American Stasi: The FBI Is Now Lying About What They Told FaceBook About the Laptop

On Saturday night, the American Stasi, located in the top floor of the FBI building, got around to denying they had everĀ told anyone to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.Ā Which means that any claims that they did must now, of course, be censored as Right-Wing/Russian Anti-Government Disinformation.

The day after Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook limited a polarizing story ahead of the 2020 election because of an FBI warning, the federal agency said it can only alert a private entity of a potential threat, not require it to take action. In an episode of the “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast made available Thursday, Zuckerberg said that although the FBI didn’t specifically name a New York Post article about Hunter Biden’s laptop, it “fit the pattern” of what the FBI warned about.

…In a statement Friday night, the FBI said it has provided companies with “foreign threat indicators” to help protect their platforms and customers, but that it “cannot ask, or direct, companies to take action on information received.”

“The FBI routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats,” the agency said.

Meta on Friday night responded to the FBI statement via Twitter. “The FBI shared general warnings about foreign interference — nothing specific about Hunter Biden,” the statement said.

The FBI, conveniently, did not issue this warning in writing, but only over the phone, so they can claim they said whatever they now wish to say they said. Sort of like they do with their agent interviews.Ā Convenient!

They’re also lying: They were clearly warning about the Hunter Biden story.Ā They warned of an upcoming release of a “trove of documents,” and then, within days, the Hunter Biden laptop documents began to be released.

On October 28, 2020, Zuckerberg, appearing before the Senate Commerce Committee, said that the FBI had told Facebook in the lead-up to the election that it should be “on high alert and sensitivity…if a trove of documents appeared that we should view that with suspicion, that it might be part of a foreign manipulation attempt.”

That is telling FaceBook, straight-up, that the Hunter Biden documents, which they knew were about to be released, were Russian Disinformation.Ā Which the FBI knew was a lie, because the FBI had the laptop in its possession since 2019 and had authenticated it.

In addition, Mark Zuckerberg had one of his convenient android memory gaps when asked if the FBI specifically mentioned Hunter Biden in itsĀ warning:

When Rogan asked if the FBI had told Facebook to be on guard specifically for our story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, Zuckerberg claimed, rather unconvincingly that he did “not remember . . . specifically” but “it basically fit the pattern.”

Does anyone believe he doesn’t remember? Does anyone believe he didn’t take notes of the warning, and pass on written instructions to his team based on the warning?

In response to questions from The Post, last week Facebook refused to give the date of the FBI private briefing or details of the “pattern” the FBI told them to look out for.

They’re refusing to sayĀ whoĀ gave them this helpful Censorship Advisory.

Republicans will ask Christopher Wray who it was — and Christopher Wray will, without any legal basis to do so, refuse to answer. Or will claim he does not have that information, and will just never produce that information.

He’ll just never get ’round to it.

FaceBook is now doing damage control for itself, for Mark Zuckerberg, and for its Partners in Crime at the FBI.Ā They want you to know none of this is new news:

On October 28, 2020, Zuckerberg, appearing before the Senate Commerce Committee, said that the FBI had told Facebook in the lead-up to the election that it should be “on high alert and sensitivity…if a trove of documents appeared that we should view that with suspicion, that it might be part of a foreign manipulation attempt.”This hearing was highlighted by Meta after posts of the Joe Rogan interview began flooding Twitter.

None of this is new. Mark testified before the Senate nearly two years ago that in the lead up to the 2020 election, the FBI warned about the threat of foreign hack and leak operations: https://t.co/bcRTgSe44L– Meta Newsroom (@MetaNewsroom) August 26, 2022

That’s a very Hillary Clinton stye of defense — “We’ve talked about all of this before; it’s time to move on.”

Well, maybe we’ve heard this before. But we didn’t take proper notice of it before, and now we are. Is Mark Zuckerberg telling us we’re not allowed to take the FBI’s demand of censorship seriously because we previously missed the seriousness of a line in congressional testimony during a tumultuous presidential transition?

There are no old, dumb, Jarheads. We are smart. Ace wore E,G +A at a time.
He usually is right!

Biased i am!

PS

Smart and good are not synonymous!
F. Lee Baily was bad! But VERY SMART
GWB’s man Mueller neither smart nor good.

Does anyone believe he doesnā€™t remember? Does anyone believe he didnā€™t take notes of the warning, and pass on written instructions to his team based on the warning?

He obviously passed the warning along to his people. What did he tell them? Did he mention Hunter to them? That’s pretty to run down.

But, actually, this IS old. We’ve all known it. The only interest the FBI has in the Hunter laptop case is to keep it buried. As they were leaking lies about Trump they were making sure facts about idiot Biden were not being discussed.
