Biden handed Putin to Xi

My opposition to sanctions against Russia was always twofold.

First, sanctions do not work. Sanctions against North Korea for 70 years did not deter Kim Jon Un from acquiring nuclear weaponry. Sanctions against Cuba for 60 years did not deter Fidel Castro from acquiring a billion-dollar net worth. Sanctions against Iran for 40 years did not deter the ayatollahs from acquiring nuclear weaponry.

Second, Biden’s sanctions forced Russia to turn east and ally with Red China. Biden is a fool who believes NATO is the leader of the world. It represents less than 10% of the world, is largely old and its birth rate barely keeps up with its death rate.

Under Biden’s sanctions, the ruble strengthened and the euro weakened.

Nixon saw cleavage between the Soviet Union and Red China a half century ago. He widened the gap, which helped the USSR collapse.

Biden has brought the two together again. I said it earlier.

Biden diplomacy failed. Don’t take my word for it. I am just a thousandaire. The richest man in the world said it.

Collin Rugg of Trending Politics tweeted, “While everyone is distracted with Trump’s impending arrest, President Xi just called Putin his dear friend.

“Thanks to Joe Biden, America is divided while our two strongest adversaries are now united.”

Elon Musk tweeted back, “Inevitable. U.S. diplomacy skill is bronze tier.”

Before Musk bought Twitter a few months ago, his tweet would have been censored because it criticized the government — the government that funded Twitter’s censorship.

Last month, Craig Mellow of Barron’s wrote, “Russia Sanctions Haven’t Failed. They Just Need Time.”

He assured us, “It’s way too early to call sanctions a failure, however. Russia’s moderate GDP decline masks more profound damage to its civilian economy, as cash from last year’s record oil and gas exports was funneled directly into the military and security services. Automobile production cratered by two-thirds in 2022. Retail sales fell by at least 9%. Low official unemployment figures exclude nearly three million workers on unpaid leave.

“And the real sanctions have just started. The European Union, former top customer, stopped buying Russian crude oil last December and refined products this month. Crude seems to be finding alternative buyers in India and China, and at prices above the $60 cap decreed by the G-7 Western alliance. Elina Ribakova, deputy chief economist at the Institute of International Finance, and colleagues estimate an average of $74 per barrel since the EU embargo took effect.

“Refined products, which accounted for a quarter of Russia’s energy exports last year, may prove less fungible, however. Putin himself crippled the natural gas trade—worth $108 billion, or another third of Moscow’s 2022 energy haul—by cutting European sales. With tougher price-cap enforcement, total oil and gas revenue could fall by more than half this year, Ribakova says.”

OK, sanctions have hurt the economy, according to those who pushed the sanctions.

But the purpose of sanctions is to undercut the support of the leader. That has not happened because Putin uses sanctions to rally his people against the attack by Western imperialists. The Kims do the same. Castro did the same. The ayatollahs do the same.

Getting the Belgian-based Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, which handles financial transactions and payments among banks worldwide, to impose sanctions backfired because Russia had developed the SPFS alternative in anticipation of such a banishment.

Ribakova said, “If SWIFT had been cut off in 2014, their domestic messaging system would have collapsed. This time, their domestic system managed to function.”

If.

The Barron’s boy just doesn’t get it. He wrote, “If Putin wants to drain his country of its last ruble to fight on in Ukraine, he can likely do that for years. But if he, or a successor, wants to return Russia to some hope of prosperity, they will have to get sanctions lifted, and negotiate accordingly.”

Putin wants power. Prosperity would be nice but power is his goal.

66% of Russians approve of Putin, according to Gallup.

That’s the highest level since he reached 68% when he invaded Crimea.

Just like Obama handed the Middle East to Putin.

Barry handed it to ISIS and the Taliban, armed them as “freedom fighters”. Turned Libya into a shithole slave market , and port for European invasion.

Yeah, now Hillary will have a college course teaching “foreign policy”. No doubt she will teach how to destroy the government of a country and turn it over to terrorists just to open economic opportunities for herself and her buddies.

It all went to hell in a handbag over Trump’s 4 years. His final act was an agreement with the Taliban, and rapid draw-down of troops over his final months in office. With no plans for the evacuation of anybody. Trump left that on Biden’s desk

It’s a toss-up: gross executive incompetence, or spiteful sabotage?

Biden in government for over 40 years with his treasonous generals couldnt increase troops or get everyone to the defensible base and orderly evacuate them? There was no treaty with the Taliban Biden was free to do as he wished. Biden is a complete and utter failure. His administration is a joke worldwide.

Read what I said up above. It’s not imaginary. That’s exactly what Trump did. Can you tell me why? It was a damn serious thing to do, so there should be a damn good reason why he did it.

He pulled out the troops necessary to protect our bases and equipment. Based on a goofy agreement with the Taliban. There weren’t enough left to protect the airport and embassy, let alone far-flung assets. Biden had to raise troop levels to prepare for a more orderly evacuation. There was no getting back friendly control of all of the surrendered territory. The Taliban and other extremist groups simply closed in.

