Found! A cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome!

A Florida woman told police that she stabbed herself in the stomach with a kitchen knife because, “I’m tired of living in Trump’s country, I’m tired of Trump being president.”

Cops found the 46-year-old woman standing outside her residence in Palmetto Sunday, according to a police report. She had blood all over her legs, hands, and face, a cop noted.

When asked what was wrong, the woman lifted her shirt to reveal “three stab wounds on [her] stomach that were still bleeding.” She then told the patrolman she had “stabbed herself because she does not want to live in Trump’s country.”

The woman was subsequently transported by EMS workers to a local hospital “under trauma alert.”

harikari – ritual suicide by self-disembowelment on a sword not done with a paring knife. This person obviously not samurai, I suspect a Wretched Madcow fan.

Why can’t she just move to Cuba or Venezuela?

@kitt:

as you will recall, harikari required a kaishakunin or second who’s duty is to behead the one who is performing seppuku or harikari. so why did this looser, on American welfare, not finish the job or as Deplorable Me move to Cuba or Venezuela.

@MOS#8541: Um… liberal… stupid… demented… incompetent.

I wish her all the best when she tries it again. Perhaps she can get a few dozen friends to join her.

@John Galt: Some lemmings jump off cliffs. Maybe she could join them.

placing the knife, 5″-7″ over the 5- 6 th. rib on the anterior chest wall and slamming the body on a wall or refrigerator always works well. she just has to remember to pull it out.

Re: Trump derangement syndrome:

I don’t believe he can be cured.

@Greg: Maturity can cure it. It prevents the onset, too.

@Greg: Admitting you have a problem is 1/2 the battle brother.

@Greg: Oh, I’m sorry. Trump Derangement Syndrome is the irrational hysteria of distorting everything Trump does or says into something–however false–into a piece of partisan yammering.

Ex. “Trump’s Crazy!” with no evidence beyond repeating said lie over and over again.

It’s not your use of the tired, old, and lame mantra used above.

One thing is for sure: Trump “cured” us of Obama. It’s like BO was never President!

@Nathan Blue, #11:

I tend to be skeptical about the accuracy of diagnoses made by the inmates of the asylum.

Around 8.5 million Americans signed up for health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act during the 2019 open enrollment period. Over 20 million Americans currently have health insurance that otherwise would not, because of ACA provisions. Trump hasn’t “cured” that yet. Nor did we ever see any sign of the GOP’s Obamacare alternative that he told us would be cheaper, better, available to everyone, and was ready to roll out. He’s as likely to keep that promise as the one he made to make his tax returns available as soon as the audit is done.

@Greg: 7 million were kicked off their insurance Obama explicitly and repeatedly promised them they could keep. The penalty for not buying the insurance people didn’t want was not extreme enough (for political reasons) so not enough healthy people were forced to buy unwanted insurance to pay for the sick using the insurance, so deductible and premiums skyrocketed. Those “lucky” people who can afford a plan cannot afford the deductibles to use it; money for nothing.

No, that’s one Democrat-induced problem Trump hasn’t solved because Democrats care more about not having to admit terrible mistake and failure than they do about solving problems.

And what’s THEIR solution? Make it WORSE! The VA for all! And bankruptcy to boot.

@Deplorable Me:

Remember the Democrats telling us how great Obamacare was going to be? Remember Greggie Goebbels telling us how great Obamacare is? So name me one of the two dozen Democrats vying for the nomination in 2020 is telling us the same thing.

Obamacare was a failure. The passengers of the Democrat Clown Car know it and that is why they aren’t running on keeping it. Now they are running on “Medicare For All” while they never mention that seniors have to pay for part of their Medicare and it is taken out of the Social Security check even before they get it. And it keeps going up while SS doesn’t keep up with that premium increase.

We all knew that Obamacare was nothing more than the precursor to government take over of our entire health care system.

7 million were kicked off their insurance Obama explicitly and repeatedly promised them they could keep.

I was one of them, even after years of union negotiations that “guaranteed” I would always have it.

He hasn’t “solved” it because he’s got no solution that doesn’t involve the political consequences of taking away the health insurance coverage of 20 million Americans.

Here’s the bankruptcy problem in a nutshell: The three wealthiest men in America together own more than the bottom 50 percent of all Americans combined; the richest 1/2 of 1 percent of Americans own over one-half of all American corporate stocks. And the disparity is growing faster now than at any other time in American history. It’s The Great Train Robbery, disguised as another economic boom.

