Mike gamecock DeVine @ Unified Patriots:

Rule #1: If Shepard Smith and Anderson Cooper can get a microphone and cameraman in front of a Hurricane victim, then FEMA should have already had them back in a dry home with electricity and cable TV.

As of Noon on Day Three after Hurricane Sandy’s landfall, the  death toll stands at 55 and over four million residents remain without electric power. All this, despite the fact that President Barack Obama and his non-Brownie-led Federal Emergency Management Agency had a week to prepare for this natural disaster. Moreover, much of the damage in New Jersey was caused by a levee break, despite the fact that Obama’s Stimulus bill was passed over three years ago.

Americans are suffering, and many of them are white; which raises the question: Does President Obama not care about white people.

Then-Senator Barack Obama in 2007, after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and much of the Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast:

“The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.”

The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

“The federal response after Katrina was similar to the response we saw after the riots in LA,” he thunders from the podium. “People in Washington, they wake up, they’re surprised: ‘There’s poverty in our midst! Folks are frustrated! Black people angry!…’

Obama went on to claim that President Bush and Republicans in Congress had refused to waive a federal law requiring matching state funds before federal aid could be expedited. He lied. In fact, President Bush had already signed a bill passed by the GOP Congress that waived the Stafford Act, and Senator Obama voted against it!

But not to worry, unlike his successor, this President will not merely fly over the damaged terrain. Rather, he will bring his entourage into the Garden State. No word on whether the Secret Service will deliver aid to the homeless hookers that usually frequent the Boardwalk.

Why weren’t those killed by Sandy evacuated by the Obama Administration? Why hadn’t the levee been made impregnable against a category one hurricane? After all, CNN and Fox News are able to power their equipment.
