Eric Holder Personally Targeted Fox Reporter James Rosen – Meaning He Lied To Congress Last Week

sundance @ The Last Refuge:

Attorney General Eric Holder personally signed off on the warrant that allowed the Justice Department to search Fox News reporter James Rosen’s personal email, NBC News’ Michael Isikoff reported Thursday.

The report places Holder at the center of one of the most controversial clashes between the press and the government in recent memory. The warrant he approved named Rosen as a “co-conspirator” in a leak investigation, causing many to warn that the Justice Department was potentially criminalizing journalism. The warrant also approved the tracking of Rosen’s movements in and out of the State Department, as well as his communications with his source, Stephen Kim.

The Justice Department later said that it did not intend to press any charges against Rosen.

The attorney general is usually required to approve requests to search journalists’ materials, but that rule does not extend to email records.

(Holder recused himself from the investigation into the Associated Press, meaning that he absolved himself of that responsibility.) Holder has previously said that he was not sure how many times he had authorized the search of journalists’ records.

Come on.
That is what Eric Holder is.
That is what Eric Holder does.
He lies for the big guy. There is no other reason for his appointment as AG. He is unqualified for the job.
I might observe that he is as unqualified as his boss, but that would be an over reach.
Of course he lied.
His entire tenure has been one long lie.
So get over it.
With a Democratic Senate, Holder is secure.

Apparently, this is true.
A few Fox reporters and commentators have made comments about the chilling effect it has had on them.
Roger Ailes penned a letter to Fox employees.
Here it is:

Good man.
Also, this helps explain why, a couple years back, Obama and his peeps were trying to hard to redefine Fox News as ”not a news organization.”
That way their warrant was not against a ”reporter.”
That tactic backfired on Obama as the rest of the media circled the wagons to protect a fellow news organization, Fox News, despite disagreeing with Fox News’ commentators’ slants.
Heh.

mathman
get over it? no way, he must be fire on this one among other,
why should he stay there as a dummy repeating constantly,
I DUNO, I RECUSE MYSELF< I AM DUMB< IAM CONFUSE< I DON"T REMEMBER,
he has an ALZEIMER PROBLEM and not fit to continue,

So… some pro baseball players get called in front of Congress, to testify to stuff Congress has no business even looking at. In an effort to get the athletes to tell the truth, they are threatened with arrest and prison should they lie or refuse to testify.

So how is it that employees of this administration have nothing to fear should they lie or refuse to testify in business that is important to not only our government but to We the People?
