Get ready for Trump 2.0 – The 2020 news is bad for Democrats, great for America

Loading

On Wednesday you could hear howls of misery and disbelief coming from Democrats and Never Trumpers. What now, you may ask?

After all, the power and popularity of the president’s tax cuts has already hit. His rolling back of regulations and the killing of the ObamaCare mandate has already fueled an economic renaissance. What else could have made the morose even less amiable?

Was it the president continuing to smash ISIS? Or was it the leaked audio of Russian fighters in Syria complaining that a U.S. attack “kicked our a—- like we were little pieces of s—.”

It was actually the most debilitating news of all: The Trump campaign announced that 2016 campaign digital guru Brad Parscale is the 2020 campaign manager for the president’s re-election bid, confirming the happy likelihood that people will be saying the words “President Trump” until early 2025.

This news shouldn’t have surprised anyone. President Trump filed his campaign paperwork with the Federal Election Committee on January 20, 2017, the day of his inauguration.

But for those who have been living in the 24/7 Never Trump fantasy universe – working on their fake Russian dossiers and “insurance policies” to derail President-elect Trump from becoming President Trump – this fresh proof that he’s not going away dealt a blow like no other.

The frantic attempts during the past year by the president’s opposition to nullify the election were meant to achieve his removal from office, one way or another. Nope, didn’t happen.

With personal attacks and salacious rumors, they would bully and harass Melania Trump into leaving the president, ripping out his support system and making him ineffectual. Nope, didn’t happen.

Remember the idiotic obsession with the 25th Amendment to the Constitution? Thinking the Cabinet would declare the president “incapable of performing his duties” and remove him from office? Yeah, good for a laugh, but nope, didn’t happen.

Then there’s the arrest for treason, collusion with the Russians, more treason, dementia. Nope, didn’t happen.

And the Michael Wolff book would be the death knell to Trump’s presidency. Well, someone did leave the White House after that dumpster fire, but it wasn’t President Trump.

The president has not only survived the past year, he has thrived. He learned more about the swamp, made his machine even more powerful and effective by making changes when necessary, and adopted his own style without sacrificing his agenda or commitment to make American great again.

For those who thought they could make Donald Trump and his family miserable or afraid, the president’s commitment to another four years confirms they continue to underestimate the man and still don’t understand what the revolution of 2016 was all about.

The American people were told by President Obama that family-supporting, full-time professional jobs were over. The languishing punishment of working two-part time jobs, or living unemployment check to unemployment check, was the “new normal.”

Instead of the government celebrating a strong economy, the Obama administration touted driving Americans onto food stamps, and boasted about how many people were forced into ObamaCare, making even access to health care a pipe dream.

President Trump put his foot down on the degradation of the American people, and reversed course. The Heritage Foundation has announced that within just year one of President Trump’s first term, he has already accomplished an astounding 64 percent of the organization’s conservative leadership recommendations.

The Washington Examiner reports: “With unprecedented speed, the Trump administration has already implemented nearly two-thirds of the 334 agenda items called for by the Heritage Foundation, a pace faster than former President Reagan who embraced the conservative think tank’s legendary ‘Mandate for Leadership’ blueprint.”

Frankly David Hogg and his fellow gun control wanks can all go and take a hike as long as their marching just keep marching south until you come to the border then keep on going

After all, the power and popularity of the president’s tax cuts has already hit.

What hasn’t hit is the part where people realize tax cuts for corporations and the wealthiest will go on forever, while everyone else’s phase out and the taxes of many become even higher than before. Do you believe their assurances that some future congress will fix that little problem, which is built right into the reform package? It won’t happen, because the escalating deficits the tax cuts cause will make it impossible. What they’ll do is cut basic entitlements, which won’t much affect those who have already benefited from—and will continue to benefit from—the tax cuts the most.

You’ve been scammed. But it will take around 7 years for you to realize it. And that was a cynical political calculation.

@Greg: Ya Greg dems da breaks, but had the democrats actually had a candidate that didnt insult Americans during the campaign, maybe this wouldnt have happened , was a pleasant surprise but no shock except to the panel of MSLSD that she lost. Put her up again you know like its her right to be the first extremely careless with classifed information president EVER. Haiti needs the donation money still, but her daughter had a lavish wedding. Tacky Hillary went to Dons 05 wedding and no gift, the grifter got her free meal and drinks and stiffed the bride and groom.

@Greg:

while everyone else’s phase out and the taxes of many become even higher than before.

Unless they are renewed, which they will be. See, it had to be that way because NO Democrats wanted the American people to have a tax cut. They knew tax cuts would boost the economy and be wildly popular, something Democrats cannot abide by.

