Dear anti-Trump protesters, this temper tantrum is truly embarrassing

Loading

Matt Walsh:

Thousands of angry and presumably unemployed people across the country have taken to the streets. They’re marching, as you’ve probably heard, in protest of Donald Trump’s victory. Nobody is quite sure what’s accomplished by protesting the legitimate result of a free and fair election — least of all do the protesters themselves understand their own purpose — but they march on anyway. As is often the case with these left wing demonstrations, it’s more about venting confused frustration than accomplishing anything of substance or communicating any kind of coherent message. Also, it’s an excuse to participate in the cherished liberal custom of burning American flags.

Others have reacted even less rationally. If you had walked cross the campus at Cornell on Wednesday morning, you may have found students sitting on the ground, drawing pictures, and sobbing uncontrollably. A “cry in,” they called it. Yes, a cry in. I continue to beseech the good Lord that He give me the grace not to laugh at these people, but, man, do they make it hard.

As leftists weep, wail, and accuse 60 million American men and women of misogyny, the rest of us can only conclude that, truly, this defeat could not have happened to a more deserving bunch. More evidence: two protesters in Oakland last night explained to a CNN reporter that they’re tired of the “broke ass” people in middle America who “give them sh*t about their values.” One said she had to flee the Midwest in order to be around “open minds” and “diversity.” Another agreed, adding that the rest of the country “needs to adopt” her “environmental values.” You see, they value open minds and diversity so much that they wish to mandate their opinions nationwide. And they’re so fed up with Hatred and Bigotry that they just need to lash out at all of the dumb, poor, ugly rednecks who live between the coasts.

Again, how does a person keep from laughing at this nonsense?

Beyond the incoherence and hypocrisy of this whole thing (by the way, remember when the media fretted that Trump and his supporters wouldn’t accept the results of the election?), what jumps out at me most is the astounding arrogance and the staggering sense of entitlement on display here. It is exactly this arrogance and entitlement from left wing metropolitans that largely led to Trump’s victory in the first place, but that is yet another fact which these college educated geniuses are too stupid to see.

The mantra of the Left this week has been “He’s not my president.” As hundreds marched down the streets of Chicago, they chanted “Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go.” Others insisted that Trump “doesn’t represent the United States.” I thought we could take a look at these slogans one at a time.

First, “he’s got to go”? No, he doesn’t. He was elected according to the laws of this country. He got 290 electoral votes. Where do you expect him to go — besides to the White House? In fact, why don’t the people chanting this little ditty just cut to the chase, like some of their counterparts, and call for Trump’s assassination? I’m not sure what else you could be suggesting when you call for the ouster of a man who was legitimately elected, and who has not yet done anything to warrant removal from office considering he hasn’t been in office. Can you imagine if thousands of white people had taken to the streets after Obama’s election and chanted something similar? Is there any doubt that the media would take their protests as a violent, racist insurrection?

Second, “he’s not my president”? Yes, he is. He’s your president. That’s how this works. He was elected and now he’s your president. He may not be the president you wanted, he may not be a president you like, but he’s still the president. Just as there are many laws and taxes that I don’t want and don’t like, but still I find that they apply to me regardless of how I emotionally receive them. I can no more declare “This is not myfederal income tax” than you can declare “He’s not my president.” The rain falls on us all. So do taxes and presidential elections. Sorry. That’s life, kids. Deal with it.

Third, “he doesn’t represent the United States”? Yes, he does. He was elected by the United States. He got 60 million votes. Even if he’s not who you wanted, he’s clearly what a large portion of your fellow citizens preferred, given the choices. This is maybe the most arrogant statement of all because it suggests that middle America is not the “real” United States. What the citizens in those regions want does not “represent the country” because they don’t count, or at least they don’t count as much as the brilliant and thoroughly educated city folk. Again, the anti-Trump protesters unwittingly vindicate the Trump voters by behaving like sneering, elitist, contemptuous snobs.

