Ukraine. What’s it all about? How did we get where we are?

Loading

Joe Biden has two masters- Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Chinese Communist Party. Zelenskyy makes demands and Biden cannot accommodate them fast enough no matter the cost to this country. How we got here is pretty interesting and one needs to understand it.

For a moment let’s go back in time. It begins with Obama – and his henchperson Victoria Nuland (Funny how pretty much everything wrong with the country goes back to Obama)

“The Ukraine Mess That Nuland Made”

Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs “Toria” Nuland was the “mastermind” behind the Feb. 22, 2014 “regime change” in Ukraine, plotting the overthrow of the democratically elected government of President Viktor Yanukovych while convincing the ever-gullible US mainstream media that the coup wasn’t really a coup but a victory for “democracy.”

To sell this latest neocon-driven “regime change” to the American people, the ugliness of the coup-makers had to be systematically airbrushed, particularly the key role of neo-Nazis and other ultra-nationalists from the Right Sektor. For the US-organized propaganda campaign to work, the coup-makers had to wear white hats, not brown shirts.

It wasn’t until July 7 that the Times admitted the importance of the neo-Nazis and other ultra-nationalists in waging war against ethnic Russian rebels in the east. The Times also reported that these far-right forces had been joined by Islamic militants. Some of those jihadists have been called “brothers” of the hyper-brutal Islamic State. Though the Times sought to spin this remarkable military alliance – neo-Nazi militias and Islamic jihadists – as a positive, the reality had to be jarring for readers who had bought into the Western propaganda about noble “pro-democracy” forces resisting evil “Russian aggression.”

Perhaps the Times sensed that it could no longer keep the lid on the troubling truth in Ukraine. For weeks, the Right Sektor militias and the neo-Nazi Azov battalion have been warning the civilian government in Kiev that they might turn on it and create a new order more to their liking.

How NATO’s expansion helped drive Putin to invade Ukraine

From the beginning, Russia strongly objected to NATO’s borders creeping closer to its territory. In 1997, Russian President Boris Yeltsin tried to secure a guarantee from President Bill Clinton that NATO would not add any former Soviet republics. Clinton refused.

The U.S. hoped that its financial support, along with diplomatic overtures from NATO, could be enough to counterbalance Russia’s displeasure over expansion — but ultimately, that didn’t work, Goldgeier said.

Over the course of the 1990s and early 2000s, NATO expanded three times: first to add the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland; then seven more countries even farther east, including the former Soviet republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania; and finally with Albania and Croatia in 2009.

“Obviously, the more it did to stabilize the situation in central and Eastern Europe and bring them into the West, the more it antagonized the Russians,” he said.

Putin sees the encroachment of NATO into his backyard as an existential threat. He claims that NATO promised not to expand toward Russia:

“You promised us in the 1990s that [NATO] would not move an inch to the East. You cheated us shamelessly,” Putin said at a news conference in December.

Not really, but it is a murky topic.

“The Russians were always concerned about how far NATO enlargement was going to go. It’s one thing for Poland to come in, or the Czech Republic to come in. That’s not such a big deal. But there was always a concern about Ukraine,” Goldgeier said.

Zelenskyy last year offered a compromise

President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is no longer pressing for NATO membership for Ukraine, a delicate issue that was one of Russia’s stated reasons for invading its pro-Western neighbor. In another apparent nod aimed at placating Moscow, Zelensky said he is open to “compromise” on the status of two breakaway pro-Russian territories that President Vladimir Putin recognized as independent just before unleashing the invasion on February 24

In February of 2014 then-President Yanukovych was ousted (Nuland). Two months later the noted energy expert Hunter Biden was appointed to the Board of Burisma.

The overlap between the vice president and his son raised concerns over a potential conflict of interest. The Obama White House said there was no issue with Hunter Biden’s work, and that no conflict of interest existed.

Uh huh

While in Ukraine, for example, Hunter sat on the board of a natural gas company called Burisma where he was paid an astonishing $11 million from 2014-18 to provide a service he was not qualified to provide.

Then in 2016 Biden had the prosecutor looking into Hunter Biden’s presence fired.

Since he took office Zelenskyy has seized full control of the Ukraine media. The other day he threw up a smoke screen as a defense for unlimited support:

“The U.S. is never going to give up on the NATO member states,” Zelenskyy says in the video. “If it happens so that Ukraine, due to various opinions and weakening, depleting of assistance, loses, Russia is going to enter Baltic states, NATO member states, and then the U.S. will have to send their sons and daughters exactly the same way as we are sending their sons and daughters to war. And they will have to fight. Because it’s NATO that we’re talking about, and they will be dying, god forbid, because it’s a horrible thing.”

I don’t believe Putin has NATO states in his sights. Will Ukraine join NATO? Think you’re confused now?

June 2021: Biden says it ‘remains to be seen’ whether Ukraine will be admitted to NATO

Also June 2021: Biden denies Ukraine prez’s claim that NATO ‘confirmed’ his country can join

December 2021: Biden assures Zelenskiy that NATO membership in Ukraine’s hands, Kyiv says

Jan 2022: NATO Won’t Let Ukraine Join Soon. Here’s Why.

Feb 2023: Ukraine WILL become a NATO member in the ‘long-term’, head of the alliance says

And of course, Biden has extended his “National Emergency” powers

Bottom line?

The Obama administration orchestrated the toppling of the Ukraine government in order to confront Putin and Russia. Along the way Hunter Biden made a coincidental fortune. Biden is continuing the plot Obama set in motion. Now we pay the price. Once you closely examine the parties involved in Ukraine you see this is not about democracy. It’s about trying to crush an adversary that is not even close to the worst threat to this nation.

China.

That’s next.

Zelenskyy is a Western-funded and installed dictator. Many heads of state in the world are.

It’s time for the nation to question the idea of our hegemony, and how it’s being manipulated by one-world-globalists to impose an evil government on the world.

@greg

Why aren’t you happen that Ukrainians are dying? It’s a step towards depopulation, and I believe you’ve voiced your desire that the planet be saved by having less people on it.

Covid, wars, etc. Isn’t this a good thing for you, assuming your beliefs are as you’ve said?

*happy

The media thinks that Ukrainian history began when Putin invaded the country,,, ignoring the many years of attacks on Russian territories by the corrupt Ukrainians.

All this escalated with the heightened talks of Ukraine joining NATO.

How would the US react with Mexico partnering with China, Russia, N. Korea, and Iran?

I think exactly a Putin reacted.

This isn’t an “are we making the same mistakes” sort of thing, the U.S. has been doing this in Ukraine since before 2014.

It’s not a mistake to the wholly evil CIA/State Department operatives (Nuland and others) plus U.S. politicians on both sides of the aisle, that have been using Ukraine as their personal piggy bank! If the conflict ends, so does most of their grift!

And this conflict needs to end quickly to prevent any further loss of innocent lives.
