt: The VA is a vivid example because there is no accountability. Make administrators and doctors accountable for their actions and you may have totally different results.

However, the left is fully infiltrated in the bureaucracy and are opposed to any type of accountability of officials, so poor service is the standard.

Did’nt this idiot once work for the new defunk liberal news rag NEWSREEK?