But all of the protests add up to nothing in the end, because Trump will still be president. That is the fact of the matter. You may not like the facts but they are still facts. No matter what sign you hold or what slogan you chant, you cannot change the facts at the moment. Indeed, you can’t change them even if you, as one protester suggested, “sue the United States of America” (remember, Trump voters are the uneducated ones). Surprisingly, you also can’t change the facts by constructing a replica of Trump’s head out of paper mache and setting it on fire. The facts remain the facts all the same.

What this all amounts to, then, is a temper tantrum. For the first time Millennials have not gotten their way in a presidential election, and it appears that a great number of us simply cannot handle it. An inability and unwillingness to cope with reality has always been a defining feature of my generation, and never has it been more prominently and embarrassingly displayed. That’s why protests and riots, though they have not been the standard reaction to a presidential election in America up until this point, may well be the new normal with my generation at the helm.

Misogyny… So, were all the Democrats sexist that denied Hillary the nomination in 2008?

Look at the map that shows the counties that went for Hillary. Big cities, where government dependency runs rampant and the border areas of California and Texas… gee, I wonder who was voting in record numbers there? Citizens all?

The areas that voted Hillary are comprised of the same titty-baby taffy-asses that are ducking their responsibilities as computer gamers and comic book traders and demanding the revocation of the electoral process that has stood for 240 years… because them got their widdle feewings hurt.

They’re angry because they believe republicans are replacing a model of presidential decorum and rational governance with a vindictive nincompoop who will most likely leave the country in shambles. I hope they’re wrong, but I fully understand their concerns.

Oh just go back to your room and stay there until either 2020 or 2024 you spoiled little brats your all a bunch of pathetic little snot buckets who should be ashamed

You notice that it is only the liberals who perform destructive demonstrations. The feel entitled! Then they say they support a democratic form of government.

Randy. Their all a bunch of bolsheveks and commie scum suckers the kind Joe McCarthy warned us about

@Greg:

You unwittingly just described the last 7+ years…..

nincompoop who will most likely leave the country in shambles.

http://moonbattery.com/graphics/pink-slips.jpg

Ever since the Democrats lost the House in 2010, due to the failure of liberalism, violence has been on the rise. Liberalism has been on the wane ever since, with only Obama’s personal popularity (which baffles me) keeping it limping along. However, with each election, liberals lose more power and influence and a simultaneous rise in violence against police, communities and political opposition.

The left is desperate and dangerous.

@Greg:
And what if he doesn’t? What will it take for you to admit that? The country voted for change. It did not want 4 or 8 more years of what we just went through. Which HRC would have continued. By your measure Obama was a rousing success. So with that the bar is now really low for Trump to succeed. We will all have to watch and see if he actually does.
Do you recall Obama fussing that GWB running the debt up 4 trillion was un-American and un-patriotic, but his running it up 10 trillion was no big deal. Can you spot the hypocrisy?
Do you believe if HRC had won the streets would be filled with tea party protesters or the same level of protests going on? If you believe that you are living in an alternate universe. What we are seeing in the streets is the intolerant left in it’s natural immature misguided state.
So now lets watch as the Democrats become the party of NO.

most of the protestors are unemployed and bused in to the cities. setting public trees on fire, garbage and trash can and the destruction of both public and private property is a felony. sooo where are the cops???? or have they be told to stand down in the major cities.
big changes will occur on 1/20/17 before the sun sets on DC. bogus climate control and demorat trade deal will fall not to think of the voluminous amounts of exec order that will be voided

@Greg:

They’re angry because they believe republicans are replacing a model of presidential decorum and rational governance with a vindictive nincompoop who will most likely leave the country in shambles. I hope they’re wrong, but I fully understand their concerns.

Well, let’s just wait and see if Trump allows his Attorney General to run guns to Mexican cartels, uses the IRS to attack his opponents (though the tax exempt status of some groups, like Media Matters SHOULD be examined) or declares Americans that have different opinions are “enemies that must be punished”. Let’s wait and see if Trump implores Americans to inform on other Americans that disagree with him.

