In a sign of just how detached from reality this White House has become, presidential Chief of Staff Ron Klain urges you to consider the idea that the press is being tougher on President Joe Biden than on his predecessor.
Klain tweeted “for your consideration” with a link to Dana Millbank’s latest Washington Post column — which warns that “the media are serving as accessories to the murder of democracy” by writing critically about Biden’s performance.
“We need a skeptical, independent press. But how about being partisans for democracy? The country is in an existential struggle between self-governance and an authoritarian alternative,” Millbank whines.
In other words, the media should set objectivity aside, lest Republicans stage a comeback. As if people can’t see for themselves that inflation is soaring, the southern border has become a joke, Biden never got around to crushing COVID as he promised and so on.
That’s what’s driving the president’s ever-sinking poll numbers
And never mind that the media did their damnedest to kneecap the Trump presidency, colluding with government insiders to gin up the utterly bogus RussiaGate investigation. (Not that the elite press cares to admit the truth of that even now.)
Heck, Millbank’s own paper never went a day without multiple “Trump is Satan/Hitler” stories. Plus, the media establishment was in the tank for Biden all 2020 long, even suppressing this Post’s Hunter Biden scoops.
Sadly, most liberals still eat up the hysteria, and they’re the lion’s share of Klain’s half-million Twitter followers.

The media had to cover made up lies about Trump or make them up themselves, but what little negative coverage idiot Biden gets is on disasters so enormous that they cannot be ignored. No doubt they want the media to be more like AOC and report stupid shit like, “Aw, Walgreens is just making that looting stuff up.”

The “authoritarian alternative” is currently occupying our WH and Federal Government, and must be ousted.
Trump was and is a democratically-selected normalcy for our Republic. His policies line up with most American’s wishes, and his follow-through is second to none.
Biden is the ragged husk of a machine that is non-democratic. He’s not elected and not in charge of anything.
Trump is a clear and present restoration of our normal fair and free elections, due process, and Constitutional Law.
Biden is the opposite of this, and not to be suffered.
