But they weren’t FPD.
They were from out-of-town assisting FPD because of protests.
Protests Obama dog whistled for more of on a comedy TV show just last night!
So, the County and the State will be doing law enforcement in Ferguson now.
If the city coffers dry up (through lack of citations) the decent people will move away to where city services are better.
Look at Compton, CA as an example of how this is going to turn out.
A mixed race local gov’t is replaced by an all-black one.
Corruption abounds.
Heads (black heads) roll.
The state must supervise all city activities for years.

These punk “protesters” think that because they draw no response from the police at these demonstrations, they have cowed the police. This has now ratcheted up to the point where some of these nere-do-wells feel they can intimidate and push back the police.

Because any enforcement of laws and protection of life and property, if is impacts a black person, is deemed improper and racist, rules and laws are ignored and not respected. This has led to the riots and attacks and ultimately the deaths of two officers and the wounding of two others.

More to come. More and much worse to come.

@Nanny G:

If the city coffers dry up (through lack of citations) the decent people will move away to where city services are better.

They’ve already moved. That is why Ferguson is the way it is. It was, not too long ago, a fairly racially mixed blue collar town on the outskirts of St. Louis.
But the corruption at the St. Louis city hall, and the change in school district rules, saw low income blacks flock to Ferguson. The very crime they were fleeing they took with them. 50% of the households in Ferguson are single parent households. When the government is paying your rent, what does it matter where you live?

So when the crime rate escalated in Ferguson, the decent people just moved to another part of St. Louis County. And they were not just white-flighters, the blue collar blacks with jobs at GM or GE, also moved. And Ferguson turned into one big crime ridden ghetto.

Ferguson has become symbolic of what is wrong with the welfare class. And unfortunately, the one man who could have done something to heal racial divide has only exacerbated it with a lot of help from his Attorney General.

Obama could have called on rap artists to end the “gansta” rap as harmful to low income minorities. He did not. He could have talked how respect for the police should be shown. He did not. He could have done more to change the perception of law enforcement officers by low income blacks. He did not. He could have, repeatedly, called for black parents to make sure their kids stay in school. He did not. He could have talked about blacks killing blacks on the streets of Chicago and how that had to stop. He did not. He could have taken the position that getting a high school education, not getting pregnant in your teens, being a father to the children you do have, not doing drugs or adopting the gansta lifestyle was the way to go. He did not. Instead, he poured fuel on a smoldering fire and encouraged the victimization mentality. Only one time did he mention anything about “pull your pants up.”

Like all other things Obama, for him, race relations has been a major fail.