The “decorum” of the past administration left MUCH to be desired. But, I suppose if all the oppression and harassment is directed at someone else, it’s OK?

The left truly shows they are nothing but a mob of spoiled teenagers. They pushed their irrational groupthink feelgoodism insanity and now are revealing their immaturity when rational adults have decided to put an end to the disasterous policies of irresponsible self-harm that are the very essence of leftist ideology.

Listening to leftist crybabies wail about inclusiveness, as they demand exclusion of any differing opinion.

Leftist calls for someone to use a gun to assasinate the duly elected president, after demanding gun confiscation for decades.

Leftist characterization of “sexism” against Hillary, after the despicable manner by which the left attacked Palin.

Leftist shrieking about “racism” because 58% of whites voted for Trump, but denying charges of racism while over 96% of blacks voted for Obama in his 2012 election.

The left is only consistent about doing whatever they think is necessary to take and hold power. Their opponents are always supposed to bend at the knees whenever the left has power to impose idiotic laws, but when the right has power, the left insists that nothing can ever be imposed upon them.

The left is analogous to the spouse, who when caught cheating, refuses to acknowledge their wrongdoing, but insists on blaming their spouse for pushing the cheater into infidelity. It couldn’t possibly have been that Hillary’s nasty character, criminality, and the likely continuation of Obama’s failed policies were rejected by the voters. To the self-absorbed left, it HAD to be the collective “badthink” of white, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, uneducated rednecks who engage in incest.

The schadenfreude of asking a leftist, who adamantly insists upon the alleged superior intelligence of leftists over rightwing neanderthals, as to how the left was so soundly defeated by a suppossedly less intelligent right, is magically delicious.

@Mully, #8:

And what if he doesn’t? What will it take for you to admit that?

I would be happy to be wrong, but the evidence so far supports my expectations. People claimed Trump’s behavior would change once he won the republican primaries. It didn’t. He got even worse. Why should I expect it will change once he assumes office? For Trump, winning the election was like being awarded the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. His negative behaviors have once again been rewarded. Trump will be Trump. Why should he change?

Three Executive Vice Presidents of Donald Trump’s business organization have now been named as part of his presidential transition team. They also happen to be his children. How’s that for a giant step away from any conflicts of interest? Maybe it’s another one of those warning signs that’s so obvious none of his supporters can see it. Do you really believe they’ll have no inside information about how presidential policy decisions could affect their foreign and domestic business activities?

I see no reason why I should think Trump supporters will pick up on this as a problem. People still don’t seem to understand the significance of the Cheney/Halliburton connection.

@Greg:

You have missed the biggest announcement yet regarding the transition team……

Krispie Kreme is out…

VP elect Mike Pence now heading the team, the horizon just got brighter

Poor Christie. I could almost feel sorry for him. He keeps being loyal, and Trump keeps giving him occasional kicks.

Another indication of things to come, missed back in September:

The Secret Service Is Paying Taxpayer Money to a Trump-Owned Company

Stop letting Greg try his Alinsky tactics of changing the subject. (For the record, Buzzfeed has posted the leaked list of some folks being considered for Trump’s cabinet. As Christie is listed as a potential pick for a number of positions, it is appropriate for him to no longer head the transition team.) This is more nonsense from leftists like Greg to distract from the childish tantrums, violence and racism coming from leftists around the country:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/riot-declared-in-portland-oregon-amid-new-wave-of-anti-trump-demos/

In Portland, police declared a riot Thursday night, citing “extensive criminal and dangerous behavior” and tweeting that they were getting increasing reports of vandalism and aggressiveness as people marched through the city. They labeled some protesters “anarchists.”

Marchers were spray-painting buildings, the station said. People were throwing projectiles at officers at one point and significant damage was done at a car dealership, police said. Multiple news outlets posted videos and photos of vehicle windows smashed out.

