While we’re busy re-writing history on Michael Brown, let’s not forget his own “best friend” recanted his story that his hands were up.
Also that he was widely depicted as a “gentle giant.” (Who liked to go for the throats of those challenging him.)
Every one of these revisionist history stories ought to be prefaced with a bit of classical history based on the facts of the case and situation.
Yes, he CHARGED the officer.
Yes, he tried to take the officer’s gun and hit him while he was in his patrol vehicle.
Revisionist history as well as newspeak language (dealt drugs does not = him being a drug dealer) needs to be stood side-by-side with actual facts.