It is completely understandable for Democrats to want Trump to be out in 4. However, standing around whining about his victory, waiting for him to screw up so you can rip him to shreds for it or, in the absence of an actual mistake, inventing crimes against humanity is not going to win any elections. You are going to need some policies and programs better than Trump’s but, alas, your Democrats are not up to the task.

No, the scam is over and Trump made sure an even greater scam was not perpetrated on the American people. You guys going to run Hillary again? Which gimmick will you employ to try and get celebrity-addicted morons to vote for your candidate?

Tammy is RIGHTT!

Don’t really care. Corporations don’t pay taxes, they pass them on to the consumer like every other business expense. Corporate tax cuts mean lower prices for us, greater expansion and investment for the corporations, and more jobs for us.
I have interests in several small businesses, and that’s the way it works. Their rent goes up, their prices go up. Their taxes go up, their prices go up. Their expenses go down, their prices go down.
If they didn’t have to pay taxes, they could grow faster and hire more people sooner.
Anyone who claims that companies pay taxes is either ignorant or lying.

@Petercat: The first 1/2 of this countrys history no income no business taxes, there was explosive growth, tarriffs on imports financed the government. The government has become too bloated and inefficient to go back. Thinking Trump or anyone else can make it anything but what it has become in 8 short years is dreaming, but I will take any improvements that come along.

@Bill… Deplorable Me:

Unless they are renewed, which they will be.

The current round of cuts is expected to add another trillion-and-a-half dollars on top of the debt growth that was already projected. We’re headed for trillion dollar annual deficits. That’s meltdown territory. There will be no renewal.

“I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”

Federal Debt Projected to Grow by Nearly $10 Trillion Over Next Decade

@Greg: Thank Obama.

Economic growth will increase tax revenues which will abate that Obama-driven explosion in the debt. But, I wouldn’t expect a liberal to understand any of that.

That’s one of the GOP’s favorite fairy tales.

Tax cuts without limit do not increase revenue without limit. That’s why the Laffer Curve is a curve, and not an ever-ascending straight line. The peak is the optimal rate. Past that point, the result of any further cuts are falling revenues and rising debt. You can’t compensate forever with economic expansion, because the potential for economic expansion has limits.

@Greg: True, there is a point at which revenues drop. However, these tax cuts are increasing growth and revenues.

Wall Street prepares for ugly sell-off after Cohn’s resignation. It’s about more than trade.

Pro-free market policies have apparently now been ditched, close on the heels of any pretense the GOP might once have had about controlling deficits and debt. Will anyone in the Trump camp care, or even notice?

The GOP’s party of family values claim may also become a much more difficult sell. No one should have needed a crystal ball to foresee this guy would be big trouble.

Stormy Daniels sues Trump, says ‘hush agreement’ invalid because he never signed

@Greg:

Pro-free market policies have apparently now been ditched, close on the heels of any pretense the GOP might once have had about controlling deficits and debt.

No, what the goal is a RETURN to free markets. If other countries put tariffs on our goods, why is it absurd for us to place tariffs on theirs? If they don’t like the tariffs, they can lower or remove theirs.

Trump was deemed insane for putting tariffs on Chinese solar panel companies that had run US companies out of business. This was going to be disastrous. What has been the result? The Chinese are opening companies up in the US, creating US jobs. This will also make US companies more competitive.

Imposing those tariffs is a bold, risky move, but it is not fundamentally bad. I am anxious to see the results, not predisposed to surrender.

Stormy Daniels sues Trump, says ‘hush agreement’ invalid because he never signed

Gosh, I wonder why he never signed it? “Stormy” sounds like a bona fide NUT.

@Greg: I dont care much for tarriffs, adding cost to steel and aluminum now when they are planning a big infrastucture projects and military build up, seems we pay more and get less. The shrinking candy bar is a good example. It may actually will cost jobs A 2003 study funded by steel producers that supported the tariffs found that the Bush tariffs brought back 16,000 steel jobs. A study funded by steel-consuming companies that opposed the tariff found that rising prices caused between 43,000 to 200,000 job losses hard to tell the economy was taking a Clinton/Bush crapper. “The U.S. price for hot-rolled steel, a basic item that had a 30 % tariff, has jumped to around $350 a ton from $210 in one year.” The whole thing ended in 21 months, did not revive the industry nor make them competitive.
I keep telling you we know Trump was a chaser, you knew Billy was a chaser, and we dont care. I am sorry for the FLOTUS being embarrassed, liberals hate her without cause and just love to see her hurt, the sick bastids.
