Joe Biden on Sunday signed yet another executive order, this one aimed at directing the federal government to expand vote-by-mail and spread use its full resources to spread information about the process across the nation, as reported by the New York Post.

At the signing, Biden declared that the order would “make it easier for eligible voters to register to vote and improve access to voting,” further adding that “every eligible voter should be able to vote and improve access to voting. Every eligible voter should be able to vote and have that vote counted,” even though there are no efforts to suppress such votes in the country.

The order demands that all federal agencies use their resources and infrastructure to spread information about how to register to vote, how to apply for vote-by-mail, and expand the General Service Administration’s Vote.gov website. The order also allows for federal employees to seek time off from work in order to vote, and volunteer or work as poll workers, even though this could easily be interpreted as being in violation of their duties.

Following the signing, Biden also falsely claimed that “we have seen an unprecedented insurrection in our Capitol and a brutal attack on our democracy on January 6th. A never before seen effort to ignore, undermine, and undo the will of the people.”