These are the “educated” and “inclusive” leftists who think they are above the law. Funny how there were no riots like this from those who were unhappy with the extreme leftist Obama’s election victories.

http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2016/11/10/third-night-oakland-trump-protests-turns-violent/

These poor little wallflowers, used to getting ‘participation trophies’ as they sneer at those who accomplish things by the merit of hard work, are having anxiety attacks and have to have their classes cancelled. What utterly contemptible weaklings.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/442083/donald-trump-school-closing-2016

It’s everywhere. A professor at University of Michigan postponed an exam after too many students complained about their “very serious” stress. Columbia University postponed midterms, a Yale University professor made an exam optional, a University of Iowa professor canceled classes and a University of Connecticut professor excused class absences — all because their students just absolutely could not function knowing that they’d have to live in a country where their president would not be the president that they wanted. And it’s not even just the students — a University of Rochester professor canceled all of his meetings with students the day after the election because he decided he just could not bear to talk about it with them.

These pathetic wailers think they should ever be placed into positions of responsibility or decision-making? How the hell do these crybabies get out of bed in the morning? Can you imagine colleges cancelling classes or exams when Obama won election in 2008 and 2012? These people are mentally deranged and emotionally broken, and have no business making decisions for themselves, much less anyone else.

And the complete lack of self-awareness and leftist hypocrisy is mind-boggling:

http://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2016/11/10/because-tolerance-die-whites-die-spray-painted-on-lee-circle-monument-in-new-orleans-msm-silent/

Pro-Hillary thugs chanting “die whites die” at New Orleans. Yep, love trumps hate. Liberal tolerance. No “reverse” racism in America. RIGHT.

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2016/11/11/samantha-bee-white-people-ruined-america/

Wednesday on TBS’s “Full Frontal,” while discussing President-elect Donald Tump’s victory in her monologue, host Samantha Bee said it was “pretty clear” who ruined America: white people.

Bee said, “In the coming days, people will be looking for someone to blame: the pollsters, the strident feminists, the Democratic party, a vengeful god. But once you dust for fingerprints, it’s pretty clear who ruined America: white people.

http://www.lennyletter.com/politics/a608/dont-agonize-organize/

And the arguably unbalanced self-hater Lena Dunham adds to the evidence of feminist insanity with this example of the self-declared “educated” leftist ideology:

We believed that on November 9, they’d be licking their wounds while we celebrated. It is painful on a cellular level knowing those men got what they wanted, just as it’s painful to know you are hated for daring to ask for what is yours. It’s painful to know that white women, so unable to see the unity of female identity, so unable to look past their violent privilege, and so inoculated with hate for themselves, showed up to the polls for him, too

Notice, in all of these (and every other example) that the leftist crybabies do not discuss the obvious policy failures of their pseudo-intellectual hero Obama, nor Hillary’s character flaws, criminal behaviors, nor lack of actually accomplishing anything other than reverse carpet-bagging a NY senate seat and being given a Sec State seat for 4 years as a consolation prize for being unable to beat Obama in 2008. They have been brainwashed into believing that Trump – and any other person who disagrees with the anti-American, pro-jihadist, pro-marxist, pro-homogamy/transgender ideology – are the reincarnation of Hitler. They are so “educated” that they cannot fathom that Hitler was a SOCIALIST, nor that their very immature tantrums are absolutely confirming to the real Americans in the rest of the country that voting against Hillary and the left was 100% correct.

It is time to drain the swamp. Not just of political cretins like Obama, Clinton, Reid, Weiner, Pelosi, et al. It is time to speak out in support of American traditions that made our nation great. It is time to stop tolerating the leftist penchant for shouting down views which oppose their fascism. It is time to stop playing by Robert’s Rules of Order while the left riots and trashes any pretense of civility. Have the courage to call out the blatant stupidity, racism, sexism and hypocrisy of the left. Stop buying things from people who spit on your beliefs, and call for micturating on the Constitution. Do you really want to have your hard earned money taken by Starbucks to be donated to another leftist agitprop group? Is your life going to be harmed if you decline to buy a ticket to see some asshat leftist actor who later insults your beliefs? Does it make any sense for you to pay any portion of your hard-earned money towards the salaries of ungrateful athletes – earning millions of dollars for PLAYING A GAME – who denigrates our nation?

