A racist professor at Rutgers University says “White people are committed to being villains,” “We gotta take these MF’ers out.”

Endorses Anti-White Racism

Brittney Cooper, an associate professor in Rutgers University’s Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Africana studies, spoke recently in a conversation called “Unpacking The Attacks on Critical Race Theory” with Michael Harriot, a senior writer at The Root. The Root is a Black publication focused on racial issues. During the event, Cooper made a whole series of racist comments about white people including, “The thing I want to say to you is we got to take these motherf-ckers out but like, we can’t say that right?”

The event at which Cooper spoke was introduced by Joe Biden who congratulated The Root for conducting it. He went on to stress how this event was contributing to ensuring “equal dignity” for all. To date, the White House has issued no clarification of Biden’s comments and has not suggested that Biden found Cooper’s comments offensive in any way.

Biden delivered the opening address for The Root Institute conference.

He said their work is “so important” and “conversations like these are essential.”

Cooper’s comments are available in full online. I encourage everyone to listen to the totality of what she said. This is not a case where a few sentences were taken out of context. Cooper’s remarks can only be described as a full-on racist rant.

“White lives actually are structurally overvalued, to the extent that they undervalue other groups of people and part of what that means economically is that they explode property value so much when they move in, that they can’t afford it, which is why they not having no kids. That is a world in which, economically, we literally live in a system where even white people cannot sustain the cost of their own lives. By that, I mean the elevated cost of their own lives. It’s super perverse and also, they kind of deserve it, right? And so, they’re losing. That’s why their birth rates are down. That’s why demographics are shifting.”

“Despite what white people think of themselves, they do not defy the laws of eternity, right? Their projects are not so sophisticated that the natural laws of physics change for them. And when we sort of humble them and humble our own understanding of whiteness, it seems like the biggest giant that we face, but in the end, right, it is what I like to say is, you know, black folks were out here for centuries and centuries and millennia doing all kinds of wonderful things, and probably some f-cked up things too, but whiteness is largely an inconvenient interruption.”

In response to a question about whether white people will ever give up power and resources, Cooper said, “The thing I want to say to you is we gotta take these motherfuckers out.”

“White life expectancy has gone down for the first time in the last couple years in a hundred years…when we look at whiteness in a total assessment, for all of the effort that they are putting in to dominate absolutely everything, the return on investment continues to diminish in every generation. And so that to me says we need to keep going.”

Cooper has come under fire in the past for referring to God as an “an a–hole” with “nothing holy, loving, righteous, inclusive, liberatory theologically sound about him” and tweeting “F-ck each and every Trump supporter. You all absolutely did this. You are to blame” during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

Before you conclude that Biden was likely surprised by the tenor of the comments Cooper made, you should understand that nothing she said was out of line for The Root. It has, since its inception, published highly racist anti-white commentary.

“Whiteness is a public health crisis…”

“Whiteness is a public health crisis. It shortens life expectancies, it pollutes air, it constricts equilibrium, it devastates forests, it melts ice caps, it sparks (and funds) wars, it flattens dialects, it infests consciousnesses, and it kills people—white people and people who are not white, my mom included. There will be people who die, in 2050, because of white supremacy-induced decisions from 1850.”

“What if there was a cloud of white supremacy that hovered over America, raining violence, blood, and racism for four hundred years? What if the precipitation from this cloud made it impossible for you to harvest that “liberty and justice” shit you hold so dearly? What if the cloud murdered your countrymen with terrorism or poverty or a global pandemic?”

The Root is supported by Target, which proudly displays its logo on the website on which Cooper’s comments are posted. You might want to consider that the next time you go shopping and find the items you need elsewhere. Like many American corporations, Target has obviously bet on division and leftist rhetoric.

Racism is evil. Period. The fact that a black person is engaging in it does not make it any less evil or reprehensible. Our goal in this nation has always been unity. We have worked for generations to fulfill the vision of a truly color-blind society in which, as Martin Luther King said, men are not “judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

Nothing could be more injurious to this goal than the kind of racist garbage spewed out by Professor Cooper. Nothing could be more calculated to ensure that we will remain divided and fail to achieve our goals.

Rutgers ought to fire Cooper immediately. Target ought to withdraw its financial support for The Root. Biden, if he has a shred of decency left in his corrupt body, should immediately denounce Cooper’s comments and make clear that racism is unacceptable in any form.

Don’t hold your breath.
