The Department of Homeland Security notified 21 states Friday that Russian hackers attempted unsuccessfully to interfere with their voting systems in the 2016 election.
DHS reported that no votes were changed by Russian hacking, Reuters reports. DHS refused to disclose which state governments it approached, but Wisconsin officials made it known that they were among the group.
Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Michael Haas said that he was informed that “Russian government cyber actors” targeted his state’s voter registration systems.
But, Trump helped them, right? Or was it them helping Trump?

It wasn’t vulnerable voting machines that were hacked—although the Department of Homeland Security has uncovered evidence of Russian hacking efforts involving voter data bases in 21 separate states.
It was voters themselves who were targeted and hacked, by way of email and social media posts and messaging.
You’re presenting an obvious straw man. No one is claiming that the Russians altered the outcome of the election by hacking voting machines. The concern is that they altered the outcome of the election by deviously manipulating public opinion.

Why would Russia prefer Trump over Clinton? We had the reset , the more flexibility and a look the other way foreign policy toward Russia under Obama. Clinton would continue it. Trump was an unknown. It’s all left wing speculation and blind hopes driven by hatred of Trump.

Notice how deftly and quickly the butt-hurt liberal can pivot from hacking and interference to emails and messages. Regardless of the avenue, the Russians were just as effective, in the sore loser mind, no matter what new action is imagined.
Supposedly the Russians sunk $100,000 in ads to change 200 million minds. Don’t they pay attention? Obama plowed $350,000 into making the Israeli election turn out the way he wanted it and failed; did the Russians think they could accomplish their goals with less than a third of that? Silly Russians. Silly Putin.

Donald Trump did nothing during his campaign but punch a panel of meme buttons that the GOP and right-wing media personalities had worked for years to set up. As observed long before Election Day, the GOP had previously moved opportunistically in and stolen the Tea Party’s horse. They had it all warmed up and ready for a presidential campaign ride, when Donald Trump suddenly ran in, jumped on its back, and dug in the spurs. He’d been waiting for just such a chance for years. His main talent has always been the ability to recognize an exploitable situation.
Funny the only ones caught trying to hack into election machines was the DHS under BHO, then they admitted to the media they were listening in on Trumps campaign, not finding anything they begin Russian rumors, weaponizing 6 intelligence agencies to bring down the Republican candidate, now a special prosecutor. Lets get one of those for Hillary, completely comprised of Trump loving lawyers, give them unlimited funds to investigate.

The DNC froze out all the candidates but Hillary because it was her turn; she was the superstar that would maintain liberal power in the White House. The DNC gave up on presenting viable, competent candidates and choose, instead, celebrity and/or gimmicks (first black, first woman, first felon, etc) to garner popularity. Hillary was an awful candidate because she is an awful person. Though Trump defeated 16 Republican contenders, certainly he would have had a difficult time defeating anyone but Hillary. The fact she was fielded at all confirms the dementia of the Democrat party.
Now, where are those mind-altering ads the Russians wielded against us?
Look on any of your favorite alt-right propaganda sites. You’ll probably find much of the same material that got the “son of a bitch” elected—to quote one of the phrases Trump used today speaking at a rally with regard to another public figure. Let’s try a variant: We need to get that lying “son of a bitch” out of the White House. How would you like hearing statements like that? I’m guessing you wouldn’t.
I think his use of that phrase was over the line—but entirely typical. I am not proud of this President. I cringe every time he gets up in front of an audience, presumably representing my country. His attitudes are an embarrassment. His language is an embarrassment. His ignorance is an embarrassment. His bullying is an embarrassment. Should this man be a role model for our children?
He does not get a pass. If he started out having one—and Lord only knows why he should have—he has sure as hell worn it out through overuse. He wore it out before election day.

The economy is better, confidence is higher, national security is improved, unemployment is REALLY down and the only thing that has gotten worse is left wing butt-hurt over the most deserved to lose candidate in history getting beaten.