Look at these protestors. Typically young, very full of themselves, and all based on their brainwashed misperceptions of reality presented in the form of blatant propaganda from the MSM, the film industry, and yes, the close-minded pseudo-intellectuals in academia. It’s a macrocosmic version of those old 1980’s Dr. Pepper commercials, with people dancing and singing a message that boils down to “Hey! Be ORIGINAL! Drink Dr. Pepper….just like everyone else around you!” It’s ludicrous, but an unfortunate development of the obsessive desire for belonging to the herd, as our culture has turned against the notion that individual achievement is something to be considered laudable.

This is an opportunity to reverse the course of the nation away from the fundamentally flawed ideology of collectivist self-enslavement, and back towards the constitutionally based rule of law, and individual liberty.

@Greg: Look at Trump’s demeanor now that the election is over. Also note his demeanor until he was attacked by others.

But, what about the silence of Hillary and Obama over the uprising of their followers against a legal election? Or their denouncing of left wing violence at any time… they never seem to.

Three Executive Vice Presidents of Donald Trump’s business organization have now been named as part of his presidential transition team. They also happen to be his children.

John Kennedy named his brother as Attorney General. And?

@Greg:
Sorry I wasted my time reading your reply. Hope you get a big box of clues for Christmas. You seem to be out.

@Pete, #16:

Stop letting Greg try his Alinsky tactics of changing the subject.

You seem to want to keep the subject away from anything relating to the fact that you’ve elected a guy who was never vetted on obvious issues that should have been resolved before he was ever nominated as the GOP’s presidential candidate. As a result, you’re going to have a new president marching into the White House followed by a line of baggage porters a mile long. Your president elect is going to be called into court to answer charges of fraud before he’s even sworn in. That’s only one bag, and it isn’t even the most problematic one. His lawyers are trying to get the trial deferred yet again, now arguing that we can’t let such concerns get in the way of his installation of president. That hear-no-evil-see-no-evil mentality is what got us to this point without taking even a first look inside the bags to begin with.

I don’t know why anyone should have to be pointing this out. It’s all obvious. People should be smart enough to figure it out for themselves.

@Pete: They are throwing Trumper tantrums

@Greg: How much court time would Hillary be putting in had she managed to fraudulently win the election? Most likely, she would have been impeached in her first year. You’re going to dehydrate, crying all those sore loser tears.

Clinton has been investigated, more fully than any other presidential nominee, on every issue that has come to her opponents’ minds. The result? There hasn’t been enough evidence to charge her with anything.

She’s no longer your problem. You managed to torpedo her in spite of that. It took some highly questionable actions on the part of people who by law should have had no input into the election process, but it was accomplished. The result is that now you’ve got a guy you never bothered to look at closely about to assume the role of president. All of the stuff that was totally ignored is still there, waiting to be noticed.

@Greg: Correction; there has been no DESIRE to prosecute within a corrupt DOJ that puts politics before justice. That is about to change.

@Greg:

My, my such sour grapes. You have soiled yourself again, get some depends.

Mrs clinton escaped the rule of law because her boss would have been shown for the traitor he is. Your contention that no evidence existed is laughable

@Bill- Deplorable Me, #23:

Don’t hold your breath. The investigation, having served its political purpose, will be of no further use to the GOP, while reexamining the facts holds the very real danger of revealing there was nothing there to begin with. They’re done with it. They’re also done with Benghazi.

