@Greg:

Convention rules don’t have a damn thing to do with anything at this point.

Actually, they do.

So while it is clear that you have never attended a Democrat convention, as it stands now, super delegates will not be able to vote until the second vote. That could change as the Rules Committee meets and they could determine that super delegates be allowed to vote on the first roll.

With people like Donna Brazile being super delegates, there is no doubt the nomination will be thrown to Anybody But Bernie.

It’s the Democratic Party, bub

We know that, but it’s fun to watch you go all anal over the correct term. Oh, then there is the ever present link to CNN, the people who blow smoke up your rear end while you shout how you enjoy it.

I find it really hilarious that the Democrat Party is now the party of old, white men.

Keep proving you’re an idiot, Comrade Greggie.

@retire05, #51:

Actually, they do. Yada yada yada…

But effects still cannot precede their causes, because that’s not how reality works.

The primary process is not rigged against Bernie Sanders owing to rules yet to be written. The current contest between Sanders and Biden is being decided by primary election voters. It’s presently a close race. People like both of these guys, and a lot of voters would prefer either one of them to Donald Trump.

I find it really hilarious that the Democrat Party is now the party of old, white men.

Who do you think runs The Party of Trump, formerly known as the Republican Party? Trump is an old white man, and far less evolved than most. Advancing age seems to have taught him nothing. I see little kindness in him, and there are few things that matter more.

Democrats have elected more than twice as many women to serve in Congress as Republicans. The graphs showing the ratio of Republican to Democratic female members of the House and Senate by year tell the story.

You really have to keep your eyes wide shut brother. Trump has visited every disaster zone to be with the people, he gives some victims hugs. He never had to do any of this, he could have just lived the life.
He hasnt done anything to show malice to any people. Never described any group as bitter clingers or deplorable. What appeals to the left? The biggest issue, to beat Trump, ok then what? What policy will make more citizens more prosperous and more free? Happiness is a state of mind so that isnt something that the government can ever deliver. The left is great at delivering envy, grievance and dependence.
What really is Barrys legacy? The most visibly uber rich are Democrats, those that they pretend to hate and promise to make pay.

@Greg: Once again,Obama’s jobs were low paying and part time. They stunk. Trump’s jobs are full time, good paying; middle class wages are UP, rising higher than executive wages (narrowing Obama’s “wage gap”). Don’t forget also, Obama had LOST millions and millions of jobs.

Major economic disruptions are coming, and we have few tools left with which to stimulate a flagging economy. I think we’ve probably got a rough ride ahead of us, whoever turns out to be president.

The only tool we need is for the Democrats to stop doing all they can to spread fear and panic. Once the coronavirus panic is over, the economy will be right back to its growing self… UNLESS whichever idiot you choose were to win. By the way, how does it feel to know one of the front runners was considered a useful idiot by the Soviet Union?

Quite a number of them should be in jail for campaign finance fraud, tax fraud or immigration fraud. Is that really something to brag about? Or that lush, Pelosi?

@Deplorable Me: Democrats have elected more than twice as many women to serve in Congress as Republicans.
That might ave something to do with what the media does to conservative women.
I can see Russia from here…..something Palin never uttered. She was attacked for not having an abortion. They are obsessed with Kellyanns marriage.
What did they do to the women running as democrats? Well if you were a black woman you got knocked off fist. Not that she could sleep her way into the office. Warren couldnt win her own state, Amy they sent in BLM thugs.

Once the coronavirus panic is over, the economy will be right back to its growing self…

As in, stock values that will continue rising forever, guaranteeing that everyone who plays will be a winner?

That’s never been how it really works, and never will be. The coronavirus scare is only revealing a truth that has been there all along. Price and value are two different things. Prices have been inflated because demand has driven them up. It’s the difference between the two things that results in huge swings from one day to the next.

@Greg: Your understanding of the market is a bit weak, 80 % of all trading is done by computers. They are programed to sell when the odds of future market losses increase.
I went to bed last night and futures were down by 200, this morning when I woke up the market was down by 900 points.
It has little to do with if a company is well run and profitable.
“The rise of algorithm-based trading means that there are in these algorithms some levels which trigger sell-off, i.e. sell orders.
Learn the algorithm and become wildly rich like Bloomberg, or those in silicon valley.
The intra-day sell-off is driven by these pre-set sell orders, which come programed in these algorithms automatically.”
Clorox which is selling like crazy the stock right now is down 2.39 a share. But in general up from the 28th.
Mastercard and Visa both down, are people using cash?
I can see travel being hit hard.