I lay that squarely on Trump. Because he quickly and deliberately did it, and it made no damn sense, so far as the best interests of our own remaining people and friendlies were concerned. In only makes sense when understood in terms of corrupted politics and infantile vindictiveness.

He pulled out the troops necessary to protect our bases and equipment. Based on a goofy agreement with the Taliban.

No, stupid, it was idiot Biden that pulled ALL the troops out and abandoned Bagram, not Trump. After it started to go to hell, idiot Biden sent troops BACK. Remember, you lying, stupid, useful idiot? The Taliban had abrogated Trump’s agreement, so under Trump, there would have BEEN no withdrawal and the Taliban would have been destroyed.

But, here’s your tale you would like for everyone to believe:

Trump had established US energy independence. Idiot Biden reversed that.
Trump had secured the southern border. Idiot Biden reversed that.
Trump had a growing, vibrant economy that just needed to be opened up. Idiot Biden reversed that.
Trump had Russia corralled. Idiot Biden reversed that.
Trump had important immigration deals with Mexico. Idiot Biden reversed that.
Trump supported law enforcement. Idiot Biden reversed that.
But idiot Biden followed, down to the very last detail, Trump’s plan for the Afghanistan withdrawal? Idiot Biden made NO changes or modification?

NO ONE here is as stupid and gullible as you are and NO ONE here buys your weak bullshit.

Trump’s withdrawal was contingent on the Taliban upholding the agreement. Because they knew idiot Biden was a weak, incompetent, stupid moron, they began attacking Afghan security forces and taking over Afghanistan. Trump’s deal was, then, OVER. NO MORE. It no longer existed. But, idiot Biden, clinging to HIS timetable, went ahead with the withdrawal and, without telling the Afghanis or even our allies, pulled EVERY US SOLDIER out in the dead of night, totally abandoning Bagram and billions of dollars of equipment.

But, speaking of totally stupid agreements, idiot Biden actually contracted with the Taliban to maintain security around the airport. Got that? Idiot Biden relied on the Taliban to protect US!! How’d that work out? Well, ask the THIRTEEN US military personnel killed by a terrorist the Taliban let out of prison after idiot Biden abandoned it. Oh, that’s right… you can’t. BECAUSE, THANKS TO IDIOT BIDEN, THEY ARE ALL DEAD.

Like he has done with every aspect of life in the US, idiot Biden totally, on his own, per HIS plan, F**KED UP the Afghanistan withdrawal. Even his gutless military leadership agree.

He pulled out the troops necessary to protect our bases and equipment. Based on a goofy agreement with the Taliban.

If we were to stipulate that absurd opinion, why didn’t Beijing joe add additional troops to protect the base and equipment? It would seem that would be a logical action if the troop level was insufficient to “protect our bases and equipment”.

No treaty none nada zip, not that the US honors treaties. No obligation to do a damn thing. There was a pefectly good airfield at the base, you can blame Trump for anything your addled brain comes up with, but then there are those pesky facts. Barry armed the “freedom fighters” Barry stopped paying the Iraq army and with all the equipment and training, that army evolved into ISIS. Murdering every ancient Christian sect they could find, Barry did nothing about that. Trump took back all the territory lost by the previous admin. Held it with minimal troops and diplomacy, not pallets of cash.
Biden was CIC he was the adult the experienced one blah blah blah.
You cant gas light us we watched Biden and his Treasonous Generals leave Americans behind, unvetted terrorists get on the planes and left our service dogs to die.
Drone kids and aid workers, and not give our sniper the go ahead to shoot the bomber before 13 of our people were blown to bits.
Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews recounted to the House Foreign Affairs Committee how his team deployed to Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021, and were tracking a man who intelligence officers believed was a suicide bomber “throughout the entirety” of the day leading up to the explosion. The Marines were told not to shoot because “leadership did not have the engagement authority for us.”Damn can they get more retarded?

Note: the FBI bots like greg are all parroting the “Trump did Afghanistan” again.

Their stalling.

You may be stupid enough to actually forget what the world was like two years ago, but not me. Trump re-established US respect around the world, even brokered historic peace in the Middle East. He strengthened NATO, which I guess was pretty fortunate, given how idiot Biden came along and generated the war in Ukraine with his S T U P I D domestic energy policies. Idiot Biden totally F**KED UP the Afghanistan withdrawal, all on his own. Even his military leaders disagreed with idiot Biden’s actions, but the dumbass had to do it HIS way. ALL idiot Biden, totally and completely. Just like our energy supply, the economy, law enforcement and our border, idiot Biden, on his own, per HIS plan, created the Afghanistan disaster.

Creating disasters is, apparently, idiot Biden’s thing.

Or supporting idiot Biden.

