FLASHBACK: When prominent liberals floated an Electoral College coup in 2016

I knew it would be widely denied that prominent liberals floated an Electoral College coup in 2016, which is why I contemporaneously saved a bunch of examples

Plenty more where that came from

Could do this all day, folks

Larry Lessig was really the hottest ticket in town for awhile. What a time to be alive

The thing about media/think tank liberals is that they’re usually slightly more tactful than their right-wing counterparts when “floating” such harebrained schemes. Which gives them greater plausible deniability

But if you squint hard enough it’s usually pretty easy to get the message

Michael Moore on MSNBC’s “All in With Chris Hayes” — December 16, 2016. Three days before the Electoral College formally convened

The examples are endless. Nobody says this is “the same” as what Trump is currently doing. Just something to bear in mind when you hear your favorite left/liberal media figures and operatives screaming about the sanctity of “norms”

Alright, one more. This might’ve been the most celebrated New York Times op-ed of December 2016, when the Electoral College subversion scheme was really gaining elite momentum. Anyone who tries to tell you this stuff didn’t happen is lying

In 2016, several democrats attempted to overthrow an election by voicing objections to the various state electoral counts during the joint session of Congress.

None of the objections met the criteria necessary to adjoins the session and retire to respective chambers for 2’hours of debate.

On January 6, Republicans were properly prepared and if not for the fbi initiated riots, the process would have been underway, Constitutionally.

The democrat party knew the Republicans were well prepared and had an outside chance of prevailing.

The 2020 election was stolen. President Trump won the 2020 election, period full stop.

The accusations of fraud should have been investigated all through November and December. If they were found not credible, so be it, but the questions would be answered. They were NOT investigated; all the evidence and accusations submitted were merely cast aside. The well-founded belief that the election was fraudulent continued and grew, thanks to Democrat suppression.

NO ONE wanted to address a contested election result. I get it. It would have been messy; VERY messy. But, look at the result of evading that responsibility? The WORST excuse for government in US history.

Democrats raise hell about every election they lose, even without a shred of evidence supporting any reason to contest it. 2020 had ample examples that needed to be thoroughly examined… that were all just ignored, expecting them to go away.

Keep in mind, all that dissent is only the result of disappointment with Hillary’s loss. No fraud is accused, only the “collusion” that everyone making the accusation already knows is a total lie. But because they didn’t like the outcome, Democrats wanted to hijack the Electoral College vote and just “install” Hillary, much like idiot Biden has been installed.

That is the reverence Democrats have for “the process”. It’s sacred only when it benefits THEM, and that’s even if they’ve used fraud to achieve that benefit.
