President Joe Biden has had a series of flops and failures already during his administration, but one new stat is showing a negative effect that is hurting all Americans.
New reports showed that Americans are paying the highest gas prices they paid in 7 years, during the Obama administration.
“Today, 89 percent of US gas stations are selling regular unleaded for $2.75 or more. That is a stark increase over last July 4 when only a quarter of stations were selling gas for more than $2.25,” said AAA spokeswoman Jeanette McGee.
“Road trippers will pay the most to fill up for the holiday since 2014,” she added.
Even worse, those numbers come just as many Americans look to take road trips or holidays to celebrate Independence Day.
“While it is typical to see gas prices increase ahead of a holiday, especially during the peak summer driving season, pump price increases as of late have been noticeable,” AAA said in a statement.
AAA raised the alarm about the gas prices after they hit a national average of $3.09.
“That average will increase, possibly as much as another nickel, in the lead up to the Independence Day holiday weekend as AAA forecasts a record-breaking 43.6 million Americans will hit the road for a holiday getaway,” AAA said.
AAA said crude oil prices increased because of optimism about increased demand as we head into summer months.

Electric vehicles are prohibited from being charged during night time hours and discouraged from being charged in day time, too.
Now, the MTA has cancelled its monthly pass, its 2 hour flat rate pass and raised its fare to $2.75.
Thank goodness the vast majority of people in LA are illegals who live via an underground economy.
They don’t have to pay taxes on pay.
That gives them a huge leg up to afford to pollute the city with their gas guzzlers.
The freeways are always packed.
And what if those states Gavin bans travel to decided to cut them off their energy supplies?