@Greg:

What is obvious, Greg, is that in spite of never-ending anti-Trump propaganda, the leftist candidate propped up during the campaign could not convince the voters to elect her over Trump. The 8 years of destructive “Hope and Change” were rejected, despite the constant drumbeat from the arrogant left as they sniffed derisively against those of us too “uneducated” to appreciate the touted glories of another hardcore leftist tyrant.

Trump won MICHIGAN, WISCONSIN and PENNSYLVANIA. That is how horrible a candidate Clinton was.

Obama and the left had 8 years to make leftist ideology work. They failed catastrophically. The country has had enough of progressive stupidity, and said so on Tuesday.

@Pete, #26:

What is obvious, Greg, is that in spite of never-ending anti-Trump propaganda, the leftist candidate propped up during the campaign could not convince the voters to elect her over Trump.

What is obvious is that you either can’t count, or prefer not to.

Hillary Clinton convinced more American voters that she was the best choice. Her current official total now stands at 60,828,358 votes, while Donald Trump’s total is 60,261,924. Clinton beat his count by 566,434 votes—well over half-a-million people.

Trump is president elect only because of how the Electoral College system works—not because more voters thought he was the better choice. More Americans thought Trump was the wrong choice.

@Greg:

You fail to understand that the votes either candidate received are only the votes counted. All votes cast are not counted for a number of reasons.

States don’t count their absentee ballots unless the number of outstanding absentee ballots is larger than the state margin of difference. If there is a margin of 1,000 votes counted and there are 1,300 absentee ballots outstanding, then the state tabulates those. If the number of outstanding absentee ballots wouldn’t influence the election results, then the absentee ballots aren’t counted.

Who votes by absentee ballot? Students overseas, the military, businesspeople on trips, etc. The historical breakout for absentee ballots is about 67-33% Republican. In 2000, when Al Gore “won” the popular vote nationally by 500,000 votes and the liberal media screamed bloody murder, there were 2 million absentee ballots in California alone. A 67-33 breakout of those yields a 1.33- to 0.667-million Republican vote advantage, so Bush would have gotten a 667,000-vote margin from California’s uncounted absentee ballots alone! So much for Gore’s 500,000 popular vote “victory.” (That was the headline on the N.Y. Times, and it was the lead story on NBC Nightly News, right? No? You’re kidding.)

Read more: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/11/hillary_wins_the_popular_vote__not_

@Greg: Yes, she is a PROBLEM. First, we put people in jail for doing far less than what she did with classified information. Second, the law applies to everyone… even the high and mighty Clinton’s. Third, it sends a dangerous precedent to let her walk. What keeps people following the laws is the threat of the imposition of penalties. Once that threat of penalty is removed, there is no incentive to follow laws. The proof of this is seen in the functioning of our government agencies; there is no threat of accountability so the result is poor performance, graft and corruption.

There’s a reason why there is so much speculation as to whether Obama will pardon Hillary… she NEEDS a pardon.

More Americans thought Trump was the wrong choice.

This has happened in three elections yet that is simply a historical curiosity, not a reason to whine.

@Greg:

What pathetic desperatism, Greg. You can wail, stomp your feet and stick your fingers in your ears all you want, but the only count that matters is the one by which our Constitutional Federal Republic has elected presidents for over 200 years, the Electoral College. By that count, Trump won in a landslide. He won more states, as well. Just because the mobs of the left coast and the NE wallowed in their groupthink echo chambers does not mean Trump lost. Rules are rules, and no amount of childish leftist tantrums changes the outcome.

This isn’t something that the left can get overturned through judicial fiat, nor through the violence of leftist trolls rioting on the west coast. These acts by immature spoiled brats along with the limp-wristed wimps claiming anxiety attacks over Trump’s victory such that they can’t even go to their college classes do nothing but demonstrate the absolute unfitness of the left to ever have political power. Hillary is reported to have CRIED over losing this election, and I am supposed to believe she was fit to be commander-in-chief?