We’re piling up public debt at the rate of one trillion dollars a year to keep the serfs from rebelling while the wealthiest finish shaking down the entire system. Not to worry! The resultant debt will belong equally to everyone. It will result in Social Security benefit and Medicare cuts and the disappearance of the social safety net. Oh, how the richest will suffer!

Wealth Inequality in the United States

Refusal to address the problem in a rational fashion will eventually result in it being addressed in an irrational fashion, at which point the peasants with their pitchforks will have the wanna-be nobility vastly outnumbered. That, at least, is what history tells us usually happens.

@Greg:

He hasn’t “solved” it because he’s got no solution that doesn’t involve the political consequences of taking away the health insurance coverage of 20 million Americans.

No, because there is no solution that Democrats will support. Remember also that 7 million of that 20 million were those who got kicked off of their insurance, lost their doctors, interrupted their treatments and then got new, more expensive, less useful insurance. You keep talking about scams and con men, Obamacare was pushed by the best in the business. Jon Gruber explained it well; sell it to stupid people; they’ll take it and like it.

Your beloved socialism is not going to solve anything but the problem of the United States being the wealthiest, most prosperous nation on earth and turning it into Venezuela.

@Deplorable Me:

No, because there is no solution that Democrats will support.

BINGO!!!

Your beloved socialism is not going to solve anything

What Greggie Goebbels just posted sounds like every dictator in history that destroyed their own nation.
Greggie Goebbels has extreme wealth envy. Guess he wasn’t smart enough, dedicated enough or worked hard enough to gain wealth on his own so he wants the wealth of those who did redistributed to people like him. Maybe he could ask Nancy Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein for a handout.

@retire05: He is buying in to DeBlathero’s concept that there is plenty of wealth in the US to pay for all the socialism they want (there isn’t), it’s just inconveniently in the hands of those who earned it. As we see demonstrated over and over, liberals think everyone else’s wealth should belong to them, but what’s theirs is off limits.

The Democrat candidates that express caution in employing socialism were booed off the stage at the California convention. Biden, the voice of moderation, is being forced to take a more socialist stand to be accepted. The Democrat party has been taken over fully by socialists and most of the candidates are trying to garner support of their base by proving to be more stupid than the rest of the field; a stiff competition.

@Deplorable Me, #16:

You should probably discontinue your Social Security checks. You can also tear up your Medicare card for good measure. I’m sure you’ll feel much better, no longer participating in these evil “socialist” programs. (Although you’ll more likely assert that you paid for it and earned it, but would be doing far better if you’d been allowed to invest the money yourself, all republicans imagining themselves to be frustrated financial geniuses held back by liberal policies. That’s the classic response.)

Donald Trump’s Social Security Benefit Is Probably Higher Than You Realize

@Greg:

You should probably discontinue your Social Security checks.

Why? I’ve paid into it for over 50 years.

You can also tear up your Medicare card for good measure.

I’ve been paying into that, too. Of course, I still have to pay for a supplement because, you know, government health care is so great.

What I shouldn’t be doing is paying for the benefits of illegal immigrants, but that is how the Democrats want it, to buy votes, since intelligent American citizens won’t vote for them anymore.

@Deplorable Me:

The Democrat party has been taken over fully by socialists

Someone I know who lived in China and who has a pretty good handle on what Communism is, told me the difference between socialism and Communism is that under socialism they let you get your money first and then they tax it away and redistribute it. Under Communism they take it before you get it and then redistribute it. The demokrats kind of sound like a hybrid of the two.

@Greg: Actually Greg, IN 10 years I have increased my investments 4X. By working another 10 years, I have increased my SS by $500/month. Some of us do quite well with a little knowledge and by not voting for “progressives”.

@Greg:

The ACA was broken, as you don’t have to get insurance to avoid a tax by the government. That bad scam by the Obama admin was most definitely cured.

No one cares about his tax returns. It’s a cheap gimmick of your party. Unlock Obama’s records, then you can whine. Until then, you’re a hypocrite.

I tend to be skeptical about the accuracy of diagnoses made by the inmates of the asylum.

Says the inmate. As we know, you have to support your employer, no matter how wrong they are. Good luck.

@Nathan Blue: Isn’t it odd that we all wondered how Chief Justice Roberts could conclude that the mandate in Obamacare was a “tax” when Democrats denied it was a tax and tax bills are supposed to originate in the House, not the Senate, and then we learn that Obama was running his illegal surveillance scam on him and other Justices? I mean, how weird is THAT?

