America has gotten a taste of what happens when the far left democrat party controls everything: censorship of everything, weaponization of the FBI and DOJ to punish and suppress opponents and more. Regaining the House is probably the only thing that kept this country from collapsing into a totalitarian state.
Tucker Carlson obtaining the videos from Jan 6 is incredibly important. Sunlight is the best disinfectant and America overwhelmingly wants the videos released. It is the fascist democrat party (and some assorted idiot Republicans) who are afire with outrage about their contents becoming public.
Carlson lit the fuse to a bomb when he broadcast the video capturing the actions of one Jacob Chansley. Chansley is a Navy vet who was diagnosed with a mental issue in 2006. Because of his flamboyant costume democrats seized on Chansley to make him the face of the riot and set out to make an example of him. They basically prosecuted him for all of the crimes committed on that day. The left fabricated a name for him- the “QAnon Shaman.” He’s been smeared incessantly by them. Chansley was charged with “knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.”
That right there is a lie. There isn’t a shred of evidence that Chansley was ever violent. Chansley entered the building after the doors were already open. Curiously, one inside Chansley was not stopped by a single one of the nine armed cops he encountered. In fact, he was escorted around the building by two of the cops. They can even be seen attempting to open a door for Chansley.

The bottom line is that he was convicted and handed a lengthy sentence for his costume. Jonathan Turley:
Yet many of us were surprised Chansley was given a 41-month sentence for “obstructing a federal proceeding.” The sentence exceeded those handed down for violent offenses. Indeed, an Antifa member who took an axe to a member’s office in Fargo, ND, was later given probation … and his axe back.
When Price calls that video “never before seen”, he’s not kidding. The video was not made available to anyone- not even to Chanley’s lawyer Albert Watkins. That’s called withholding Brady material.
Brady material, or the evidence the prosecutor is required to disclose under this rule, includes any information favorable to the accused which may reduce a defendant’s potential sentence, go against the credibility of an unfavorable witness, or otherwise allow a jury to infer against the defendant’s guilt.
“And through each of those three hearings that government assistant U.S. attorney knew the most important aspect of that hearing was that Jake was not violent. The government knew,” he continued. “They knew that Jake had walked around with all of these police officers. They had that video footage I didn’t get. It wasn’t disclosed to me. It wasn’t provided to me.”
The attorney called Chansley’s prison sentence a “tragedy” and a “dagger at the heart of our American justice system.”
“This is about our justice system being so compromised, the very integrity and core of that, which we wore as a badge of honor for the entirety of our nation’s history, has been rendered a vile, disgusting mess by a Department of Justice that was running amok,” Watkins said. “And they didn’t share the video of my client, the footage from my client with nine officers surrounding him peacefully, wandering about, trying to help them, trying to get him access to the Senate chamber. They didn’t because it didn’t fit their narrative.”

Comments made by the head of the Jan 6 Committee Bennie Thompson raise very serious questions. Questions like- did the Committee actually do any work at all?
But in a Wednesday night statement to CNN, select committee Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., claimed the panel never analyzed the blockbuster footage Fox News aired this week.
“I’m not actually aware of any member of the committee who had access,” Thompson said. “We had a team of employees who kind of went through the video.”

It sure doesn’t. Both Kinzinger and Cheney denied the video had been doctored, but on what basis can they make that claim? That “team of employees” was led by one James Goldston:
James Goldston, who served as president of ABC News from 2014 until early 2021, has been working as an adviser to the House select committee and quietly producing the hearing. Goldston previously helmed “Good Morning America” and “Nightline.”

The committee tapped Goldston to help convert a cache of documents, depositions, recorded footage and other materials related to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot into compelling television for those who have not closely followed the proceedings.
The broadcast is being treated as if it is a “blockbuster investigative special,” Axios reported.
Indeed. Blockbuster, heavily edited and contrived. A dog and pony show. No wonder the democrat fascists were so indignant over the video going public. Thompson is the first to jump ship separating himself from the committee, not wanting to see his reputation further trashed. I am very hopeful that Chansley gets justice and sues the J6 Committee and prosecutors for violating his civil rights.

Hubby and I actually thought about going to the rally in D.C. We had the money and the RV in which to easily travel in. What stopped us was the fact that we would have to travel so far without any firearms. We only travel to states that have reciprocity agreements with our state and when you are going on a trip, you have to plan your route carefully. What is legal in five states you travel through, may be illegal in the sixth. What then do you do with your firearms? That decision probably saved our bacon. For although we wouldn’t have gone to the Capitol itself, the fact that we had traveled to DC for the Trump rally would probably have been enough to get us a few years in D.C. finest!

After Protesiewicz said she was “proud of her record” as a Milwaukee County Judge, journalist A.J. Bayatpour asked her about the Anton Veasley case, noting that it had led to criticism that she was “soft on a violent sexual crime.” He abducted a 15-year-old Milwaukee girl off the street, randomly, and then raped her in a hotel room, court records say.
Protasiewicz started laughing before saying, “that’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Look at them all again and ask yourself if you think the videos Tucker has broadcast constitute “newly discovered evidence” undermining Chansley’s conviction.
I didn’t see exculpatory evidence in the videos Tucker broadcast. I see some contradiction of the Democrat/media January 6 narrative, but not of the offense of obstructing Congress.
If Chansley appealed his conviction based on Tucker’s videos he’d probably be found guilty again and even charged with more wrondoing.

Changing venue is more to the point of getting a fair trial.
Look at them all again and ask yourself if you think the videos Tucker has broadcast constitute “newly discovered evidence” undermining Chansley’s conviction.
The videos of Chansley provided by Tucker were not, at any time, provided to Chansley’s defense attorney. Now, prosecution is going to claim they did not have those videos, but that doesn’t relieve them of the Brady rule. So yes, the videos would be considered “new evidence” in this case.
Chansley never obstructed Congress. The door thru which he entered the building was open when he went thru it; the Congressional Hall was empty when he entered it, with the aid of USCP, I might add. At any point, one of the nine USCP officers could have arrested him while they walked down the halls, opening doors for him. They did not.
As to a change in venue; if you don’t know by now that you NEVER get a change of venue out of D.C., you should. The judges, and juries, are all government employees and they not only vote 99.8% Democrat, they almost always find Republicans “guilty” and acquit Democrats. I have been begging my Congressman to write legislation that requires venue changes for any political case in D.C. for years. Hasn’t happened.

They wanted to conceal these videos because of the threat President Trump and his 75 million voters pose to their agenda. That is why they went to such great lengths to make sure Biden got 81 million votes (big difference between votes and voters) which is what triggered the protests.