Ah, whatever. We’re unlikely ever to agree about Trump, unless you discover he’s an investment partner of Vladimir Putin and a Junior KGB Agent, or I discover he has a hidden talent for statesmanship. For the record, in my opinion the protesters are an embarrassment. Some have been behaving like hooligans. This is totally unacceptable. It makes them everybody’s problem, not part of anybody’s solution. Also for the record, nobody with a brain has any expectation that the Electoral College will change anything.

I’ll have to console myself with the thought that, if nothing else, the formation of a Trump administration is going to be interesting to watch. Democratic voters might as well just take their seats, pop some popcorn, and wait to see what happens. Republican voters may not be in a situation that’s all that much different. The republican primary election wasn’t the resolution of their internal divisions and issues. That was just a preliminary skirmish.

Trump team rivalries spark infighting

@Greg:

Here is a novel idea. How about unleashing the American people in innovation, job creation, economic growth and retreating the oppressive governmental dictates that have bound the American individual for more than 100 years.

Lets let Americans choose their own health care, the education for their children and most of all, how they choose to spend the money they earn.

It is immoral to take the personal property of one(by the force of government) and give to another. The welfare entitlement system needs to go in 90% of the cases. Government needs to be slashed significantly.

The EPA should be dissolved along with the Department of Education, Energy and a host of others.

No more unconstitutional regulations forced upon the American people by an unaccountable unelected bureaucracy.

Repeal of the 17th amendment. Discontinue national elections for the senate and return the action of appointing senators to the states where it belongs.

These are but a few of the things that would restore the original intent of self governance of this Country.

One must only look over the last 100+ years since the importation of European socialism to see the adverse effects of modern liberalism.

Only one who is unpatriotic and anti American, Greg, would oppose restoration of the single greatest formation of self governance in world history.

Or you could be, which might already be the case, one of the thousands of snowflakes who rested their future hopes on an unindicted felon, a morally corrupt individual and deplorable person, mrs clinton.

The Canada Free Press has a theory as to why Obama and Soros are fomenting these ”riots.”

Obama wants protection. He wants guarantees from Trump that he will be shielded from something he or somebody right next to him is totally guilty of.

Obama’s ”legacy” is toast.
All his phone and pen crap can be wiped out immediately after President Trump is sworn in.
As to his legislative accomplishments there is only one: ObamaCare.
And Republicans have put repeal of it on Obama’s own desk twice…..they will do it for Trump and see it signed.
But one of the more overlooked things Obama has done is embed filthy, corrupt people in the departments of the Cabinet.
We’ve seen them undermine Law and Order in the IRS, the DOJ, the Dept of Education, the EPA, the State Dept, and the Dept of Homeland Security.
Many of the good people, lifers, had to quit.
But some of them are still there, waiting.
The riots are going to go on and on until the nation (read Trump) gets ready to ”forgive and forget.
And not JUST the rioters.
Obama’s bad actors in gov’t.
Even Obama, himself.
THAT’s what he’s allowing all the rioting to go on and on for.
His own head is in danger.

But I don’t expect a President Trump to forgive and forget.
He will let Obama and Soros ”own” these riots.
He’s not in power, yet, you see.

‘Common-Sense Legislation’ Would Shield Drivers Who Run Over Protesters
U.S. News ^ | Feb. 13, 2017

Drivers who run into protesters would be protected from lawsuits under new proposed legislation in Tennessee.

The bill offered by a pair of Republicans would apply only to instances in which drivers are “exercising due care” when they strike someone “participating in a protest or demonstration” that is “blocking traffic in a public right-of-way.”

A second clause in the half-page bill clarifies, “A person shall not be immune from civil liability if the actions leading to the injury were willful or wanton.”

That distinction sometimes can be fuzzy. Last month, a man drove through a group of protesters in Nashville and wound up with several of them on his hood. He said they jumped onto the car, they said he struck them.

As for me, I just need to know what is the maximum speed this law would protect. I can then set my cruise control to that speed as I approach the meat wall.