@Deplorable Me: It’s incredible, how Trump has kept his promises. Getting rid of the tax was job one (achieved), and now it’s a back and forth with House to refine what’s there into something better and better….you know, democracy.
The Dems abused their majority in 08 to install the chief donors of Obama as the ACA “vendors”. It was all dirty. The Reps are not responsible for cleaning it up, because they didn’t create it. The fakenews claim that Reps need to offer something better is bogus

@Nathan Blue, #23:

The ACA was broken, as you don’t have to get insurance to avoid a tax by the government. That bad scam by the Obama admin was most definitely cured.

Republicans have done everything in their power to break it, methodically kicking out the critical provisions created to keep it working, while proclaiming it was broken to begin with. Their continuous propaganda and efforts at sabotage have been a full-time, nine-year project, as anyone who has paid attention realizes. In all that time, they haven’t come up with anything that adequately addresses the problems that the ACA was designed to deal with, nor have they done a damn thing to correct problems with the ACA that could have been sorted out. If they were honest they would admit that there never was any cheap and easy solution. If we want adequate healthcare as a nation, it has to be paid for. Nothing is free. It’s as simple as that.

Why shouldn’t those who are financially able have to carry insurance to avoid a penalty tax by the government? People who are financially able have a responsibility to carry their own weight. Why should I be expected to subsidize them by paying higher taxes myself, or higher insurance premiums to support their freeloading?

@Greg:

I dont free load I pay cash to my doctor.
You shouldnt have to subsidize anyone why did the Democrats force you to?
Why did my $500 deducible become illegal to sell to me, so you could have a $5000, why cant you purchase a supplemental health care plan for AHC ? Why couldnt they just keep the program covering pre-existing conditions and leave the rest of the country alone?
Why didnt AHCA solve the problems with emergency room use?

Obamacare has not Solved Emergency Room Over Use Crisis

Greg,

I’m honestly surprised you almost made sense this time. You are absolutely correct, Nothing is FREE and people should have to carry their own weight. So, let’s keep government OUT of…well 99% of what it’s not authorized to be into because as we’ve seen time and time again they mess it up and make matters more expensive and worse.

If we want to see medical costs go down then the one thing government CAN DO is to say that all fees and costs are posted in clear language so people can chose where they go for treatment. Then get rid of all of the useless regulations that only add cost and not care.

@John Galt: Almost was the key phrase!

@John Galt: Greg is using a model of if every wants one the price goes down like flat screen TVs and VCRs, he isnt making the connection of free competition in the mix, no one was obligated to buy either of those things. The government steps in and everything becomes expensive like student loans, did they solve the problem of high debt, they have been in control of that since 2010.

@Greg: Obamacare was born a putrid, rotting corpse. It’s primary function was to take what was $235 billion a year in pre-tax employee contributions to their health care programs and make it taxable. Another purpose was to take a major step towards government health care. It was a scam from the beginning and all it has succeeding in doing is driving the cost of health care and health care insurance skyward.

Why shouldn’t those who are financially able have to carry insurance to avoid a penalty tax by the government?

Mainly because it is un-Constitutional.

@Greg:

Why should I be expected to subsidize them by paying higher taxes myself, or higher insurance premiums to support their freeloading?

This is deflective gibberish. The financially able were already carrying their own weight. This is about more money for the insurance companies by way of government corruption.The Dems pushed this through with their partisan majority, and like any other law or measure done without bi-partisan support (on either side), there is always hell to pay.

Republicans have done everything in their power to break it, methodically kicking out the critical provisions created to keep it working, while proclaiming it was broken to begin with. Their continuous propaganda and efforts at sabotage have been a full-time, nine-year project, as anyone who has paid attention realizes.

Yes. I agree. When one party railroads the other, this is what happens…and I applaud it. Dems broke with generally accepted practices and are now whining about it. I’m glad the Reps have done everything to sabotage this partisan nightmare. The Dems don’t own the country. They have to debate and gain consensus.

Dems have to have an actual platform and win honest elections, not just create hate in the news and win elections by accusing their enemies of rape.

Your party is paying a heavy cost for abandoning its principles to install a foreign-funded demagogue to create a bigger market for insurance companies.

The bill is due. Trump is collecting.

The ACA has been handily broken: no tax. That’s what I wanted, and that’s what I voted for.

@Nathan Blue:

That’s what I wanted, and that’s what I voted for.

You too, that and to stop the dragging of the US into globalism socialist slavery.
