During a heated discussion over gay marriage, CNN morning Anchor Chris Cuomo opined that the unalienable rights endowed to all Americans do not come from God.
Cuomo was debating Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore on the constitutionality of same-sex marriage. Near the end of the back-and-forth and after Moore argued that rights cannot be handed down by men, Cuomo blurted out:
“Our rights do not come from God, your honor, and you know that. They come from man… That’s your faith, that’s my faith, but that’s not our country. Our laws come from collective agreement and compromise.”
Ahem:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”
You’d think a guy named Cuomo would be familiar with someone named John F. Kennedy who said:
“The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God”
What makes liberals so stupid?
Does stupidity come from man or from G-d?
Liberals are purposefully ignorant and demonstrate this every time they debate a conservative — you can see the fragility of their worldview and the dearth of their experience. For Chris Cuomo to not even know the BASICS of the governance of the country in which he dwells is par for the course. Think of it like this — every conservative is well-versed in the thought patterns and attacks of liberals, while liberals are completely ignorant of those of conservatives. You see this above, and you see this in nearly every spot on the interwebz. Liberals refuse to accept what others say about themselves and insist that they know their enemies better than their enemies do, and that is a large part of the reason they remain ignorant.
@Sidney Raphael: It comes from God. We all have stupidity in us, but it is a matter of whether or not we allow stupidity to overrule what we know is right.
Liberals allow stupidity to overwhelm what is actually right. This is why they have to lie so much.
@Bill: I am a Christian. How can we KNOW our rights come from God? We can believe, have faith. Know with certainty? I think not.
To say that Liberals lie more than Conservatives is certainly not confirmed by the postings here at F.A.

@Rich Wheeler: How about priority? The first people had rights! When they created government, their rights were limited. Who do you suppose provided the first people with the rights they enjoyed? Think Rich! Do not just spout party line and you will be respected here!
