The Durham Report was released yesterday. While it found any number of wrongdoings, there is no recourse to remedy it. Crossfire Hurricane was opened without a predicate and FISA warrants were obtained on a false basis. Hillary Clinton fabricated the phony Russian dossier and Obama and Biden were briefed about it so they could take steps to protect Clinton’s skullduggery. James Comey killed off two Clinton investigations- one into the fraudulent Clinton Foundation and the other into the foreign money that went into her campaign. Comey wanted the Carter Page FISA warrant in the worst way and that’s how he got it. In the worst way. Wrongly.
The FBI called its diabolical actions “missteps”
“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time. Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented. This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with the rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect.”
Jonathan Turley takes issue with that
“Missteps” is hardly how one would describe a false narrative promulgated by a campaign and perpetuated by the FBI or the derailing of a duly elected president for three years in a faux conspiracy. The statement is ample evidence of a lack of remorse by the FBI like a habitual offender giving a shrug in his court “allocution” before a judge.
On the Ingraham Angle last night former FBI agents Kyle Seraphin and Steve Friend emphasized that the FBI is not interested in crime or its victims as much as it is protecting the FBI brand.
The FBI has changed nothing. It sat on the Hunter Biden laptop for almost four years. It’s hunting down Jan 6 trespassers and letting MS13 roam free in the country. It continues to protect the guilty. Christopher Wray asked that the Seth Rich laptop be sealed for 66 years. It won’t release a document that could prove Joe Biden took bribes.
“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect sources.
That’s pretty funny stuff from the agency which opened a full-blown investigation into a Presidential candidate with zero evidence.
The FBI interfered in three elections- 2016, 2020 and 2022. The CIA interfered in 2020 election.
On April 28 the IRS Commissioner promised that there would be no retaliation against whistleblowers.
IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel promised Thursday that his agency won’t retaliate against whistleblowers when asked about an official alleging a coverup in the tax fraud investigation of first son Hunter Biden.
That proved to be as worthless as James Comey as the IRS just sprang into action to protect Hunter Biden
The IRS whistleblower, whose name has not been released, is a decorated supervisory criminal investigative agent who led the team probing the presidential son’s tax affairs.
He received whistleblower protection a few weeks ago from Congress and the Justice Department inspector general to disclose evidence he says shows there was political interference in the Hunter Biden probe.
“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress,” the whistleblower’s lawyers, Mark Lytle and Tristan Leavitt, wrote in a letter to multiple House and Senate committees. “He was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice.”
Which probably spells the end of the Hunter Biden probe. I’ve already told you that David Weiss is in the pocket of Joe Biden and has been dragging out the Hunter Biden investigation for years now.
The IRS action is a violation of Federal law
“On April 27, 2023, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel appeared before the House Committee on Ways and Means,” they noted. “He testified: ‘I can say without any hesitation there will be no retaliation for anyone making an allegation or a call to a whistleblower hotline.’ However, this move is clearly retaliatory and may also constitute obstruction of a congressional inquiry.”
Not that anything will come of it since the DOJ is already wholly corrupt. Biden has used the DOJ as his personal “Luca Brasi” team.
No one is going to pay for any of these crimes. There is no accountability. But there is one weapon the GOP can wield.
The power of the purse. It’s all they got.
It is incumbent upon them to shut down these agencies and start over. They are irrevocably corrupt. The FBI must be dismantled. It has gone completely rogue and is doing more harm than good. There is nothing worse than working to overthrow an election. The House must demand that the Director and the entire 7th floor resign or shut off its funding. It must demand that the DOJ funding be halved, and the same for the CIA unless structural changes are made.
I recently wrote that we are very close to a totalitarian fascist state. We are. Lose the next election and it’s here. You can see how there is a two-tiered justice system today- a soft one for the left and a harsh one for the right. You can see that there is no accountability for wrongdoing. We’re in a lot more danger than most realize. What happened above was far worse the Jan 6 or Watergate.

Default—which is apparently fine with Trump—would cripple the US economy. Please go into detail on how a default would actually happen. What actions or inactions would be necessary to actually default. You really do not have a firm grasp on how the mechanisms in treasury actually work. You are clueless but just repeat the lying media you choose to expose yourself to.
When “cash on hand” is exhausted, there will be no legal authority to pay the bills. The Treasury is presently keeping things afloat by tapping Civil Service Retirement funds and Postal Service Retiree Health Benefit funds.
There is ample revenue to pay interest on the debt, any debt instruments that come due and Medicare and social security. Then remaking funds can be prioritized.
We will not default unless biden tells yellen to not pay interest on debt or and debt instruments coming due.

Paying interest on the debt would be the least of our problems. Government spending accounts for over 20% of the US economy’s cash flow. We could quickly go into a deep and prolonged recession, which would diminish federal revenue even further. We’d be dealing with a vicious downward cycle.

Essential government services are not debt obligations. Hence, only debt obligations forfeiture will result in default. You really are malinformed.