Biden Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm Bends Over Backwards to Defend China on Energy and Human Rights (VIDEO)

She epitomizes the stupidity of this regime. China invests in the green energy boondoggle to sell to the gullible west while they build coal-fired power plants. Meanwhile, they get a pass because they are still considered an “emerging economy”. Democrats have to keep those CCP checks coming in.

04/06/23 – A disturbing interview… ‘Putin has gone crazy’ says his defected security officer

Last edited 11 months ago by Greg

Insanity might be Putin’s line last of defense when he’s held accountable for his crimes.

Last edited 11 months ago by Greg

And what will Biden’s “last line of defense” be?

Here’s that “new generation” you think supports you…

The Nazis also turned their children into mindless little robots. You should read the rest of her Twitter posts.

Insanity might be Putin’s line last of defense when he’s held accountable for his crimes.

Incompetence is idiot Biden’s only line of defense. His incompetence is why we have a war in Ukraine and the disastrous chain of events that followed.

04/11/23 – Ukraine war: Russian parliament approves online call-up

The Russian parliament has approved legislation to start serving call-up papers online.

The Kremlin has denied the move is aimed at speeding up further mobilisation of Russian men or putting a stop to widespread draft-dodging.

Thousands of Russians have avoided the draft to escape the war in Ukraine.

Critics say the law is further evidence of authorities creating an “electronic Gulag”, referring to the Soviet-era network of prison camps.

Until now, conscription papers in Russia have had to be served in person or via an employer.

In reality, it has meant many avoiding the draft by moving away from where they were registered to live, or simply not opening the door when military officials came calling.

Under the new legislation, call-up papers will be deemed to be served as soon as they appear on a special “State Services” government portal called “Gosuslugi”.

“The summons is considered received from the moment it is placed in the personal account of a person liable for military service,” Andrei Kartapolov, chairman of the Russian parliament’s defence committee, said on TV.

From that moment, a conscript will be obliged to turn up at his local enlistment office.

Citizens who fail to show up will be banned from travelling abroad and could face other restrictions. They will not be able to buy or sell property, their driving licenses will be invalidated and they will be unable to register small businesses.

Of the 395 Russian MPs who voted on the legislation, 394 supported it and one abstained. Russia’s lower house or State Duma has 450 MPs.

The new legislation will come into effect when it is signed by President Vladimir Putin, which is likely to happen soon…

More than 300,000 former soldiers and ex-conscripts are believed to have been called up, in a drive that often saw young men being picked up on the street or in shopping malls.

Thousands of men aged 18 to 27 fled abroad to avoid the draft and protests broke out in numerous Russian cities, although they were swiftly suppressed…

No doubt this will boost Putin’s popularity enormously.

04/09/23 – Vitaly Votanovsky flees Russia after documenting a Wagner cemetery

A Russian activist who revealed details of the burials of Wagner mercenaries killed in Ukraine has left Russia.

Vitaly Votanovsky, who began documenting the deaths of Russian soldiers in Ukraine by monitoring graveyards in his home region, fled the country on 4 April after receiving numerous death threats.

He spoke to the BBC from the Armenian capital Yerevan.

Last year, Vitaly spent his 50th birthday in a jail cell.

The activist, from the southern Russian region of Krasnodar, was arrested and jailed on 24 February 2022, the day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The former Russian army officer had gone out to protest that day in clothes emblazoned with the words “No to Putin!” and “No to the war!”

Photos of Vitaly in his outfit are included in official court documents which Vitaly showed to the BBC.

“Because of that coat I got 20 days in jail!” he says.

In Krasnodar, Vitaly is known not for street protests, but for documenting graves.

He was the first person to discover a now-infamous cemetery in the small village of Bakinskaya in Krasnodar Region, since known as the Wagner cemetery.

This is where the notoriously brutal mercenary group buries many of its dead from Ukraine – men who either have no relatives or whose bodies are unclaimed.

It has grown from a small village graveyard into an enormous cemetery, with several new zones to accommodate the ever-increasing number of dead. Security guards now patrol the facility…

On Thursday, Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin visited the cemetery in Bakinskaya village and said he planned to turn it into a memorial “for future generations”.

The mercenary group chief admitted that the graveyard has expanded, adding “that’s the way life is”.

Vitaly started travelling around Krasnodar Region in May 2022, visiting every single graveyard to record the numbers of the fallen.

“I needed to prove to people that there was a catastrophe happening,” Vitaly tells me, “that people were dying here, close to them…

04/14/23 – Alexei Navalny in ‘critical’ situation after possible poisoning, says ally

…When asked about claims that Navalny might be being slowly poisoned, Putin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, said the Kremlin was not following the state of his health and that it was a matter for the federal penitentiary service.

Shaveddinov said prison authorities were trying to “break” Navalny by continuously placing him in a shtrafnoy izolyator (shizo), or punishment cell, for minor infringements of prison rules or without giving any explanation at all.

“Since August, Navalny has spent most of his time in a punishment cell,” Shaveddinov said…
