A review of controlled social media shows various acts of civilian rebellion are being met with police arrests, detention and incarceration.
Some states have released inmates to make room to jail rebellious soccer moms and subversive members of churches who are non compliant with the dictates of their local command and control authority.
According to the national Lügenpresse proximity alerts have been sounding in/around west coast beaches as well as multiple parks in the northeastern unified control zones. As a result, additional enforcement personnel have been dispatched to these hot spots to avoid any outbreak of spontaneous liberty.
Compliance, while increasingly tenuous, is being maintained.
Simultaneous to the targeting of the rebels, armed behavior modification coaches (local police) have taken positions around Blue state public parks and beaches to identify, separate and arrest targeted provocateurs and subversives attempting to express liberty against the interests of the COVID-19 ministry.
That said, what is the compliance like in your city, town, village or hamlet?

Perhaps the response to the epidemic has been TOO much of a success. The rapid and effective reaction, combined with overly negative models, makes the description of the threat seem terribly and unnecessarily overblown (and maybe it was). If the restrictions were kept reasonable, no doubt there would be far fewer protests.
My wife’s parents (and I’m sure many others) live in an independent living facility. They have not just been unable to go wherever they want, they cannot leave, have to take their meals in their apartment and are allowed no visitors. Been that way for over a month now. Given their age, wise precautions, but hard to imagine hardship and stress. They were allowed out on my mother-in-law’s 86th birthday this month as 4 of us parked our cars on the drive in back with “Happy Birthday” signage on our cars. We shouted best wishes over a distance of 30 yards.
Hopefully as people come out of isolation they can show restraint and intelligence.

The fact that there are protests show that Americans, by and large, still believe in the Constitution and are not risk adverse.
I have to laugh when I see all these people in home made masks and surgical masks. The only mask that truly offers protection are the N95s. And even then, it only protects others from you, not you from others as the virus can enter through your eyes.
Those over 70 should self quarantine. They are at high risk of dying from the Chinese created virus.
Shutting down our nation and putting tens of millions out of work, IMHO, will prove to have been folly.

Its understood that it isnt for self protection, the N95 and P100 with vent allows exhaled virus carriers to be if as if they were not even wearing a mask as far as others go.
There are home made masks that have filter pockets slip in a filter from a cpap machine, but you need fashion tape to seal the edges of the mask against your face.
We know not all N95s are equal.
As NY goes ,seems they are the fashionable citizen imprisonment, so goes the nation now masks are mandatory, so we need to help nurses and doctors keep their PPE supplies stocked, so we sew. Always its voluntary until it isnt.
If I had an embroidery machine I would add “this is not a hold up” It just feels like one when you find a pair of good looking steaks for Saturday dinner.

The N95 comes with, and without, vents. The one with no vent is the one everyone should be wearing. Loose masks, made at home, serve absolutely no purpose because they don’t fit tight to the face. It just makes people feel better, and then there’s the idiocy coming out of New York who made matters worse by not limiting passengers on the subway cars and buses or not cleaning them properly.
Here’s the trick; spray room freshner close to you. If you can smell it with your mask on, it ain’t working.

Trump was influenced by Anthony Fauci. I am NOT a fan of Anthony Fauci. He played this for all it was worth but now it’s being reported that he gave the Wuhan Lab $3.7 million in spite of the Obama administration saying that no money could go to labs messing around with these viruses. He has crossed over from scientist to politician. And, during his long tenure with the Federal Government, has been wrong more than he has been right.

I dont know about you but I have always just dropped the dog off and was called to pick them up.
