The left and media claim President Donald Trump refused to denounce white supremacy.

The debate transcript tells a different story.

As Emily Jashinsky at The Federalist noted, you can have issues with how Trump handled the question.

After he said “sure” I think he should have expanded on the answer. But you cannot change the definition of “sure.” Chris Wallace asked Trump if he was willing to condemn white supremacy. Trump said “sure.”

Then Trump said, “Yes, I am willing to do it.”

Trump said “sure” and “yes.” Therefore he answered the question. Should he have gone further? Yes.

But do not misinform people about his answer. Saying “willing” does not mean Trump “refused” to condemn white supremacy.

With each passing day the M.S. Media hammers another nail in the coffin of Public Trust

@Spurwing Plover:

stopped watching even the evening weather report. Most news gathered from blogs and independent networks: powerline, American Thinker, American Greatness, American Story, powerhouse new, dc dirty laundry, news buster(very good at exposing the filthy communist media), and can not forget the satire of Babylon Bee.
if one listened to the major network news, the topic and issues parrell every teleprompter reader all with in a 1-2 mn. interval.

Democrats desperately try to keep that “Trump is racist” dialogue open. To do so, they must lie consistently, something they are quite adept at. Pity Wallace didn’t ask Biden about his racist remarks, like segregation turning our schools into “racial jungles”. But, where the racism actually resides has to remain hidden.
